#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • “A delightfully lighthearted caper . . . [a] fast-moving, entertaining tale.”—Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

A gang of thieves stage a daring heist from a vault deep below Princeton University’s Firestone Library. Their loot is priceless, impossible to resist.

Mercer Mann is a young novelist with a severe case of writer’s block who has recently been laid off from her teaching position. She is approached by an elegant, mysterious woman working for an even more mysterious company. A generous monetary offer convinces Mercer to go undercover and infiltrate Cable’s circle of literary friends, to get close to the ringleader, to discover his secrets.

Camino Island. Awesome . Thanks

Camino Island. A wonderful read. A departure from is lawyer theme, but great.

A Fun Read. It has been a while since I have read this author. I was anticipating a bit more depth at a higher grade level of reading. Still a fun story with great development, but a rather quick finish. Good for high school age, but adult content prevents it from being a good read for young readers. Enjoy.

Camino Island. My first Grisham novel but will not be my last.

No mountain tops on Camino Island.. A pleasant read albeit one without any real adrenaline. Few surprises and little suspense along the way but a comfortable read. I miss the excitement of his earlier works.

Anticlimactic ending. Ending fell flat, bad guy wins, too simple for such an elaborately laid out narrative plot. Much left to be desired

Lifelike etc. Good characters and character building. Main story is very interesting and other stories were fit in neatly. Leaves some questions unanswered but yields overall satisfaction.

Camino Island. Always a good read, any of John Grisham's books. I am remembering my grandfather's interest in collecting certain books. I wondered why he chose some of his books. He was a history professor and although most were history related, not all. Now looking through some books left to me, I wonder if he was a collector of hopeful first editions. I loved the suspense of Mr. Grisham's story. Just enough romance. And large amounts of excitement--plus captivating knowledge of rare books by favorite authors to whet my appetite.

Solid Book. To me, this was a very solid book. Liked taking a break from court room dramas. I liked most of the characters and enjoyed reading.

What an entertaining story!!. Although most of John Grisham's novels are about lawyers, This was a pleasant surprise! He knows how to weave a tale. He knows how to put enough humor and suspense into his stories that you get so wrapped up in the characters you don't want the story to end!!!

Camino island. Terrible book,!!!!! Started ok but so wordy I found myself skipping pages the longer I read. Waste of money

Camino island. Camino Island lacks the spice of other John's books. It's a linear argument, with no surprises I'm a linear plot. No surprise, no spareIs the end, meaning that the linear argument wasps indeed linear

Camino Island. Not nearly as clever as previous works. Quite boring.

I love typical Grisham. Kinda cruel all of the real crooks got caught. At least someone made it out of the heat

Calico Island by John Grisham. Storytelling at its best! I’ve come to rely on Mr. Grisham’s knack for the beginning, the middle, and the end-and to keep me intrigued throughout more than 600 pages! Always a good read! Thoroughly enjoyed…

Sub par at best. As a fan I have always enjoyed Grisham’s books. This one was a huge disappointment. It took me over a year to read & I should’ve stopped while I had the chance. In my opinion, this was not a shining success.

Camino Island. I am a huge fan,JG. Your stories just keep getting better. Camino Island is a great read and beyond entertaining.

Just Terrible. Total waste of time.

Camino Island. Camino Island held me suspense the entire reading. This was real Grishman. Enjoyed it so much. Michael Doumit

Camino Winds. By far the least favorite of Grisham’s books!

Painfully slow. The story includes a lot of dialogue about what makes a book good. Given that, this book seems to mock the reader in that it is painfully slow and doesn't seem worth finishing. Very disappointing for Grisham.

Love Grisham...but not this one...sorry!. Good read until the end. It appeared that Grisham rushed to complete this novel. Too predictable.

Great author but.... Weakest ending imaginable! I have read many Grisham books before but they were completely riveting, this was more beach trash than a law drama. I liked the characters and the plot but the ending just was awful. Four stars for what could be and a nod to a great author!

A page turner. I enjoyed reading this book. A true page turner with great plot, strong cast, and exciting dialogues. I found it to be entertaining, fun and exciting read. Grisham delivered once again. Well done!

Not a page-turner. Meh, not much going on with this book. Kind of boring. Definitely not like the Grisham books I have loved in the past.

Engaging. The writing is very good. There were times when I felt that I was on that beach...

Don’t bother. J.G.. writes for old and insecure white men. Camino Winds is shallow. The characters are cheesy and predictable. The story is one long eye roll.

Camino Island. Very intriguing, but confusing with all the characters and their various names. Once I got half way into the book, I couldn’t put it down. In some ways there was no real closure to to the story; you’re left wondering what would happen eventually to the main characters. Maybe that’s Grisham’s style.

Easy fun read. 👍🏻

Too wordy. Don’t read this trash that he probably wrote in one afternoon with a beer in hand. Much too chatty, story really flat and far fetched, didn’t get a little interesting until the last few chapters. Mr Grisham lost it. He’s written manny far better then this one.

Played to type. Pleasant summer read but ultimately unsurprising. So many opportunities to mix it up and depart from the predictable.

Camino Island. Not really up to club standards. Illogical plots. Boring. Struggled through half and gave up.

Camino Island. Was far from Grisham s best writing. Actually I considered it a waste of money and time until the final chapter. The final chapter was interesting, but it took a long time getting there .

Great story!. Great story!

Builds up well, but disappoints at the end. The story is built up quite well. Makes you think there will be a surprising end. But in the end, leaves you wanting for more.

Easy read. Easy to read and interesting but it ended so abruptly, not much of a climax just a drop off the edge and gone.

The Beachcomber. As always love it. Read this one in 3 days!

Camino Island. Great book, and interesting and dynamic characters! I enjoyed this book a lot. Definitely recommend it.

Camino island. LOVED IT!!! In some cases I couldn't put it down!

Camino Island. Good book, very easy reading!

He phoned this one in. This book is terrible -slow weak and predictable. Won’t be reading the next one!

What a twist!. Every time I thought I knew the next move of the characters, something else would happen. Kept me interested the whole way, constantly trying to figure out if Mercer was gonna get him.

Camino Island. Definitely not Grisham’s best work. Forced myself to finish the book. I found the plodding story uninteresting and felt cheated by the quality of the story , no mystery, no nothing.

Fun read. I must not be as "deep" as some of the other reviewers because I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was a quick, engaging read.

Not what I hoped it would be. This story seems rushed and too contrived. I wonder if it was a deadline work under contract.

Easy read. Not a bad book at all. Enjoyed reading it. Got a little dry in the middle but overall solid book. Would recommend

Enjoyable. While not a literary classic like those portrayed in the book, this was wonderfully enjoyable. I always hate when this author’s books are done as I feel like I am losing friends that I have learned to care deeply for. Bruce quickly became a character I won’t soon forget.

A very good book. I loved the story and the characters. It was a great read.

Worst Grisham yet. Just awful, what a waste.

Another disappointment.. Just formula. Wasted hours of my time.

Camino Island. Good book! Reminded me of The a Rooster Bar. I'm looking forward to Camino Winds, which I just started.

Nice read. It’s nice to read words from a professional. I enjoyed the characters and the plot and the ending. That being said sometimes the descriptions and narrative we’re too much. As they say sometimes just give me the facts. But all in all I am happy with the purchase

Camino island. Terrible.Boring.Junk.

Casino Island. Absolutely fascinating. The early chapters of tremendous interest by the author's immense imagination were followed by a short period of questioning. But following chapters offered a captivating suspense followed by the best ending that y read in years.
