“This thriller’s all of your fave page-turners (think: Luckiest Girl Alive, The Girl on the Train, Gone Girl) rolled into one.” —TheSkimm

“Both [Gillian] Flynn’s and Miranda’s main characters also reclaim the right of female characters to be more than victim or femme fatale… All the Missing Girls is set to become one of the best books of 2016.” —Los Angeles Review of Books

“Extremely interesting…a novel that will probably be called Hitchcockian.” —The New York Times Book Review

“Are you paying attention? You’ll need to be; this thriller will test your brain with its reverse chronological structure, and it’s a page-turner to boot.” —Elle

Like the spellbinding psychological suspense in The Girl on the Train and Luckiest Girl Alive, Megan Miranda’s novel is a nail-biting, breathtaking story about the disappearances of two young women—a decade apart—told in reverse.

It’s been ten years since Nicolette Farrell left her rural hometown after her best friend, Corinne, disappeared from Cooley Ridge without a trace. Back again to tie up loose ends and care for her ailing father, Nic is soon plunged into a shocking drama that reawakens Corinne’s case and breaks open old wounds long since stitched.

The decade-old investigation focused on Nic, her brother Daniel, boyfriend Tyler, and Corinne’s boyfriend Jackson. Since then, only Nic has left Cooley Ridge. Daniel and his wife, Laura, are expecting a baby; Jackson works at the town bar; and Tyler is dating Annaleise Carter, Nic’s younger neighbor and the group’s alibi the night Corinne disappeared. Then, within days of Nic’s return, Annaleise goes missing.

Told backwards—Day 15 to Day 1—from the time Annaleise goes missing, Nic works to unravel the truth about her younger neighbor’s disappearance, revealing shocking truths about her friends, her family, and what really happened to Corinne that night ten years ago.

Like nothing you’ve ever read before, All the Missing Girls delivers in all the right ways. With twists and turns that lead down dark alleys and dead ends, you may think you’re walking a familiar path, but then Megan Miranda turns it all upside down and inside out and leaves us wondering just how far we would be willing to go to protect those we love.

From finish to start... Amazing!!

Refreshing. A refreshing thriller without the trash!

Didn’t live up to the hype. I’ve seen this book mentioned in the overview for multiple books I’ve read and enjoyed - that along with the high ratings led me to believe I was going to love this one but I just didn’t. I really couldn’t stand that the story was told in reverse. It annoyed me to no end and I had trouble remembering (or caring) what happened in previous chapters. I didn’t find it very suspenseful and saw bits and pieces of the “twist” coming far ahead of time.

This was a waste of my life. Terrible.. Reading this book was like watching a bunch of 30 second unrelated movie clips smashed together. Underdeveloped and nonsensical through and through. Perhaps the worst book I have read in the last ten years.

Page turner. Loved it! Exciting, couldn't put it down

All The Missing Girls. A definite page turner! Megan Miranda never disappoints with keeping me on the edge of my seat!

Loved this book!. Full of plot twists. I couldn’t put it down! Stayed up all night reading it.

Confusing writing. Good plot but I hate how the story was told in reverse. Very confusing and difficult to remember the important parts.

All the Missing Girls. Too confusing. The story is written backwards and I got lost in the back and forth. Also the author kept repeating the same thing in different ways, took too long to get to a new idea. BUT, it was an interesting small town story, far fetched, but interesting.

PHENOMENAL. Been looking for a great read like this.. glad I found it!

All the missing girls. Didn't live up to the hype..I was waiting for shocker in the end that didn't happen. Fizzled in the end

Good story. I enjoyed this a lot

amazing book!. i loved this book. it was good i stayed up all night reading it. deff one of my new favorite books! i highly recommend!

Good book. Time line was a little hard to follow during but made sense in he end. Good story all In all

Good read. I really enjoyed this book only reason I’m giving it a 4 star review is I wish the ending had more of a definite clarification.

Don’t waste your money. If you’ve read Perfect Stranger already, this will disappoint you. Perfect Stranger is a 10 compared to this 2.

Purposely confusing. It’s not just the timeline of the story one struggles with but the purposely opaque writing that removes any pleasure in reading it. Leaves me less than satisfied with having slogged through it.

Amazing. It took me a minute to get a hang of everything going backwards but in the end it made so much sense. It was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t put it down! Highly recommended this book to anyone who loves trying to figure things out.

Must read!. Fantastic from start to finish!

Half mystery half romance novel. I do love books that tell one story from different points in time and this story was interesting in reverse. However, I felt it took way too long to get to the heart of the story. I like long books but I could have done without a good 20% of the story. I didn't hate this book but this story is no gone girl and reads more like a book version of a "chick flick".

All the missing girls. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat!!!!

Page turner. This book sweeps the reader into a mystery and paints a picture so powerful it feels weird returning to real life.

Amazing. I could not put this down! I had so many endings in mind in my head but none of them actually happened. I don’t think the telling of the story backwards was confusing at all. Made me more intrigued. Would definitely recommend!

Refreshing. I couldn't stop reading this book! Very different from your run of the mill mysteries!

Book is written in reverse!. All the Missing Girls by Megan Miranda is a story told in reverse (the writer does not pull it off). Nicolette Farrell has returned to Cooley Ridge to take care of her father’s affairs (clean out the house and put it up for sale) now that he has been moved into an assisted living facility (dementia) by her brother, Daniel. Nicolette has not been home since she was eighteen and her friend, Corinne Prescott disappeared. Corinne was never found and no one (except the killer) knows what happened to her. Nicolette is not home long with Annaleise Carter disappears. It is happening again. Are the two cases connected in some way? Join Nicolette, Daniel, and Tyler (Nicolette’s high school boyfriend) as they set out to get answers. All the Missing Girls was just too confusing. It starts out in the present day. After the disappearance of Annaleise Carter, the story speeds ahead to Day 15. The story is unfolded in reverse (day 15, 14, 13, etc.). It is confusing. Information gets repeated a few times (because of the reverse order). It did not feel like a suspense or thriller book until I was about 85% of the way through the book (I was bored and kept yawning). Then it gets a wee bit more interesting (and a little icky). I found the novel to be slow paced and the majority of the characters are unlikeable. All the Missing Girls did not hold my interest (and I really did not want to finish it). At the end of the book we are still left with unanswered questions (which made me really dislike this book). The story is told in the first person (which did not help it). I give All the Missing Girls 1.5 out of 5 stars (it was a clever idea to tell a book in reverse order). This book was just not for me. I received a complimentary copy of All the Missing Girls in exchange for an honest and fair review.

Couldn't put it down!!!. I found time anywhere to continue reading. It was the quickest read I have ever done because it just kept you guessing. Highly recommend

Excellent Book!. This book is definitely one of the best books that I have read in quite a while, and I am an avid reader! The frustrating thing is that I'm sure it will be a long time until she releases another book! Please hurry up and write more books like this one, Miranda! It was superb!

No Gone Girl. Winding with no excitement to no excitement

Read backwards!. Page turner but the reverse order of the days was frustrating, clunky, and pointless to the story. Fortunately, a digit book with Table of Contents allowed me to easily read them in order

Great book!!!. Couldn’t put down! Read in a couple days and had me on edge, well put together!!!

Couldn't put it down. I enjoyed this book! Great summer read. I recommend it!!!

All The Missing Girls. Great book!! I could not put this book down! My new favorite author!

Wanted to love it. I wanted to love this book but the constant time lapses got old and confusing and until the last 100 pages nothing really happened, just more of the same. Was the first book in a long time that was painful to get thru.

Awesome!. I couldn't put this book down.

Slow start, pulled me in. I'm an avid reader, and usually finish a book in a few days. It took me a little bit to get into this book and once I did I absolutely loved it. It was so good I had to go back and re-read certain parts after I was finished. I definitely recommend.

Ok. Good book but it seems likes a rip off of Pretty Little Liars. Way to similar.

Loved. Couldn’t put down. You can feel the atmosphere and how memory is shaping the main character’s current perception of events.

Great read!!!. A very intriguing plot that made it hard to put the book down!! A great read!

All The Missing Girls. Wow, what an incredible book! I love the way this story is told and how it keeps the reader’s interest until the very end. Megan Miranda has the ability to draw the reader in and keep them hooked from the first word to the last. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read. Love it!!

Meh.... After hearing great things, I found that it lacked the suspense of books like Gone Girl, Girl on the Train and The Lying Game, which some reviewers compared it to. I wanted to like it but found it underwhelming. I was initially intrigued by the backwards timeline but I found that it made the details seem less important as the book went on. It was an easy ready as I was able to get through it in three sittings but overall it just fell flat for me.

Kept me guessing til the end. The beginning was interesting and kept me guessing and couldn’t put it down. Then, about half way through I was able to put it down. When I started reading it again I couldn’t put it down again and loved it!! I loved it so much that I told a couple coworkers about and they’re now reading it and loving it too!! It was written differently than most books but it was amazing!!

Friends. Phenomenal what an awesome story had me on the edge. Couldn't put this book down. You will love it, best read in a long time. Brilliant ten plus get it you won't believe The twist and turns in this story. MJD

Captivating read!. To be able to tell a story is an art in itself, but to be able to tell it backwards, and still keep the reader completely engaged, is amazing! This book was quite the page turner. Being writen backwards, you’d think that the major part of the story would be told in the beginning, but Megan cleaverly finds a way to give away just enough to keep you wanting more. All lose ends in the investigations may not be tied at the conculsion of the story, but you know enough to satisfy you. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I would’ve preferred reading it from beginning to end, rather than in reverse.I actually thought, in the beginning, that I could do that, but I’m glad I stopped, due to how it’s written.

All The Missing Girls. Disappointing!!! Had high hopes for this book but it turned out to be boring and irritating. Have enjoyed her previous ones but unfortunately not this one.
