PNR Nirvana!. Wow! This book totally encompasses everything I love in a PNR novel! There is a strong female struggling with a possible mate even tho she wasn't looking for one. Hot, sexy shifters of various types, and even a select other paranormal characters. This write even thought of an amazing storyline other than just the fated mate struggle. Intrigue, mystery, danger, all the things that keep the pages flying by!! Very, totally pleased with this experience! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Enjoyed. A few problems but over all a delightful read. I will read the next book...

It was good, but.... This book is a bit hard to review. It was a good story, but there was so much information thrown in. I found myself skipping so many pages and just focusing on the 2 main characters. One time i skipped thorugh almost 10 pages because there was no dialogue, it was simply characters thinking. the story was nice, but i don’t think i’ll continue with the series. I don’t like skipping pages, and when I do skip pages, and i can still keep up with the story it is a deal breaker.

Hmmmmm. This was a hard book to review. Although the story was well written the characters lacked depth. I find sometimes with the first book of a series that the author tries too hard to introduce everything all at once and it takes away from the individual story. I plan to read the second book because I really liked the world she was creating.

Sassy and fun. Really enjoyed this first book in this series. It twists some of what we generally accept in supernatural mythology such as the origins of supers (referred to here as Others) and the various abilities and ways to kill them. The story is intriguing and sets up a story arc that will run through the series according to the author notes. While the couple here, Adam and Jenna, get their HEA much of the story's premise is unresolved. For people who don't like to be forced to buy another book to get their story conclusions this would be a turn off. Jenna is an interesting character. A hybrid Other who has been kept completely in seclusion hidden from other Others all her life is essentially outed and has to adapt to her new reality. It becomes clear her family did her a grave disservice by not educating her about Others and much of the book is her learning and navigating her new reality. It's a fun trip for the reader. Plus, Jenna is sassy and not thrilled with pack hierarchy crap so her comments to that end are very entertaining. I enjoyed Jessie Lane's writing and will continue on with the series.

Love it!!!!. This book had me laughing throughout the story with the strong female character.... the morning coffee scene was hilarious, couldn't stop laughing!!!! The sexual tension was very very well written too. Love this author, loved the storyline and loved the book. Definitely recommend!!!
