Yes Booker!. Ethan Booker makes this story 5 stars all on his own! I adored the fact that he protected and watched out for Laurie for ten years. When he realized his feelings were more, he bided his time for the right moment. I have to say, his way of telling her her one night stands were over was hot! Laurie took a little longer to love but she had a pretty big chip on her shoulder put there by her mom, but Booker tore those walls right down. I loved how the author didn't linger too long on issues and kept the pace of the story flowing smoothly. Great read! ARC provided by NetGalley.

Fast forward exactly ten years later and Sheriff Ethan Booker is ready to collect on his promise to bakery owner Laurie Peterson. She's determined to keep it to one night, just like she does with every other man she's been with but when her bakery burns down and she's left with nothing, Booker is the person to get her life back on track. All she needs to do is play girlfriend for six events leading to Booker's sister's wedding. Booker has six events to convince Lauralie that she should be with him. I totally fell in love with this book. Laurie was strong and hilarious. She definitely wasn't one to be pushed around, especially by Booker. Booker is so dedicated and protective. He does everything he can to convince Laurie that she can lean on him and that doesn't in any way make her weak. I loved the Booker family and how everyone rallied to help each other. I didn't read book one in this series but it has definitely been added to my TBR! *This is my voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy*

Patients. What a fabulously intriguing story of patients and endurance. The heart knows what it wants! Waiting 10 years is extreme, but it needed to be done. Some people hide not only from others, but most damagingly themselves before they find the truth and comfort of love. Booker had his sights set on Laurelie from the get go, but being older he knew he couldn’t act upon the feelings she evoked within him. So telling her they could revisit that issue in 10 years was his way to bide some time, but then he had to convince her! New Year’s Eve 10 years later, he marches into her apartment and takes what he’s wanted all along, HER!!! Unfortunately as usual her mother arrives back into town and throws a cold shower on her good feelings. Booker tries to convince Laurelie that he’s there for her and she can lean on him, but that’s not her. She stands up for herself and leans on no one…. Does Booker finally convince her that it doesn’t matter that their backgrounds (his parents money and her extreme lack of money as well as her low life mothers reputation) are completely opposite, love has no bounds. The heart sees what it wants and goes after it. Or does Laurelie stick with her fears and blow away her chance at happiness? You’ll have to read HARD COMPROMISE to find out. I love the completeness these two seemed to make together throughout the story. This was my first Samanthe Beck story, but I look forward to reading more like this one. Amazing. LOVED!!! Booker is incredibly yummy and the chemistry between him and Laurie sizzles the pages of this book. Booker's been watching Laurie for ten years. He's seen her grow from an out of control teenager to the breathtaking successful woman she is today and he's determined that now is their time. Convincing Laurie might take a little work but he's in. All in! Samanthe Beck did an amazing job of writing a story that grabs your attention from the very first page and keeping you so enthralled you don't want to see it end. Put this on the must read list. I highly recommend it.

Sexy!. Another sexy installment in the Compromise Me series! Laurie and Ethan have had ten years in which to build the anticipation and their first time together is HOT! He has patiently waiting for the time to make his move, and one night will not be enough for him. But Laurie doesn't do relationships, so when the opportunity to have her pretend to be his girlfriend arises, he jumps at it. It may be pretend for her, but it's always been real for him. I loved seeing Ethan start to bring down some of Laurie's walls until she really lets him in. Ethan's family is great and his mom was an unexpected surprise. I've really enjoyed the series so far and am eagerly awaiting more! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

So Hot & Sexy!. Fantastic! Amazing story that is so Hot and Sexy! This is my first Samantha Beck story and it is so not my last. Loved this from the start. My kindle was steaming and burning my fingers as I read this well written, sexy story. Ethan booker is the ultimate alpha, who has been waiting for the last ten years to claim Lauralie Peterson or Jailbait as he affectionately calls her. And although Lauralie Is totally caught off guard by Ethan’s actions she is totally down for anything with him, or at least until morning. Their chemistry is sizzling and the sex scenes are totally epic. You don’t want to miss this story. I now need to get the first in this series, because this was just to fantastic to not read the one that started off this series. Get it now! Loved it! Highly Recommended!
