great book!. this book is a fun quick read. also free! read it!

Excellent but gruesome. This collection of murderers turned my stomach more than usual. It is filled with the worst sick people. Some you feel bad for but always feel worse for their victims.

Great book. This book went into some great detail on the minds of these people. I wouldn’t record the book for ages under 15 as though it can be very gruesome in some parts.

Short and to the point. The book was a short one. I liked how the author got right to the facts and explored killers from around the world. But I didn’t like the conclusion. It sounded like something a high schooler would have written for their literature paper. Overall it was alright for a quick read.

Interesting topic, badly written.. A quick read, with attractive topic that could draw interested readers to this book. But, heaven forbid, don't get fooled. This book appears to be written and edited by a bunch of middle schoolers. Basic structures and vocabularies are all fit to be at primary school level. A waste of time and energy.

It was… fine. Book contained interesting information - I’ll give it that. However the punctuation, and lack thereof, made it fairly difficult to follow. The run on sentences and incorrect insertion of commas leads me to believe the author and whoever edited this book did not know/care about the final outcome. The format of each individual case was different throughout the book. Again, the information was interesting… but the delivery was seriously lacking.

Great book.. This is a great book, but could have been longer detailed. Very gruesome too.

Grammar is too distracting. Would’ve been somewhat of an alright read had the grammar been much, much better. Way too many commas, run ons, just all over the place. It read like a majority (probably all) of the information was taken off Wikipedia and made into a “book.” Couldn’t even finish the entire thing.

Serial Killers, True Crime.. I enjoyed it, even though that’s not the right word . After all it is a book with quite a focus on feasting on human flesh. As a pointer, the author tells us that human flesh is not really much good when you’re hungry, because it doesn’t provide carbohydrate which is what gives us energy. So now you know! If you are at all squeamish this is not the book for.you. It’s not so much the original murders as it is the disposals of the bodies I would have liked more depth, more detail, although I realise it would be fiction. But surely there’s a bit of local colour, or an old story-maybe something sinister about the mountain range that could have brought the characters, the victims n their perpetrators more to life for us. On the other hand, maybe not. They’ve already been eaten.

Sickening. The subtitle of this book is accurate. I read this book as a comparison to an excellent true crime book by Brian Masters. This book does not measure up; it is full of sensationalism and graphic details. The title says ‘true crimes’ but there is nothing in the book to support this - it could be sick fiction. Overall, this book reads like a plagiarised University essay aimed at shocking the marker and devoid of all references. Mark: F.
