Praise for I Almost Forgot About You
“McMillan paints relationships in joyous primary colors; her novel brims with sexy repartee, caustic humor, and a fluent, assured prose that shines a bright light on her memorable characters. Her very best since Waiting to Exhale.”—O: The Oprah Magazine
“The novel is immensely companionable, and Georgia is as alive, complex, inquiring, motivated and sexy as any twenty-five-year-old. Maybe more so.”—The New York Times Book Review
“Self-discovery, second chances and the importance of family are thematic hallmarks of McMillan’s novels. . . . I Almost Forgot About You checks all the boxes.”—Washington Post
“McMillan is funny and frank about men, women and sex. Her summaries of Georgia’s marriages and major love connections . . . are powerful and poetic.”—USA Today
“Reading a Terry McMillan book feels like catching up with an old friend. . . . I Almost Forgot About You is a book that is important for readers of every age.”—Ebony

10/10. Loved everything about. Over here questioning myself, like am I Georgia !!? Lol
Perfect beginning and perfect ending. Love every minute of this book. Read it twice!
I almost forgot about you. A good read. Lunch time couldn’t come fast enough. This book was my lunch buddy
I enjoyed it!. I read this book in 2 days over the weekend.
Slow Start and Fast Ending. I have been a strong supporter of Terry McMillan from her first books so of course I read her latest. I was disappointed in how slow the first 3/4 of the book was. I honestly didn’t get into it until the last 1/4 and before I knew it the book was over! I really wish the last chapters were as slow and methodical as the first 3/4. I was sad when it ended. The best part that I was waiting for was over in a blink of an eye! ☹️
Ok. After halfway through I felt like Georgia was just a whiner.
You go girl!. I was completely happy with this read! Terry did it again!! This book is for the grown and wanna be sexy!! Mature and realist. I loved it.
Love!. Cutest story ever!
Not even half way through the book!. Terry normally delivers books I enjoy over and over. However, this book is not one. I’m finding it hard to continue reading this book. The only reason I will finish reading this is because I hate unfinished books.
Great read. I loved it. The characters are so relatable. They are in my age range and similar to people I actually know. It’s never too late to reinvent yourself and find your true passion. I’m on this journey now. This is a reminder that it’s never too late.
Good Reead. The train station made me cry and long for a love of my own.
Great read!. This book was everything I didn’t know I needed. For anyone struggling to figure out the next steps in life, this encourages you to believe and take a leap of faith. From doubt, to self love, this book takes you on a journey you won’t regret!
Not my favorite book, but interesting. I don’t think it’s a true 4 star book, but it’s better than 3. I wish I had the option of 3 1/2. It’s basically long journey through one woman’s life, her good choices (not many) & her bad choices (lots). There were WAY too many f bombs thrown in, entirely too much time spent dwelling on the many men she had sex (f bombs over & over) with through the years. Lots & lots of minor characters that it became very hard to keep up with all of their names & how & where they fit in the narrative. I wanted to cheer for her, but misty by the end, just wanted to get away from her. It’s like the friend you like but can only handle being around in short spurts.
Page turner. Exciting. I felt thrilled with the ending. Loved seeing the characters develop.
I Almost Forgot About You. Excellent. Hard to put down
I almost forgot. Did not disappoint. I cried.
Love. The best love story I've ever read! I am in love with Stan! This needs to happen in real life without me waiting 35 years?!
A Winner. This book like all of Terry McMillan's books is a winner. I love the storylines, characters, and the cool ending. She always delivers interesting stories and I'm so thankful she's still writing. Kudos to Terry McMillan!
