Enthralling. It took me a little bit to get into the book, but after I did, I was mesmerized. Perhaps it's because I practice an entirely different kind of law or perhaps because it was simply an exceptionally well written and engaging book. Totally unpredictable and it really made me think about attorneys and clients and the repercussions therefrom. Fantastic read!

Book won't open. I paid $9.99 and downloaded this book but it wont open on my iPad. I am very disappointed that I spent my money for nothing. What can I do to get a working copy of this book?

Best book I have read this year!. If In had to pick a book to read for the rest of my life it would be this one. The characters are flawed, realistic and they have a great sense of humor. Mickey is a lawyer you want to win every case that comes this way. Cannot wait for next book!

Fun story. Great and fun story to read! Not the most well written, but still enjoyable!

Great read. I am not much of a big reader. I found this story to be great. Very informational in the way he talks about defense cases and all around great info. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys legal thrillers. Again, 5 stars!!!

Fantastic Legal Thriller. Michael Connelly does it again! This time with a new character different from Bosch but still very enjoyable in a lived in world. There are twists and turns and just when you think you’ve figured it out here comes another twist!

Lincoln lawyer. This is a great book one never knows what's coming up next. The end is excellent and very unexpected. Can't wait for the movie version I would buy and read this book again.

Really good. It didn't grab me when I first started reading it. Boy, am I happy that I continued to read it. I am now a big fan of Mickey and I'm just about to purchase the 2nd book in a hopefully long series (The Fifth Witness).

Awesome book. This is gonna be a great movie!

Great Read!. The dialogue and pace that Connelly gives Mickey and the plot are incredible. You won't be able to stop reading once you start! But better yet is the humanity and soul he gives to a questionable character like Mickey Haller. The humanity makes you think after you put it down and want for more.

Book not complete.. Wish Apple would print the whole book, like I payed for the entire book, stopped at middle of chapter 45. What’s up Apple?

Enjoyable. It was an enjoyable read, nothing special. I read the paper version (on sale at the grocery for $2) so i cant comment on any digital formatting, but it was a fun read, and a good story.

The Lincoln Lawyer. I loved this book and could not put it down. Read the whole thing in just 2 days. It is fun to think about the movie stars that will be playing these roles as you read. I also liked the surprises along the way. The tough part now is finding another page-turner to read next.

The Lincoln Lawyer. As someone who's new to Connelly's writing, I found the book surprisingly very good read! The author weaves a great plot and made all his characters believable.

Loved it!!. This is the first book I have read from Michael Connelly. I bought it because the movie looked great and i love reading the book before seeing the movie. I am hooked!! I will be starting a new collection!! I could not put this book down. Definitely a must read.

One of Connelly's best. As good as the Harry Bosch books are, Connelly is often at his best when stepping away from the character. This book is no exception. He really hit this one out of the park. It's no wonder this book went on to inspire a new series.

Amazing. I'm 14 and I started reading this book a little tricky and confusing but that's probably my age but anywase this book so far is amazing I stayed up tell 4:30 reading this book and I absolutely love it I like the suspense and how the question pops in ur head what's going to happen next
