The title fits perfectly.. There are a few scenes that seem a bit exaggerated, however a really good read. Hard to put down, the characters are lifelike. Go Jade.

Unrealistic. It’s a pretty good read except for the main character......she is an FBI agent that doesn’t follow the rules which puts other people lives at risk......she should be fired and there wouldn’t be any other stories.

A must-read nail biter!. A great read and hard to put down! A great plot with lots of twists and turns, and a tough heroine. Jade Monroe is a force unto herself, quick-witted and strong. Don’t miss this one!

Snapped. Jade Monroe is a true hero in fast forward mode. I enjoyed the fast paced intrigue and creative ways the murderer found to end lives deemed unnecessary.

Unrealistic. There are flaws throughout this book, admittedly mostly minor flaws, that is until the ending which is simply unrealistic. Without giving too much away a junior FBI agent simply wouldn’t be allowed to a) take control of the operation and b) wouldn’t behave so recklessly.

snapped. I suffer from ms and can't usually concentrate too long on a book but I just couldn't put this book down even with the pain

A gripping story from start to finish!. This book had me enthralled from the start to the end. The amount of palpable tension created was amazing. Very highly recommended! Can't wait to read another one!

Snapped. I have just read the first book in the Agent Jade Monroes stories by C.M. Sutter. This book kept me turning the pages late into the night to finish it. A great read and look forward to reading the rest of them.

Writing style. I agree with the other reviewer that the writing style is not very sophisticated. I found the story didn’t flow freely but I stil finished Maniacal (her first book) quite easily once I got used to it.

Uncomfortable writing style. This book is very hard to read due to the strange writing style of the author - lots of unnecessary detail in the wrong spots - I am unable to finish it because it flows so badly.
