Read this first. If you have not started the Emperor’s Blades. Great series, bloody and grim at points, but captivating and well written, complex to start, but comes together… a favorite ad one long story…
On par. Par for the course..... not as good as his second and third book in his previous trilogy. However this book is another style.... but still amazing building of characters. Wish I could do 4 and 1/2
