Weird. No plot, just a lot of psycho-babbling pseudo erotica. Not worth the time I wasted. I kept thinking there would be more of a story.

Pure Inpiration. This is great material! If you are looking for a writer who is able too portray an experience of bringing a person from social butterfly to willing slave, look no further. And to make matters worse, its all written without having the Dom/Master speak a single word. I have no other word to express my praise for this book. It is pure inspiration from a writers perspective and I can give it no higher praise for what it is. All I have left to say is it was too short, which i guess is the trademark to a great book.

Good...wish it ended differently. Comfort food has a very good plot and characters I just wish it had a different ending or even a sequel. It left many questions unanswered.

It was what I expected.. In a sense that it was a story about Stockholm syndrome. There is no romance or love in this story. Only that of a master and his slave. The erotic parts of the book are wonderfully written. I enjoyed it but of corse I wish there would have been more to this story concerning love and romance. I got what I looked for. Dominance and submission.

Wow I'm speechless. Reading this book really made me think, and the psychological aspect of this story is good. At first I'm like Emily be strong you will get through. But the way you see Emily breakdown and have mental failure makes u pity her. However then you see how dependent she becomes and how it's developed into a twisted companionship not love. And it has its beauty in its own way. Truly a work of art.

It's going to take awhile to feel normal again. Have you ever read a book that you identify with so much, it's like someone has been in your head? This book spoke to me on such a deep level, that I feel dazed. Even though I wish it were longer, it ended so perfectly, that I have zero disappointment.💚

Comfort food. It was great from beginning to end. The only thing disappointing is that there's no sequel.

A Great Introduction to Kitty. Comfort Food is one of my all-time favorite books. It follows the theme of Kitty 's other books that I have read, ownership of a human. A while back I reread it and decided to share about it's greatness. First off, I have always loved psychology, my major. Comfort Food is chalked full of behaviorism. The writing style totally draws you in. Emily speaks directly to you, telling you about everything. You are reading a personal, sexy, dark science experiment. The story begins with Emily waking up after having been abducted and imprisoned. Master, we never learn his name, is one of my top book boyfriends ever. He is always so in control and put together. Nothing rattles him or causes him to deviate from his plans. He's gorgeous, intelligent, rich, sexy, patient, determined, focused and leaning toward psychotic. Steadfast in getting his desires met, he wants to own her and everything about her by her choice. He never forces her to do anything, but lays the options in such a way that she wants to please him. Comfort Food takes us threw the process step by step of modifying Emily's beliefs, desires and thoughts about her life and the world. I cannot explain how interesting this truly is. You must read it for yourself.

I’m feeling a lot of emotions. The way the author writes is so vivid and I can imagine everything in my head that’s it’s crazy. Of course In the beginning you hate the guy but then you weirdly feel like they belong to each other. It a weird thought I know but when it comes to a book that’s talking about Stockholm syndrome and the persons thoughts that are talked about is the victim... you only know what she’s thinking. And that’s why you like them together. You’ll only understand when you read it. This is definitely a book for a mature audience even though the sex scenes were not very descriptive overall it’s a book that anyone under 18 should not read. It’s about a very serious topic. This should not be hoped for in a person and it does happen to people. It’s very rare that even the guy named, “Master” would be gentle and kind to the person they took. This book was very good overall with the details and imaginary, amazing. And it made me emotional a couple times in negative and positive ways. 5 stars.

Dark. For the first real dark romance I read it was very well written. I enjoyed the story and at the end glad she went the way she did!

Smoldering Hot. I absolutely love this book and the relationship that develops between Master and Emily. Just the right amount of dark, it’s brilliant!

I'm Speechless. This book is amazingly dark and fulfilling, one of the best dark erotica books I've read in a while!

Unexpectedly great. This is my first read from this author. I had some down time while waiting for a book to go live and figured I'd check out this author because I've heard such good things. This book as well as dark notes and broken dolls were recommended to me to read. It definitely exceeded expectations. It was written very well and had a plot and story line I could really get into. I love love love, dark romances and dark erotica and this was so up my alley I don't know why it's taken me so long to finally read one of her books. Comfort Food is a definite 5 star short story. It's not novella length short, but it's not a thick book by any means. It's the perfect length to read within a day and then free's up your day for another one of her books, or to spend time with family or eat. Lol

Dumb. Had potential but the way it ended combined with the fact there is no sequel just made it stupid. So glad it was free...wouldn't have paid more than that.
