Back to Jodi. This was a great story with a touchy subject. It held my interest the whole way through. Much better than The Protector. Jodi can tell a wonderful story and this book didn't disappoint.

I loved every word of this book!!. Jodi Ellen Malpas continues to be an author that completely consumes me within every single book she writes. She is one of my absolute favorite authors, and her books continue to wow me and blow me away with all that they have. The way her writing pulls me into it all, the way she brings this unforgettable intensity to every word, and the way she weaves so much emotion and fire and power to what she so beautifully crafts is just part of what has made her books some of my all-time favorites. I think it’s pretty much impossible for this author to write a book that I won’t love. She just has a way of writing and storytelling that is enthralling, breathtaking, and bursting with a love story that takes ahold of me with all that it has. Jodi Ellen Malpas knows how to write a mesmerizing love story through and through, one that will own you, your heart, and your very mind, and one that will have you so beyond in every word of what she so phenomenally creates. The Forbidden was no different. This book captured me in from the very first page, pulled me right into the thick of it with its characters, and had me completely engrossed in the intensity and spark of it all. This story definitely pushes the boundaries, but does it in a way that is real, honest, heart wrenching and truly unforgettable. The moment I finished this story, I just wanted to start it all over again to experience more time with these characters because that’s how much I loved this book. Jodi Ellen Malpas once again blew me away with what she gave me in this book. The Forbidden was bursting with her exceptional writing, her dynamic characters that completely seared themselves to my heart, and a story that had me living and breathing and feeling every word from start to finish. This book was incredible, so well-paced, and had my heart in every single word, and that is just part of what made me love it so much. The Forbidden was another outstanding story by Jodi Ellen Malpas. This story definitely pushed my heart and all of my emotions to the edge, but it did it in the most intense and all-feeling way that I know I won’t soon forget. Everything I got with Annie and Jack as they wove their way through the web of their forbidden feelings was real, raw, so incredibly intense, and so packed with the most breathtaking emotion that gave me it all. This story and its characters were exceptionally developed and crafted, had me feeling so much through every word, and in the end they gave me a reading experience that was the perfect amount of romance, fire and spark, emotion, and shocking twists and turns that had me encapsulated within it all. Jodi Ellen Malpas created the most phenomenal story and characters in The Forbidden. She created a book I could not put down, and she created a love story that struck me to the core of my heart. This book wowed me, it consumed me, and it pulled me in a million different directions with its characters, and I can’t say enough how truly incredible it was to read and experience. The Forbidden is a story that will make you think and feel and question from page one to the very end. It will push your heart and your emotions and your mind through every word, it will give you Annie and Jack and the forbidden web their relationship weaves, and in the end it will give you one helluva love story that I promise you won’t soon forget.

Loved it! ❤️. I understand how some readers could be disappointed about the married man situation..But! I'm going to do my best without giving to much away ! Lol It was not a marriage out of love.. and hopefully I'm right in assuming you guys are not on bored with mental and physical abuse , More like a trap then a traditional marriage in the sense. so that's just my opinion. Especially if money is dangling over your head . So I myself am totally in love with this book ! :)👍

👎. Just wanted it to end!! I love the other books. This one just drug on and on. Kind of good the last couple of chapters. Too much $$$ for this one. She always has such strong male characters even if conflicted. This one just seemed weak. I would skip it.

Great Story. While it might stir a but of controversy it gives the other side of the story. I laughed, I cried....and boy I cried, but I really loved this story. Jodi Ellen Malpas nailed this story! Which is why she's one of my favorites!

Soul Mate. This was an incredible story. The struggle to do the right thing when faced with a moral dilemma. Along the way you have to make a decision that is in conflict. We all have been there and somethings you have to choose the best path even though others disagree. Love will the ultimate decision. I hope there will be another book in this series as Jack and Annie deserve their story to continue.

Excellent and beautiful. I loved this hot,hot well written novel. It’s a love story full of intense circumstances that only true love can overcome. I felt it’s beauty through the feelings of the principal characters. I read it without any rest as I couldn’t stay away of this hot relationship and strong circumstances. I truly recommend The Forbidden as well as everything that Jodi Ellen Malpas writes.

Electric. I loved her series This Man before I read this book. But this story is very taboo and also amazing. The chemistry of the main characters you can feel it leave the page and capture you. You feel their attraction and their heartache. I found myself on the verge of tears and then smiling and cheering their lives. A great read. Recommend this book! You will love it!

Another hit!. I finished this book in a day and my only disapoinment is that there isn't another on the way. Prepare to be on the edge of your seat! I love a book that makes you feel the characters internal struggles and The Forbidden does not disappoint! Hot love scenes and a steamy plot you're sure to enjoy. What a great read!!!

What’s forbidden can be had. Anything Jodi writes...I read. She has a true talent for writing stories that we shouldn’t want to love but become consumed with. Jack is right behind Jesse in the JEM Alpha world for me. He is so true to his heart while fighting his conscience for what he truly wants. Jack will consume you and make you yell and cry along with Annie to get her HEA. I have read this story at least 8 times and I don’t see me slowing down anytime soon. As always a JEM must read

Amazing!! You will not be able to put it down!!!. Jodi, please do an update and add an epilogue. We need to hear more. 5 stars not enough, this is writing, at its best. True love concurs all is the theme of this one. 👏🏼👌🏼🥂real every day ppl. Can’t say enough. JEM is gifted!! This shows what unconditional love is all about, and it makes us continue to be dreamers, that there is still a chance, that we can find someone to love, as much as Jack and Annie, loved each other, despite all the obstacles in their path.

forbidden. You truly are a master storyteller of epic proportions. My emotions were all over the place and I didn't want Jack and Annie story to end! I loved everything about this book!

The Forbidden. I’ve read all of Jodie’s novels and this story doesn’t disappoint. I’ve been missing Jessie and Ava so that I’ve had to read This Man trilogy and Miller and Livy waiting for her next adventure. I wasn’t disappointed. I would have been very happy to have a longer fleshed out story of Jack and Annie. Jodi has a real talent to make you fall in love with her men. Thank you Jodi for sharing your talents with the world.

Great writer. Not everyone will appreciate the story, but JEM can write. As always, I enjoyed her storytelling and appreciate the different perspective. Life is not always easy as Jack and Annie discovered.

The Forbidden. So disappointed. It was not the writing, but the content. I'm sad because this author is my favorite above E.L. James. I'm a married woman and I understand the dynamics of what you wanted to portray about their special love, however, personally did not enjoy reading about an affair. It was disturbing.

No stars. "This man " with a married man. Need I say more? Any possibility for a refund? JEM ru running out of ideas to write because this book was a huge let down. This man and one night I have read over multiple times...we need more of The lord and miller hart please.

Not my type of storyline. This story aimed to make you feel sympathetic for the main character, but I couldn't feel any sympathy at all. There was a clear lack of storyline development. There was a need for more dynamism between all of the characters. I was a bit bored reading...few parts of the storyline were novel.

Perfect and real.. I was so concerned seeing all the bad reviews from married women. Reading this must’ve been difficult if you aren’t already comfortable with your marriage. I personally loved the book, it was raw and real. This book needed to be written. Love and marriage do not come with instructions, some people are meant to be together no matter their circumstances. Read the book and be prepared to feel a whirlwind of emotions. - a married woman.

Don't waste your time. If I could give this book zero stars I would. I tried to soldier on and read this book but I can't be ok with infidelity. This book was a waste of money and I expected more since I loved the this man series. Nothing like the this man series. Don't waste your time. Buy something else.

Meh. This book was just ok. It dragged on in plot and I hated the fact that he was a married man. I do love all of Jodi Ellen Malpas books but this was def my least favourite.
