Yikes. Very poorly written. It's like the author knew exactly what she wanted to talk about but didn't know how to write it in an engaging, interesting or believable way. Also the author doesn't understand what feminism is (“Jody, I’m not a feminist. I like taking care of my man. I like cooking for you.”) and doesn't understand bipolar disorder either.

how did this book ever get four stars. when i began reading this book, i was excited. the summary hinted at an enticing plot. however about a chapter or so in i was yet to be impressed. brushing it off as simply a rough beginning, i finished the book. with much disappointment i must add. the characters were so clear that everything they did i had already guessed. there was no surprise whatsoever... especially with the ending. it seems as if the author tried to make them complex, but failed. since this story is such an intimate, first person look into a woman's life, solid characters are a key component. the plot was golden, shame it had to be wasted by lack of effort...

Love.. Absolutely love the book! Sex scenes though? Yeah those could've used more elaboration other than that absolutely amazing!! 😍

The enforcer. Wow I'm glad I got this for free. I love a good hockey romance and was a little excited to start this book......But the writing was not so great, I felt that it required a massive edit. There was no spelling errors but the writing style was so basic almost like a 13 year old teenager wrote this book. Now I'm not trying to be rude but if you expect people to pay for this book series they want a good read.
