Jack Reacher. I just love Jack Reacher! My kind of hero......I shall read them all!

Awful!!!!!. The most implausible story I have ever read! The earlier Reacher books were very good. This story line sucked, it portrayed the FBI as very crooked and corrupt. The tool used to make the victims kill themselves was the most stupid I've ever heard. Pass the Reacher by, and save your money!

Predictable. Not a great book. I knew who the killer was as soon as they were introduced in the book, and the whole plot was entirely too predictable. I had to force myself to finish it. Also, Reacher is supposed to be in love with his girlfriend, but he occasionally makes out with an FBI agent who wants to be taken seriously but won't wear a bra?? Please, this was just weird and distracting. The way the women were killed was the only interesting mystery in this book, I'll give it that. However, I will not be reading this author again.

Disappointed. This was my first read by Lee Child. I am not impressed. It was somewhat refreshing to see a different style of writing. Unlike the usual, cliché monster male serial killer, it was a female this time. But it was way too unrealistic. The way he laid the Plot just did not add up. And hypnotism, seriously? Is that the best you could come up with? Should’ve put it under fantasy fiction

Running Blind. Excellent read......couldn't put it down!! Love the Reacher novels, great character.

Jack Reacher is Awesome. So far I’ve read 4 of the Jack Reacher series. Loved them all and look forward to reading them all. Reacher has a unique outlook on life...no anchors.

Running Blind. Bad production can ruin a good book. It's a shame when it's such a fine author. Whoever published this ebook forgot to put in the paragraph marks. Impossible to read.

It's a page turner. Well this was my 3rd Jack Reacher novel and each experience ended the same way...once I got to about 1/3 of the book left, I could not stop reading until I was done. I would have to say the writing is much stronger than the story which kept this a page turner. The two big issues with the story was 1) Reacher pretty much went a solid week with never cleaning or changing his clothes....Lee Child loves to emphasize that he only takes his toothbrush with him - I could only imagine how bad he stank!! And 2) the FBI really were portrayed as a total mafia-like gang and it really put me off. But again, Child's writing is so crisp that it still made for a great read.

Great Series. I had read some of the books in this series as stand alone stories, but I decided to start at the beginning with the 1st in the series and read the entire series in order. If you haven’t already been reading the series in order, I strongly recommend it. Lee Child has a way of bringing his characters to life, but with each new book, he reveals more and more of Jack’s character, warts and all. I intend to continue reading each and every book in this series. Thank you Lee Child. For avid readers such as I, your characters are true portrayals of the human race

Running blind. Pretty obvious outcome from early in the book. Only reason it was a page turner was to get done with it.... not a whole lot of action; not a believable plot.

Good Jack Reacher novel. I enjoyed Running Blind, but it wasn't the best Jack Reacher novel. First half pretty slow but then it picks up. Good conclusion.

Not as good. This is the fourth Reacher novel I've read and it was by far the weakest. It was still ok, better than a lot of other books, but just not as good as I'd come to expect. The dialogue was repetitive, the plot predictable, and the whole "military vs. FBI" mindset Childs brings out in this book makes no sense since in an earlier book Reacher and Colonel are cooperating with the FBI but no mention was made of that rivalry. Plus whoever formatted it for iBooks screwed up and didn't put paragraph breaks in which made it difficult to follow at times.

Running blind. Typical Lee Childs thriller. Character development was spot on and the story line moved me both emotionally and anxious. I rate this early Reacher novel four stars out of five.

Running Blind. A good rendering by Child and Reacher fans won't be disappointed.....as all the "Reacher Rules" generously applied here - from kicking butt, minimal clothes changing, folding toothbrush, no luggage, to walking miles and miles on interstates. What is perplexing, however, is Child's obvious lack of research on one of the book's major plotting points. Major Spoiler Alert here - read no further if you plan to buy Running Blind.... OK - you have been warned. Here's the deal - All of the victims were hypnotized in order for the killer to carry out the dastardly deeds. But EVERYONE knows or should no that absolutely No one can be hypnotized and be "commanded " to do something he or she would deem to be immoral, illegal, or otherwise against something that person would ordinarily never do - like, uh, kill themselves or rake a screw driver across their face! Come on - Lee - just google any article on hypnotism on the old World Wide Web and you can find out what every psychiatrist and psychologist knows!! So I was really into the book until the last 20 pages when the author became a bit lazy with the facts - still a great read just a bit disappointing at the end! Three stars - not my usual Reacher 5 stars because Lee needs to quit counting his royalties and get off the couch to research!

Great twist. I could not predict this ending at all. Kept be guessing the entire time. Loved it!!!

Boring.. Let’s wrap it up with a pretty bow at the end. Not good.

Good, but flawed. This is a great Jack Reacher book where we get to see even deeper into his flawed character. The one issue I have with the book (spoiler alert) is the colonel. The voice was used for him earlier in the book and then suddenly at the end you are left wondering why he was being so secretive about his copy of the list if that inner voice was not him. Made me think the next book was going to put Reacher on his trail because the book makes it seem he is also up to something no good and that was just unsatisfying.

Intense. A great reading full of suspense.

Getting better. Like other authors, I try to read their works from the beginning so I have much catching up to do with Lee Child. That being said, I found this to be much better written than his first two books. The twist at the end was far less obvious and the main character had more depth. The plot was far more engaging and the whodunit part was well disguised. Soon I will start on the next book in the series expecting an even bigger improvement and hope not to be disappointed.

Look out for the ending. It was a possibility with twists and turns that made it a great conclusion

Wow!. Great story! Well written, didn’t want to put it down.

A DEEPENING JACK REACHER MYSTERY: #4. “Running Blind”-an enjoyable, complex Jack Reacher mystery (#4 in the series and sometimes entitled “The Visitor") by Lee Child. Roaming ex-MP Reacher is still anchored at Garrison, NY & in love with Jodie. But standing up for someone creates thorny situations for him and others, full of tight timelines and much danger, as puzzling situations get deeper and Reacher is a key player. Five ENGAGING Stars. (RBSProds)

Not your typical Reacher novel that’s for sure.. Not your typical Reacher novel that’s for sure. Reacher usually finds trouble and fixes it. This time the fix gets him into the middle of something big.

Classic Reacher. Good read - could hardly put it down. As good as any in the series and glad I found it on the iBook.

His hand is too big. I would prefer a plot that didn’t have so many technical inconsistencies.

Running Blind. I guessed the "how", but not the "who".

A fantastic trip. This was my first Lee Child novel and ton sum it up,.................fantastic. Cant wait to read other Jack Reacher novels,

First one I read.. Got me hooked on Lee Child/Jack Reacher.Great.

Running Blind. Excellent read!

Running Blind. This tale is vintage Jack Reacher. Lee Child has created a most interesting character in Reacher. This tale delves into how Reacher's mind solves riddles. The book moves swiftly and with the tart yet delightful dialogue that keeps the reader turning the pages. The finale is unexpected and well thought out.

Running Blind. 3/5 stars. Started strong, petered out :-(

Black Sheep of the Series. Different from most Reacher books but still a great read. My favorite of the series up to this point. Lots of twists and the ending was not something I saw coming. It may not be for you, but it’s definitely worth a shot!

C-. I am a fan of Lee Child's work and applaud the character of Reacher, but you could probably read this one after the others.
