Overall potential, just needs a better editor. I’ve read all 4 books, the story line was very intriguing to me so I said why not, but there are a lot of errors. Spelling and grammar errors throughout and I am still confused as to what Celia’s real last name is. Is it Franklin or Parker? I would recommend having someone go through your books and edit them a bit more before publishing the. Besides those details I thought the books had a lot of potential with the whole mafia thing going. I really like how in between different parts of the story it would cut back to different times to give a pretense then later bring it back into the story.

Just an introduction to the series.... This is literally just a short story to set the scene for book #2 (which should’ve been book #1).

Good story - bad editing. I’m enjoying the story line, however the editing mishaps are just too many to ignore. I’m not even referring to grammar errors; on multiple occasions the character’s names were mixed up, it made reading it very confusing. If you need someone to read thru your books before they get posted/published, I would be happy to do that for you.

Hooked me in!. From the start, this book had my attention. The plot was subtly different from what I was expecting and the characters seem to come alive on the pages. S. E. Lund has done a fantastic job on this series and I am in awe of her talent to transport me into a world a the mafia and the struggle to find love in the midst of chaos.

No.. I regret reading as far as I did (which is most of the part) Horrible writing and the controlling step father? So annoying. There was a part where I thought, oh FINALLY this might being to improve, but no. Save your time and energy, this is truly a worst.

Awesome!!!. WOW! I was caught off guard by the awesomeness of this book. This is part one of a series and it features Celia Franklin and Hunter Saint. The history between these two and even their families is deep and emotional. Their young relationship was over before it ever got started. I know Graham and Celia had their reasons for cutting ties with Hunter but that didn't make it hurt any less. I don't care for Graham for what he did when they were younger and the careless things he did as an adult. He may not be a bad person but his decisions leave little to be desired. I am LOVING this story and I can't wait for part two.

Overpriced. The series of books could have been one book, but it would be boring as things are just recapped throughout. Not much really happens, the story lacks and characters boring. As for the price £2.49 for each book to then at the end of the four (£9.96) to be available for £5. I sadly won't read another from this author.

Ok story. I did like enjoy what this book was about. However the book contained more chapters about what happened in the past than present times and therefore you’d have to continue reading the other books to probably get to present times. The chapters which involved the “past” were often boring and I had lost interest as I felt like they dragged on for too long

Great start. The start of the book is great and I really want to find out the rest. HATE when authors split up a book into parts. Just make it one whole book, it's super annoying.
