There is no mistaking that this author knows how to write a romance. I always enjoy any read by Vi Keeland, because not only is it entertaining, but it includes all the elements of a great romantic read: witty, gorgeous, relatable dimensional characters, sexy, and always a subtle or maybe not so subtle twist that make you step back and say, OH! Beautiful Mistake had all of these elements, making for another great story from Vi.

Such a touching story!. Such a touching story! I absolutely loved this book. Heck, I love ANYTHING that Vi creates. But this story was amazing on so many levels. I really liked Rachel. Talk about sassy. But even with her interesting character traits, she had a very rough past that really had me rooting for her to find her happy ending. Caine was perfect. I loved how he didn't take any guff from Rachel and how he tried his best to follow his moral compass, even when it tore him up inside. The story had a really cool twist to it that I won't spoil. Little clues were dropped throughout the story as to what the twist was, and I was so happy with the end result! All in all, this is exactly the caliber of story that I've come to expect from Vi, and it's yet another reminder of why will read ANYTHING she writes! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

Loved this book. If you haven’t read any books by this author, this is your cue to start now. The writing is flawless and you’re right there in the story with the characters. That’s how her writing makes you feel.

Lord Jesus Help My Heart!!!. Long story short, I watch a lot of movies and I read a lot of books, that being said, I have been gifted (practice makes perfect) the sixth sense of accurate ”plot guessing”... Even though I figured out the twist early on, I still cried like a baby when I finished the book.. I mean day-good-gah just take my heart and slap it silly! I recommend this book if, when you’re finished, you want to just smile with satisfaction.

Full circle.... A story of love that has come full circle in more ways than one. Vi (author) leaves you with no choice but to believe in true love!

Mistakes Aren't All Bad. "Beautiful Mistake" is a romance for the ages with a plot that alternates between the present and fifteen years earlier. When grad student Rachel Martin mistakes a man in a bar for her best friend's cheating former boyfriend, she delivers a blistering put-down that should've had him cringing in shame. Turns out the guy on the receiving end of her tirade isn't the lying cheater. Oops! A case of mistaken identity. Apology made and accepted. The following day Rachel is dreading her assignment as teaching assistant to Professor Caine West, who's known as something of an ogre who doesn't tolerate tardiness. Running late as usual, Rachel's chagrin is multiplied when the professor turns out to be the recipient of her verbal attack of the previous night. This time, a whopping Oops! But her feisty nature prevails and their tenuous relationship settles into a comfortable sparring friendship that quickly turns into a sexual attraction that can't be denied. What follows should leave scorch marks and burnt edges on the pages. Told from a dual POV, alternating between the present and the past, Vi Keeland knows how to bring her characters to life and pull her readers into the story to get them invested in the outcome. There's no disputing Ms Keeland's talent as a story teller, but a good copy editor should catch the redundancies and fluffy prose as well as the typos. That said, I can see the progress she's made as a writer and am looking forward to seeing more from her.

Full Circle.... Books coming go. Authors write good stories; sometimes they are not so good. You have cheesy, Insta love and Novellas. They pass the time. They give you an outlet. They are a hobby. But every once in a while one comes along and it truly means something. This is one of them. It's been along time since I have been moved by an author's work. This is an absolutely gift read. This was a true test of faith and a major wonder of forgiveness. The journey and significance of the path both Rachel and Cain made came from a divine intervention. There is no such thing as a coincidence. Things happen for reason (reasons only have meaning to the giver/receiver). Along the way I lost my faith but something happened to me to restore it. I believe the answer is always there you just need to have faith that you'll find it. This is a wonderful love story. I can write how good the intimate scenes were. Or how much Cain was a jerk. Or even that Rachel could be juvenile at times. None of that matters. It was just bricks that pave the road towards the ultimate journey. They found themselves. They found forgiveness. They found love. I can't imagine how how long it took to write this. The significance of the tattoo was amazing. I think the pennies got to me the most. I believe that's where I cried the hardest. I did enjoy this book but it was so much more than a great read. Rachel's letter really put things into perspective. It's amazing how things come full circle. I highly recommend. Thanks for the inspiration. It's just what I needed today.

Holy Sexy Professor!!. This might just be my absolute favorite Vi Keeland book so far...I am SO in-love with Caine and Rachel ❤️ This Book had me on the edge of my seat, my heart in my throat, laughing out loud, tears rolling down my face, heart breaking and my heart so, so full of love. The emotions this book pulled from my heart were absolutely breathtaking...I've read so many incredible books this year and this one is one of the BEST!

BORING….. First, I would like to say I’ve loved every book I’ve read from Vi Keeland, I would finish her books in less then 2 days. But I have to say this storyline is very boring. Caine and Rachel have no chemistry and I found myself reading the same paragraph 3-4 times because I would find myself falling asleep to it. I wouldn’t recommend wasting money on purchasing this book.

Beautiful Story. This is a Beautiful Book with a sweet and hot love story. The Mistake, well that one was mine hahaha I started to read it after eleven at night so I didn't get any sleep.

A very clever and sexy story!. I loved it!!! It was erotically sexy and had a love story all in one!!!

Unforgettable!. This story was more than your traditional student/teacher romp fest. This story had edge, and spirit, and it packed a little bit of a bite. Caine and Rachel were fated for each other. I wish I could tell you all the reasons why, but I refuse to spoil this amazing book for all of you. Just know this— Their chemistry is INSANE! Even when they aren’t trying, they pack on the heat. That’s not all though. They also keep each other grounded, and provide each other with whatever missing piece they’re currently missing. I loved this couple so much. That’s not all, the support characters where amazing too! Charlie is totally my favorite. This story hits some dark, and deep, notes, and the angst is thick. You gets to really feel these characters out, and see them thrive despite pasts that were meant to tear them down. This book has all the feels, and it’s wonderful in every way. I loved this book, and I’m so excited to recommend it to every romance reader I know. You should ABSOLUTELY read this dang book!

One of the best books I’ve read!. This is such a great story! It make me laugh and cry. All of Vi Keeland’s books are great, but this is my favorite. It’s a unique story line and so well done.

Beautiful mistake. Wow this book was so good. I really liked the fact that the male character didn’t have a previous relationship that left a mark. This book def had me in my feelings. I felt that Rachel was a little dramatic in some parts but I could look past it due to her childhood. That end was so beautiful. Def recommend reading this book

Easy Read. Easy read on forgiveness and overcoming the past. The passion between the characters was good. The professor-student relationship just adds to the fire between the two. Nothing drawn out easy to follow and imagine.

5 read me stars. Read me right now.. This book. First, this is the 1st book of Vi Keenland’s that I’ve ever read. I hope my hubs has an iTunes card loaded. about to buy buy buy. Secondly, I downloaded this story a couple months back. It sounded cute Girl curses out a guy that hurt her friend. Oops wrong guy... Reports to work Monday, oops non arsehole guy that didn’t hurt your friend, that you cursed out, yeah he’s your new boss And finally, The writing by style was great. Witty. Funny. But oh the feels. Not going to explain this but there’s a heavier story line than the blurb implies. Read it. It’s sooooo great. Hot hot hot. When it finally gets hot, there’s a slow burn for first 40% of book. But it worked. I legit loved both these characters and think Caine may just be one of a kind. Highly. Highly recommend

Fate - Definitely, Feisty- Definitely. I loved VI's story about Caine and Rachel. This story made me cry, laugh and believe in destiny or fate. It is touching on so many levels. You just need to read to experience these characters, their relationship, and the characters in their lives that play such important parts of who Rachel and Caine were and who they become. Did I mention it is also sexy, because it most definitely is! Enjoy!

Love this book!. I can’t even begin to share how much this book touched me. It was heartbreaking, joyful, and amazingly hopeful. I was so involved in this book that I was late getting to work because I lost track of time! It’s a great read and well worth the time you invest in it!

Wonderfully unique story!. The story is original and the love that comes out of it is organic. Vi has a talent that lets her tell a story with meaning and substance. The love and romance is the organic product of the story , not forced or cookie cutter stamped at appropriate moments. A true story teller as the ancient people of the world looked to, to tell a story that made you think, feel and ponder. To grow emotionally by the experience from spending a sliver of time in someone else's life be it imagined or not.

Full of heart. Lots of banter and lots of heat but most of all there is a lot of heart between these two. A jourey of self disovery and Angels sent to us. Great read!

Author doesn't know anything about New York. I wish the author researched the NYC lifestyle more. I'm a New Yorker, and people don't drive back and fourth between Brooklyn and Manhattan like that. Especially someone who is 25 and a bartender/waitress in Midtown Manhattan. Why would you work in midtown, live in Brooklyn, and also go to Brooklyn college which is deep Brooklyn. Based off of Rachel's lifestyle, she would have paid over 1k a month in just parking, if not more. She should have used another city for this book. The inaccuracies annoyed me so much.

Read this book. I have read almost all of VI’s entire collection. This is one of her most developed stories and I couldn’t put it down. I was surprised because this didn’t have a ton of ratings. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this one because of the teacher student storyline, but man am I glad I kept reading. It was by far either the best, or second best book in her collection. The storyline, character development, and plot timing was impactful and heartwarming. A great read.

Disappointment. I really like this author and was excited to see she had a new book out, but halfway into the book I wanted my money back. Just plain disappointed.

Funny and Interesting. Beautiful Mistake is a very entertaining book! The beginning of the book and how Rachel and Caine meet is super funny. Their relationship is filled with banter and flirting, neither knowing what they really want from each other. At first I thought it was a little like Bossman with Caine's storyline, but as more and more happened it became much different and unique. I didn't always like having to wait to find out Rachel and Caine's secrets, but it definitely kept me guessing and wanting to know what actually happened in their pasts. I liked that we did get some present tense Caine chapters after a while, I still would have liked some more, but I enjoyed what we got from him. Their story and history is very unique. It's sad yet special. I really like how everything connected and ended up playing out. The epilogue was cute, I just wish it could have been longer.

Beautifully written. Loved the characters, but the storyline was incredible....how the author thought of this one so different to most I have read, is incredible. Written so well, you were not sure where it was going. Sexy and funny, but oh so romantic.

Must Read. It's hard to say something about Beautiful Mistake that hasn't already been said, once again Vi Keeland has given us new characters to fall in love with. Beautiful Mistake is a standalone book featuring Caine and Rachel, it's their journey and it's a journey that's not all sweetness and light, Caine and Rachel have many ups and downs to cross before they get their HEA. This book is a love story that will draw you in and pull on your heartstrings, it will have you sitting on the edge of your seat with plenty of twists that you don't see coming. This book has it all happiness, heartbreak, sadness and plenty of frustration but by the end I'm sure you will saying as I was this is Vi Keeland at her best, this is a must read !!!!

Never disappointed. I can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with any book written by Vi Keeland (this includes her co-written books with Penelope Ward). Her books are entertaining and sexy and emotional and I love reading them.

Caine & Rachel. The intricacy woven in this story was incredible - another great story by this wonderful author. The way in which Caine and Rachel are tied to one another is amazing. Such history and finding each other again after all those years, incredible. Enjoyed the banter between the two of them and what explosive chemistry. I loved that the story began with them being in the present right away, instead of a drawn out introduction. Highly recommend this read.
