Can’t stop at just one. This book hooks you from the beginning and still hasn’t let me go. I am currently waiting...10 weeks until the latest book in the series arrives. Graphic, detailed, all consuming, and I can’t get enough. Am seriously hoping this series continues for many books to come. Thank you Helen Hardt for such a wonderful distraction from every day monotonous life.

Cravings. The book was great, but it ended just like that. The relationship between Jade and Talon was great and then it made me mad at how Talon treated Jade and she just fell for it every time. The price is not right to want to see how Talon and Jade has their relationship turn out to where you have to keep buying the books.

Quarantined Approved ✔️. Amazing, I mean I literally zoomed through it it was soo good!

Craving. Could have been a good book if there wasn’t so much unrealistic sex in it! Good characters. That’s about all!

Loved everything except the cliffhanger. Absolutely loved this book.! The only thing is that it ended off on a cliffhanger && I hate incomplete books.

Nooo! Why did you stop?. This is a very good story. The book stops nowhere near a good plot. Why did the author stop there?

Too drawn out. This book is hot, but I think it takes on too much. The author tries to address very serious topics but draws out the story line. I read the first three book but is moves very slow and should have been condensed.

Cliff hanger. The story was suspenseful, but answered zero questions and then ended on a cliff hanger. It was like smelling dessert and never getting to take a bite. Now I’m a little angry that I wasted my time. Sure I could read the next book, but I suspect it might make me read a few before answering any questions and who wants that?

Craving. To be fair this book was free, thankfully. If you like lots of F bombs this is a story for you. I tried to see it through as I committed myself only to find the book cuts off in the middle and you have to buy the second book to finish reading the story.

I should have listened to the reviews. It should have been explicitly stated that this was the first book of a series. Okay, that is all on me for continuing. I just want to note that. I wanted to give it a chance. The story dragged for me overall. Nothing gets resolved. Reading about the abuse of a little boy was horrible. The main characters really have issues and I just was not able to “connect “ with them as a couple. They both have issues they should work out with a therapist. Being together is not a solution. The rest of the series is way too expensive for books of this quality. I don’t plan on reading anymore.

Beware! No ending, not worth reading.. I hate when a book has no denouement or ending. This author has the nerve to expect the reader to buy all the numerous books in the series just to finish the first story. I’m not falling for it and will never read another book by this author.

Spicy, romantic, a complete page turner. I am officially obsessed. I cannot wait to continue the story of the Steele family. I finished this book so fast.

Plot holes and repetition. I hate to be one to leave a bad review but this book was near insulting. It felt rushed as if it was written and released with out any proofing or editing. There was no thought to the timeline. With in the first few chapters it was consistently explained of expanding over four days and then all of the sudden it’s said as a few weeks later but references the night before. The dialogue between characters seems rude and overly stuck up as if there were just filler words to make it last longer. Lots of filler words. And the protagonist was alllll over the place. She didn’t like something but then also liked it. I feel like their is good bones here but what’s presented is a tough draft at best.

Lip biting delicious. Couldn’t stop reading this flame igniting saga of suspense and......

Disappointed. Um. What happened to the plot? Lots of sex and vulgarity and then no ending. Going to have to stop on book one with that terrible cliffhanger.

Warning! This is not a complete book!. Warning! This is not a complete book. Abruptly it ends with no answered questions but you must buy the next “book” to read more. Who knows how many “books” you’d have to buy in order to get to the actual end of one story! I hate books like this. It infuriates me to be suckered into reading for hours then must buy more books in order to get to the end of the story. It’s like a movie or show “To be Continued”. Personally I will never read another book by this author because I think this is underhanded and tricky. This makes me think that as an author, you must realize that you aren’t a good enough writer for people to read your books & want to buy more books written by you. Shame on you!

Half a story. I don’t like unfinished books

Cannot wait for book two!!. 3.5⭐️ My Barnes & Noble was closing and I saw the steel brother saga series and I decided to pick it up and let me just say l'm not mad about it. Tike that it's kind of forbidden. And that it is a secret relationship. I could have gone without him, always saying that he wasn't good for her in every chapter. I liked this smut, but I wasn't the greatest fan of their dialogue in it. It just didn't fit LOL. But I did like the book and I can't wait to start the second book!

Hate cliffhangers that just end abruptly. First book was dark with little redeeming qualities and realizing the story is strung out over so many books ruined any further interest.

Craving. Good read

I love these books but….. I’ve read every single book in this series so far. First, they’re good, they keep a hold of you and have many cliffhangers. However, they are dragged out FOREVER! What could be one book is split between three for each character, which seems ridiculous and on top of that they’re $8 each which is a lot for a small 250 page book. As the books progress into book 20 etc, they’re really repetitive. I’m normally not one to rush a series, but I wish she’d get to the end of it already.

Fairly quick read. Spicy enough.. This one was a slower start, but a quick read. About halfway through it picks up & hooked me good. The spicy scenes aren’t too crazy, but good enough! The storyline catches you when it begins to turn mysterious AND THEN FREAKIN ENDS. I didn’t even realize how close I was to the ending, and then it was just… over. Huge cliffhanger. *sigh - pays for next book*

Good reading. I enjoyed the reading excited to read the series.

Ehhh. The book is sort of weird. All of the events (besides the sex scenes) seemed very rushed to me. The 2 main characters that are so madly in love with each and never have had any type of meaningful conversation. That’s funny. Some parts were very disturbing to read (Talon’s flashbacks from when he was a boy) and should include some type of warning. Didn’t know this was part of series because that is not displayed.

Fascinating, and sexy!. Can’t believe I’ve finished the first book. Only started it 24 hours ago and I’ve been asleep in between. Buying the second one now!

O.M.G.. This whole series (all 9 books) I read in a week. I just couldn’t put them down. Loved the cliff hangers, the plot twists and even the relationships. Was a little disappointed that it ended there as I thought Marj deserved books of her own, thought something would happen between her and Bryce.

Craving. The book was great but I didn’t like how it ended like why did marj find the birth certificate and then didn’t find out why. Couldn’t Taylon go looking for jade and tell her the truth about what happened to him. Please put the best bits in the middle not for the next book as some people don’t have the money for the next books. Overall it was a great read.

Super read but ended too quickly.. It was a really good book that kept me on the edge of my seat but ended way to quickly for my liking it should of carried on with their story in this book and then went onto another brother in the next book.

Not worthy of the hype. This author seems to be everywhere right now. Poorly written characters and overtired storyline. Why does every writer suddenly attempt to write apologetic "mainstream" S and M to explain why people are attracted to it. Although this novel was a free read, I won't get the time back I wasted reading it. Not for women who are independent thinkers.

Cravings. I haven’t read a book in years, I didn’t get into the Mr Greys books but this book kept me interested from the first page. I’m looking forward to reading the other books.

Not sure yet. Reserving judgment.. Story is interesting enough, but also quite unsettling in lots of ways. Found some parts quite uncomfortable to read and can’t quite warm to the main two characters as yet. This story probably has a long way to go before we get any answers, but I will likely read the next book in series to see how things progress. Until then, I’ll reserve my judgment.

Good but little disappointed.. The story is good, with a good plot and characters. Nice to see a cliffhanger ending. Does make me want to read the next book but somewhere in the middle I felt like leaving the book. However, I did then think to give it another chance. Some dialogue was repetitive but what I found most disappointing was the love lust, I found it to be forceful in the situation at times. It was something that didn't flow in well and to not carry on the emotion. But to just have it thrown in for the sake of the book and genre. It didn't feel as natural to the story or situation and wasn't well intertwined as it could have been. I also have questions about Talon's character and characteristics especially seeing his past and present which I don't feel to go together or explains his behaviour, but maybe my questions may be answered in the next book. Will have to read on to see then!

Amazing. I haven’t read a book like this in too long! I couldn’t put it down. The storyline is intriguing, the characters are brilliant and the s*x scenes are hot. I’ve read too many books that feel rushed or unfinished lately. It’s refreshing to read something so well thought out, that draws you into the story without disappointing you with incomplete scenes or missing key story details Thank you Helen :)

Excellent. I have read these book a few times now. Every time a new addition to the saga comes out I re-read the books. Such pain and sadness in the stories but together they show a strength as a family. Totally gripped with the twists and turns with not only the brothers but the women in their lives. Quite a few shocks on the way and can not wait to finish reading Marjorie’s story.

Steel brothers. A well written story, with very real characters. My only gripe is that it's part of a series, I will have to buy at least the next 2 books @$8.99 to find out what happens next. I would also note that this story contains very graphic flash backs of a childhood rape memory. Otherwise, so far this is really good.

Books good price not. The book is pretty good and I have enjoyed 9 so far however the price is extravagant. Considering there is no printing in this as it’s an e-book honestly I believe almost $10 a book is far fetched however I’m a sucker and I have paid it.

Hype?. I don't get it, I don't understand what all the hype is regarding these books, I ended up skipping through & finally getting to the end. Don't really agree on the cost of the book either - it should be a lot lower for the size of the book.

Not cool.. The beginning of this story is exactly one of the reasons why woman stay in DV relationships. This book romanticises a damaged man and women think they’ll get a happy ending like this book. A woman should never let a man grab her and speak to her the way the live interest did in the beginning of this. Not okay! No means NO.

Addicting. Don't plan anything until you have time to read the book (and the next one- I'm counting the hours till number 3 comes out). It's dark and mysterious at times. But as the story unfolds it's an incredible journey. You genuinely care for the characters!!

Steel Brothers books - great read. This book was awesome. I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait to get the next couple of books. I can’t seem to read a paperback without falling asleep but don’t have trouble on my IPad. The only thing I didn’t like was the way it ended. The best book I’ve read for a while.

So much detail. This book was about carving or obsessing over people I loved it and I loved how it had about 2 pages of extreme detail.

No resolution or ending. Not a whole narrative! Bit of a scam, you have to buy the next two books to get a whole story. Not a bad story, but...it leaves a bad taste when you realise the author has deliberately not published any sort of resolution or finale in the book to force you to buy more. Get it from the library.

Helen Hardt Knows How To Write. I came here after I read her series Blood Bond. The rest of the books are really pricey but the story is great so far. I don’t know how anyone could finish this book and not look for more. If you want to read a couple dollars cheaper go to Amazon Kindle (you can download the app free). You will be paying for the books but at a dollar or two cheaper. Oh man I love this series so far! I love her writing style (not too into the gushy romance), but oh the plot line with its clever turns and everything is right under Talon’s nose if he just talked to Jade!

Amazing and exciting. I couldn’t stop reading due to the excitement and when it ended I just had to get the next book. Must read

Craving too much. Great first book of series but @ 8.99 each book after that is a bit much. Yes understand author effort in the writing but I would happily pay up to $20.00 for a book of 1000-1500 pages. And that is also in paper form book At this rate to finish the series 11 books in total is nearly $100 for approximately 3100 pages. So in theory the most I would happily pay about $50. I’m not going to finish the series unless the price comes down.

Good writing, questionable behaviour. The writing and editing were good, however it was so tedious with the to-ing and fro-ing of both protagonists - ‘I want them, I don’t want them’, ‘I’m leaving, I’m staying’. It was quite frustrating. I was concerned with the male character’s aggression and his complete dismissal of the females wishes. The writer could use some lessons in consent. I find it so hard to rationalise hot s*x with being in love, considering there is hardly any dialogue.

Doesn’t disappoint. Wow, twists you don’t see coming. Such a well written novel. Recommend to all

Good read. Really enjoyed this book. Great story line looking forward to the next one. Really frustrated with all the typos. Disappointing to pay for a book that has so many typing/grammatical errors.

Word choice could be improved. I didn’t mind this book, it is pretty sexy but sometimes the word choice in some of the scenes are not very eloquent and will jolt you out of the “flow” of the story.

Talon & Jade - part 1. Recommend! Explosive chemistry between the two. Heartbroken by what little is revealed about Talon’s past in part one of his trilogy. Interesting little mysteries thrown in here and there - on to the second book to learn more!

Not worth the $$. I found this book very short for $9.00. Read it in two days. Sex scenes seemed repetitive, use of same vocabulary was boring. Character development was ok at best. The ending seemed to be extremely rushed, like the author had a deadline to meet and needed to finish the book. I won't be wasting my money in the next book in the series...I'll just make up a happy ending for Jade and Talon in my head and save my next $9.00 for a longer, well-written, better thought out book. Sadly written. The story is ok. It’s simple and very basic. Lots of repeating it’s self . More to come as I read on! Iam only in the tenth chapter and am rolling my eyes like really. Did a 10 year old write this? No off offence to a 10 y/o.. Ya the start of chapter 10 pretty much made my mind up that this book is not for me. 10 is pretty “ well how can I say this dumb” does any one proof read anymore .
