Just AWESOME!. I like rockstar books, but a lot are just bad, therefore, the bar isn't set high for a "good" rockstar book... But this was awesome! And just a great romance read regardless! Idol VIP series. by Kristen Callihan. I was hooked by Chapter 4. I fell in love with Liberty and Killian and never swayed for the entire book. Kristen brought each and every character to life. Killian was a member of a world famous band called Kill John once the entire band was introduced (Jax, Rye, and Whip) the book just came to life even more. I cannot wait for the continuation of the VIP series.

HOT & Sweet!. What can I say about a hot, charming but sweet rocker like Killian James and a strong but recluse country girl next door like Liberty Bell getting together in an unlikely love at first sight love story?!? There are a few chapters that had me laughing and rooting for them to get together 😂😂😂!! Of course like many love stories, there’s bound to be drama with the usual push/pull dynamics as well as the heart string moments that made my heart ache cheering them on to get together!!! Also I liked on how Kirsten created well developed characters with realistic storytelling regarding mental illness & alcoholism within the love story between Killian and Liberty. Loved every moment reading this book all the way through that it took two days to finish it 😂😂😂!

Wonderful series. Thank you, Kristen!. I have read Idol several times, as well as Managed and Fall. They fit well into my favorite go-to series’ within my library. The characters are charming, funny, troubled and multifaceted. I would love to have this series as audiobooks.

I have found my happy place again!!. It’s not a stretch to say a lot books these days are lacking. I’ve downloaded so many books lately where the writing was terrible or the characters had no depth to them, or it was rushed and just a big disappointment. But this gem… this one has made me love reading again. I love the storyline. The characters are well written in that it makes you crave more of their story. Gives us just enough to want more. And thank god for this author’s writing. I’m totally obsessed now with her. Got to read everything. It’s everything I love in a book. And it’s been awhile since I’ve found a book I can’t put down. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Perfect love. Not really into stories about people in the entertainment industry but I gave this one a shot and I’m glad I did. This is my first by this author.well written and well developed characters. Heart wrenching love. Steamy but not overly so. It’s just enough to emphasize the true chemistry between Killian and Libby. Loved it!

Amazing. I loved the banter between the lawnbum and Ellie May. I love how everything was written. Just didn't like their stubbornness.

Wow. I took a chance on this book and it delivered. Just found my new favorite author.

Loved it!!!!!!!!!!. Killian is not your typical rockstar and Libby is not your typical farm girl but together they are perfect. Lillian landing on Libby's lawn and her smart mouth attitude is what seems to draw him to her. She is Killian's normal in a life that is anything but normal when you are rock stars. Libby gives Killian the normal he is searching for in life and Killian gives Libby the chance to begin living and moving out of her hermit lifestyle. How these two work through everything to get what they want in the music industry and also to be there for each other proves that they both deserve to have the true love they both have been looking for. I can not wait to hear more from this couple and to get the rest of the bands stories.

Idol. First time reading this author. Warning, the “F” word is used often and sex is descriptive. Because it’s a story about a rock band I guess that’s to be expected. The characters were well written and I was caught up in their story.

Review: VIP 1: Idol. Idol by Kristen Callihan is the first book in her new VIP series. As the cover and title suggest, this is a rock-star romance. What the title and cover cannot convey is just how wonderfully awesome this book is. A complete journey into the lives of Killian (also the name of my favorite pirate, SWOON) and Liberty. From their completely awful initial meeting that was just bloody marvelously done, to their slow burning attraction, and then onwards to meeting the band, it was just descriptive and rich and wonderful. With plenty of angst to go around it wasn't all just heaped into one situation, the angst was spread around between Killian's disconnect from music, to when the real-world invaded their little bubble, to dealing with Jax and his boatload of issues. Gah, I loved this so much!

Lawn Bum. I really enjoyed the character Libby she had a strong sense of self even though she was basically living as a hermit. I have the say that the lawn bum part was hysterical and the rest was as low steady burn that had a great pace and brought each character into the story slowly and with purpose so you invested into each one of them. This first book introduces us to the group and you will like them all and want to know what happens next. I look forward to reading more books in this series and catching up with others as their lives continue to grow and evolve outside of the music.

Idol. I had trouble putting the book down. Had amazing suspends. Just enough that you are interested but don't lose interest. Can't wait fir the next book.

Amazballs. I greatly enjoyed this book. It wasn't as amazing as the Game On Series but I really enjoy her style of writing and Killian and Libby were such a fun couple. I enjoyed living in the Kill John world even for a little while. I can't wait for Scotties book though I'm going to really enjoy watching Sophie thaw his out! Thanks for the great read!

SO SO SO SO GOOD. This book is worth the read! so good! Never a boring minute, and so interesting. The details are intriguing and always keep you movivated to read on. I would recommend this book to anyone. Im extremely surprised its not as popular as other books. This deserves to be top 10 in top charts.

Brilliant. Loved this book. I'm not usually into rock star themed romances due to petty BS, groupies and cheating, thus book had none of that. What it had was a sexy, funny, kind, loveable, devoted and loyal rock star. Kristen writes the best heroes and Killian was no exception. Romantic, sweet, little angsty and some heartbreak. Loved everything about it especially the music references. Highly recommended!

Fantastic. Awesome read. I love Kristen Callihan after reading the three Game On books. I can't wait for the second book of this series. Kristen never disappoints, one of my favourite authors at the moment.

Loved it 😊. This was the first book by Kristen Callihan that I have read and it was brilliant. I loved every word and didn't want to put it down.

Brilliant. I was hooked within the first twenty pages. It was crass and real and I absolutely loved it. It was funny. I loved the musical journey this book took me on (so poignant and not cheesy). Honestly, if I could rate this higher than five stars I would. It was so good.

Claypot2850. I really enjoyed this book. Very different from the other Kristen Callihan books I have read but I loved it. The dialogue and angst between Libby and Killian was beautiful. The descriptive scenes made me feel like I was really there when he rediscovered music.The chemistry between the two was off the charts and hot as hell. The support characters were great and you can tell there are some awesome stories to come. I loved everything about this book and could not recommend it highly enough. Definitely looking forward to book # 2 in this series.

Pretty Good. I was a huge fan of the Game On series so was excited to read another of her books. It's not as good as the sexy football players but still a good read. Libby has lots of spunk and will make you smile and Killian has the sweets to melt you.
