Whiskey Reveals by Carrie Ann Ryan Book Summary

It was only supposed to be a one-night stand. Fox Collins never meant to fall in love with the passing stranger, Melody Waters, and sure didn’t mean to fall into bed. But when she’s gone the next morning, he tells himself it’s for the best. It doesn’t matter that she haunts his dreams and the fire between them burned hotter than anything he’s ever touched before. Only Melody finds herself new in town, needing a refuge and a home after running for far too long. Not to mention, she needs to find Fox. Because it seems that the past she fought to run from not only has caught up to her, but the best night of her life had far more consequences than either of them counted on.

Love this series!!!. Another Collins brother to steal your heart, and he definitely does (while juggling lol). He’s dreamy, talented, and let’s not forget hot. This time it’s Fox, writer extraordinaire who has a huge heart and a lot of sexiness, along with a side of rambling. We also have Melody, beautiful and talented, if not a little gun shy when it comes to people. But just like us, she has a hard time resisting Fox’s charm. Add in a little mystery and you’ve got another awesome Carrie Ann Ryan book. You definitely need to read this! Can’t wait for the next one in the series!!

Good story, but Fox is still second to Dare!. Whiskey Reveals is Fox and Melody’s story. Melody is granddaughter of the mysterious Ms Pearl. She and Fox meet at Dare’s bar and have a one time fling. Fast Forward 3 months, Fox is writing an editorial on the infamous Ms Pearl and runs into Melody again. The two try to be just friends, but with these two, there’s too much steam to be friends. I enjoyed this story, but I think I still like Dare/Kenzie’s better.

Another great read. I received an ARC for an honest review. Carrie Ann Ryan is one of my favorite authors. In book two of her Whiskey and Lies series, we get to see Fox and Melody fall in love. They were great couple that had a smoking, hot connection. This book contained some of my favorite themes. I won’t share them because I hate spoilers. This is another winner that you must read. I can’t wait for Loch and Ainsey!

Bonded over whiskey.. While I love the Montgomery Ink World and enjoyed this Whiskey & Lies installment, this book took some twists and turns that were a little hard to follow. Fox and Melody are a great couple that got their beginning over whiskey (obviously) and a one night stand. As usual this generation of the Collins family is fantastic and having the bar/inn as the focal point of the story was good.

Whiskey Reveals. Whiskey Reveals is the 2nd book in the Whiskey & Lies series (Spin-off from Montgomery Ink). Fox is the youngest brother in the Collins family and he's closest in age to their little sister Tabby (Ink Exposed). Fox is also the least athletic of the bunch and more inclined to be reading or writing. Thankfully he's never been criticized from him family for being more creative than the rest. Fox himself admits that even for being a writer he doesn't quite fit in to that typeset either, but he's just gruff enough to fit right in with his brothers. He's not quite as ruff as Loch, and I don't think the town of Whiskey would be able to handle it if he was (one is enough lol). Melody is trying to find her way, and is trying to find new start in Whiskey. It doesn't start off quite as smoothly as she hoped, her first night in her new town she meets Fox at his brother's bar and ends up with an awkward one night stand. As they bump into each other in the small tourist town often she realizes that its best to become friends if she wants the awkward to go away, but it quickly turns into more than friends. I loved these characters. They are so great together, her nervous rambling is so cute, and he just jumps on the train and joins her in his own little rants. I love that hes different from his brothers but embraces it, other times when you see that in a character it leads to that character being very uncomfortable in their own skin, but Fox just doesn't really let it get to him. Yes he feel a bit self conscious as the reader knows because its brought up once or twice but he doesn't let it become a chip on his shoulder . He does what he can to keep up with the rest of the family but doesn't try to over compensate. As far as Melody you can see where she gets her grit and spitfire personality from. Her grandmother has such a strong personality it would have been easy to drown in that, instead she shines just as bright. Love, Love, Love, can't wait for Book 3.

Amazing. Whiskey Reveals the 2nd book in Carrie Ann Ryan’s Whiskey and Lies Series was amazing! Fox and Melody have a one night stand and reconnect a few months later. The book was well written and the chemistry was off the hook. Love this author and and another great series!!

Loved Fox!!! Great Series!!. This is the second book in the Collins brothers series. This is Fox’s story he is the youngest out of the three brothers but still older than the baby of the family Tabby from Montgomery Ink Series. The family is all close and loving it’s a wonderful. Even though everything is going great for Fox and his family, Fox feels like something or someone is missing. Fox can’t get a certain blonde outta his mind it was a one night stand that involved one to many shots of whiskey that night. Melody has just moved to the small town of Whiskey to start a new life and to live with her grandma Ms. Pearl and help her anyway she can but small towns nothing stays secret for long. Melody had hoped to stay under the radar but one evening as she grabs take out from the bar owned by Fox’s brother Dare she runs into the one person she’d hoped to avoid Fox. He’s the one night stand she’d hoped to forget but after seeing him the feelings toward him blossom instead of dying off and she’ll fight her hardest to deny them and him or anything they could have. Overall I loved Fox and Melody! Something about Fox just draws you in and can’t help but love him! This is a wonderful read and the storyline is amazing! Can’t wait to read more books in the series.

Whiskey Love!!. Have you ever had a group of friends that you love hanging out with? No matter what they're always up for a good time. Well, Carrie Ann Ryan delivers new friends mixed with old friends in her newest book Whiskey Reveals. This is the 2nd book in her Whiskey & Lies series (and if you haven't read the 1st book Whiskey Secrest...get that puppy NOW!) about the 2nd Collins brother Fox. Fox Collins is the laid-back brother. The one that goes with the flow, that always has a ready laugh but he's more interested in writing stories for his newspaper than dating or falling in love like his siblings. Melody Waters moves to Whiskey to get a fresh start. Most of her life has centered around dancing and she is now making her dream of opening her own dance studio a reality. She doesn't have time for romance. But a night of whiskey with a stranger may have both Fox and Melody changing their tune. Carrie Ann Ryan wows us again with her witty writing and fun loving characters. The small town of Whiskey is nothing short of endearing. The story does have a touch of mystery/suspense which will keep you turning page after page. Carrie Ann does an amazing job of intertwining everyday problems with her fabulous characters that make them all the more real. This book was entertaining, heartfelt and a joy to read. I look forward to the next book about the last Collins brother!

Fantastic story. I loved this story! It was great to get Fox's story! He loves his family but he feels a little bit like the odd one out for multiple reasons. Melody has just moved to town to open up a dance studio and to try and start her life. She has had a hard few years and is taking the opportunity to move in with her Grandma to help her out and find her place. Fox and Melody had a one night stand a few months prior, before she moved back for good. Neither one was expecting what they found. Fox hasn't been able to stop thinking about her but when they reconnect she isn't looking for something serious, or at all. I loved how the story flowed through the book and we get to see them build a relationship and friendship. They get thrown a few curve balls that have to be dealt with but it also pushes them in the right direction. There's some intrigue in this story. The sex is explicit but not very frequent. It fits both the story and the characters. While there isn't a lot of action, this story does pull in you and hold your attention from beginning to end. Once I started reading it, I didn't want to put it down. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Too many Whiskey shots, one sweet romance!. After a night of whiskey shots and lots of chemistry Melody and Fox had the best night of their lives. Three months later they find each other but Melody doesn’t want a relationship. It’s a pretty sweet story since Fox is a sweet guy with his own sexy side. Melody is turning over a leaf and decided Whiskey would be where she put down roots. There’s a little suspense with someone stalking Melody and her own secrets from the past. Fox is a steady rock by her side though even when she sent him to the friend zone. Lovely book on the Whiskey series! I can not wait for Loch’s story...

Loved it. Oh my goodness what can I say about this book? Besides I absolutely loved it. Fox and melody were awesome together. Can not wait for more. I have never been disappointed with any of her books and I know I never will.

Head back to Whiskey with Fox!!. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book. We are back in Whiskey with the Collins’, this time it’s youngest of the brothers turn. Fox Collins, hot owner and editor of the town newspaper the Whiskey Chronicles. Ladies this man is the total package; smart, funny, a business owner, and did I mention he is hot!!! Melody Waters Whiskey’s is newest resident and she may have met Fox a few months before moving to town and they shared one hot night together. She has moved to town for two reasons, to help her aging grandmother and to start a new chapter in her life by becoming a business and owner herself. I love being back with the Colllins clan, seeing the family is great. Fox really is into Melody and she is into him, but all she thinks she can afford to be right now is friends. She also doesn’t think she deserves more because of her past, a past that she really doesn’t want to explain just yet. Seeing these two characters building their relationship is so sweet. I adore Melody’s grandmother, with whom Fox is interviews for a article in the paper. She has done so much in her life and is one of the town’s most notorious residents. LOL!!! Of course it wouldn’t be a Carrie Ann Ryan story if she didn’t give us a little mystery and boy does she give us a big one in the form of a stalker, someone from her past is out to get Melody. Ryan has done it once again writing a witty, heartwarming love story full of family, fun, a strong woman and man, with a dash of mystery. I can’t wait for more from the Collins family!!!

Another Great Book in the Series. Whiskey Reveals is the second book in this series. Carrie Ann Ryan has a way of making each book a stand alone, however, it is a richer read if you start with the first book in the series. I find some characteristic in each character than I can identify with which makes the book and the choices they make more personal. Whiskey Reveals has a story that is so good and so relevant that you jut can’t put it down. This writer is truly talented and one of only a few one click authors for me. If you like books that are rich in content and storyline and really grabs your heart, pick up this book!!

An enjoyable read!. I enjoyed this book. While Fox may not have been as “alpha” as some other book heroes, he was still strong and passionate. Melody is s woman who has made some mistakes, but ready to move on with a fresh start. The two of them try to keep romance at bay and be friends, to no avail. I also enjoyed the family dynamics. Fox’s family is loyal and supportive, while Miss Pearl is a hoot. The sex scenes were hot & the romance is fulfilling. I’m looking forward to the next book.

Sweet and Sexy. Fox won me over from his first appearance on the page. He’s a dedicated, hard-working and extremely loyal man. He’s got those alpha tendencies that I tend to love in my heroes, but he also knows how to be a gentle, caring and extremely sensual man. I also can’t forget mention that Fox is pretty high up on my hotness scale. Fox’s personality and attitude make him a very like man. Melody has talent, drive and a touch of sass that puts her in a class that’s all her own. She starting a new chapter of her life, in a small town while still trying to heal from the consequences of bad choices. Melody has those dreamer tendencies and a caring nature that make her the wonderful person she is. Whiskey may have been the catalyst, but chemistry and connection always get you in the end. Fox and Melody shared night of whiskey fueled passion that left way more than a hangover the next morning. Leaving two people with a longing of something or should I say someone more in their lives. Fox and Melody dance around the feelings they share giving readers a sweet, sensual tale of love that heats up pretty quickly. Whiskey Reveals is low on the drama and all about the feels. I really enjoyed the connection between Melody and Fox. The way that Melody revealed her secrets and the way Fox receives and reacts is worth the story alone. Whiskey Reveals is entertaining, sweet and hot. The perfect combination in a romance.

Loves this Family. What to do with a one night stand that you can't forget? You fall for them!!! This is a great story that has all the earmarks of doing everything backwards. Melody and Fox came together in a haze of whiskey however 3 months later still can't forget that night. You will loves these two apart and together. They are awkward at times however they were meant to be together!!!! Love the Collins family!!!

Whiskey Reveals. Fox is my favorite from this series. He just has diarrhea of the mouth. What ever he is thinking just comes out. He is so cute!!!

SO GOOD!. So I have an extensive background with Carrie Ann's books. I've been working may way through her works and I've read an insane amount of her books. BUT I think, so far, this is one of my favorites yet! Fox and Melody have such a complicated relationship that it made this book so much fun! I couldn't wait to see what was/or wasn't going to happen next! Then you bring in their families and BOOM we have MAGIC! The Collins brothers have a really close family, that alone brings drama and crazy things. Then, when we add in Melody's grandma, it just makes things even better! I love how this is a small town and really a small town romance. A part from Fox and Melody's families, I think a lot of the reason I loved this so much was their individual characters. Fox being a writer, of course, makes him so interesting to me as a blogger and avid reader. I think his character has such a finesse about him, much like Griffin did in Written in Ink, because he's a writer. It's almost as if his thoughts describe more, but that could just be Carrie Ann being super creative! But along those same likes I love Melody. I love how skittish she is, but determined to live her life. Really I just love these two! With the addition of some CRAZY twists and turns this was such an awesome read. I truly loved every second. There wasn't a point where I thought I needed to get past this part, or thinking it needed to move along. The pace was great, the story line was great and the character development was amazing. After reading this, I CANNOT wait for Loch's book!!!

A fantastic must read!!. This book was fantastic!!! It drew me in from the start, and kept me sucked in til the very last sentence. I love the career path that the author put Melody on. Dancing isn’t a career you see many heroines in, so it was a nice change! Add in the fact she was starting her own business, it makes her kinda kick butt. I loved Fox. He was perfect for her! There weren’t headgames being played, and he never withheld how much she meant to him. The suspense in this book was perfect, and had me on the edge of my seat at times. I would definitely recommend one clicking this fantastic read!!!

A Very Enjoyable Book. I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. I really enjoyed reading “Whiskey Reveals” by Carrie Ann Ryan. It is a really engaging, well written book that flowed brilliantly from chapter to chapter, the great storyline kept me engrossed till the end. The lovely, interesting characters have great chemistry and interaction that pulled me into their story, they were really great to read about. This is an Entertaining, Romantic Must Read Book that was Engaging and I enjoyed reading it.

Absolutely love this author, can write any genre. Book two of the Whiskey and Lies series a spin off to the Montgomery series by Carrie Ann Ryan. We meet Fox in last book the younger Collins that own the local newspaper. Melody comes into town to see Ms Pearl her grandmother and they have one too many Whiskey shots. Fast forward three months and melody is settling in Whiskey only to find Fox is a local and everyone is in each other’s business. I really like that even with tragic history Melody is a strong independent woman that even though likes Fox a lot wants to start her new business off on her own. My only pet hate is the excessive winking but that’s just me. Really like that this family isn’t too traditional and predictable love this writer and her HEA series

A great read. Book 2 of the whiskey and lies series by carry Ann Ryan. A great piece of writing as we see the next brother fall for someone. Melody is back in whiskey to live with her grandma and open a dance studio whilst hoping she doesn’t run into Fox after their one night together three months ago. Whilst setting up her studio strange things start to appear that get increasingly morbid. All through this she is trying to find her way with Fox after a short stay in hospital reveals the real reason for her fainting. A song from her past and a near miss from a car makes her realise that her past has come to get her. Will the person from her past finish the job? Can Fox and Melody make a go of a relationship? My heart was in my mouth and I couldn’t read the book fast enough to find out who was terrorising her. A great read from start to finish and I can’t wait for Loch’s book.

Fox & Melody - Will their one night stand lead to more?. This is book two in this series and it shows Carrie Ann Ryan at her best. This book is about Fox and Melody, he’s a journalist and she’s a dancer but they manage to find some common ground when they meet one night after partaking of one too many glasses of Whiskey, enough to loosen their inhibitions but not enough to incapacitate. They spent an incredible night together, for Fox that night with Melody was incredible, but then she was gone. He an’t stop thinking and dreaming about her. Skip forward three months and Melody is back and what’s more, she’s going to make Whiskey her home. Will Fox and her work out? Well their chemistry is fantastic and their interactions are fun and they are drawn to each other so……. This book has a beautiful storyline, which is well thought out it’s about th past, the present and the future, will it lead to an HEA - I’m not saying buy this book and enjoy it for yourself. This review is written voluntarily after reading an ARC

Amazing second instalment in the Whiskey and Lies series. Review This second instalment in the Whiskey and Lies series (a spin-off from the fabulous Montgomery Ink series) just keeps getting better and better. The excitement, tension and romance was palpable, gripping and heartwarming all at once. The town of Whiskey gets under your skin and you feel invested in all her inhabitants, from Fox and Melody to the beloved Ms Pearl. I am a big fan of Carrie Ann Ryan’s books, and this new adventure does not disappoint, it has charm, intrigue, hope and desire; and I cannot wait for the third instalment and Lich and Ainsley’s story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Whiskey Reveals. I loved reading Melody and Fox's story. There are lots of emotions in this book. There is humour and love and just enough suspense to keep you reading. There are misunderstandings and there are lots of family moments. Ms Pearl is a gem of a character, I think she is my favourite, but all of the Collins boys are dreamy. This is another great series by Carrie Ann Ryan.

Spectacular Book !!!. Carrie Ann what a spectacular book. I have given you five stars but I want to give you ten. Fox and Melody had a one night stand three months ago when she came to visit her grandmother. Fox is the owner of the newspaper and he has been asked by Ms Pearl to interview her. Melody was a ballet dancer and has come to Whiskey to open up her dance studio. There are no keeping secrets in Whiskey as everyone knows everything about the other. This is exceptional book and would recommend this read.
