READ LIKE SO MANY TIMES. It was humorous and I loved the little lessons in it. How he (main) conquered fears, learned what was going on, adapted! Really good book I highly recommend it. Just one quick question dunno if you can answer but I’m thinking the main character is Max. . . or just some other person. . . But my point is it’s amazing and I have learned quite some things from it and it’s making me think and feel how to do better and grow up to be a better person.

My kids and I had a pleasant bedtime read with this book. My kids are obsessed with Minecraft! This novel is an easy sell to them: full of Minecraft in-jokes and helpful tricks: for the game AND for real life. I was already a big fan of Max Brookes from the excellent and quirky world war Z. While this book is nice and simple I see it as a gateway to more challenging bedtime stories to come...

Excellent book.. This is one of the best Minecraft books in my opinion. I’ve read many Minecraft books, most of them being either playing the game irl, or living in the game. This one is unique though, and it’s so well written. As the main character figures things out, learning and failing, he makes many animal friends and making discoveries. I also love listening to the audiobook for this, read by Jack black. I can’t wait for the 3rd book!

Part Two???. This book was great i would love a part two of this book showing what happens after he leaves the island
