I wouldn't waste your time. This is an ABSOLUTELY amazing idea. It is also extremely horrid writing. The character is afraid of everything, you get zero explanations, and she literally is "frozen in fear" throughout the whole book. It's slow and fat at the same time, she has the exact same conversation with Vali every time and I do mean every time. I want this book to be re written by someone with a little more imagination.....also I can't stand the main character and her 12 year old backwards self.

Eeh. I Couldn’t get into it. The story premise is good & it had some potential, but I couldn’t take the weak nature of Lily & the vaguely answered questions . Just not for me.

The Frozen Witch Book One. It is an interesting story, but it is more of a large sample than a real book.

Sooo slow and confusing. I could not get interested in this book enough to finish it. Horrible writing and insanely confusing. Big waste of my time.

Why. This feels like a 5th grade writer who thinks that in order to have a good book, she needs to have similes or metaphors every other sentence. If she wants to write a book that is well respected by the majority of readers, I'd recommend that she learn how not to smother her readers with similes. They're not necessary when you're in the middle of some mundane scene. Keep it for the parts that it will have an impact on the reader, rather than where they will simply make the reader tired of them.

The Frozen witch is a great title and it has to do much with the protagonist. It is a great book that once you start reading you won’t want to stop reading the book.

Review. I was between giving 1 star or two stars throughout the whole book. I don't care about the characters, at all. The descriptions are great though. I can picture everything, but the characters are flat and too convent. I actually wanted Vali to find another human to take over. One that won't throw out riddles all of the time or stick to his character. There are too many annoying questions from a fast paced book. Characters were forced into roles and the reasons for the plot were weak. Everybody would have to work off their sins, according to this world. And everyone has powers? I'm surprised there is even another book when this one should of been looked at again and longer.

This book is an absolute nightmare. The same gaps in story lines, static characters and repetitive situations are highlighted throughout the series. It could have been better with more attention to the plot or weaving together more mythology with the characters and not describing Vali’s massive build for the hundredth time. This would have been a great first draft to build on and revise, take apart and question things that motivate the characters. Instead it was forced and at times awkward to read. It’s a no for me

Enthralling. I started reading this book in the hopes it would rekindle my love for reading, I had been stuck in a reading rut, unable to get into a book, unable to properly enjoy a good book. This book grabbed my attention, right up my alley, and I must say, it worked. I’m looking forward to purchasing and reading the rest of the books in the series when I get the money.

Great Story. Loved Lily and Vali. Can’t wait to start the next book!

First book a haven’t bothered finishing in years. Dreadful. I read all kinds of genres and always finish before judging, but I could only force myself to get halfway through this waste of time. Ridiculous plot, unlikeable characters, rambling narrative.

Writing ok, interesting story. The writing could be a bit repetitive but the story was interesting enough to get through it.

Pretty good. I personally found this book interesting and it has a creative plot by one of the best writers ;)

Frozen witch. Yes at first it was slow but once the magic started it picked up. I enjoyed it.

Didn’t even finish. I found this book to be very dull. It didn’t captivate my interest at all, and I found myself wanting to skip paragraphs because it was so repetitive, and the main character is a whiny brat. I made it more than halfway through and couldn’t take it anymore. I’ve never not finished a book until this one. Glad it was a free one and I didn’t waste money on it.
