Great book.. I loved it.

Intriguing. Very valuable information and lessons to learn in this book. I will say though it does get repetitive at times. Some rules although all valuable in different senses seemed stretched or repetitive. I personally would recommend it to anyone who wants to be more strategic in life

The 48 laws of power. The best book I have ever read.

This book is okay, I guess.... While several of the laws can be used today I suppose, I found many of the laws to metaphorically be outdated. Then at the end of every chapter, which was probably 5-10 more pages than it should be, the author spent two paragraphs to 'debunk' the respective law itself - thus making all chapters contradictory at best. Probably won't be re-reading the entire book, but may come back to a couple of the chapters that seemed relevant.

Life Changing. Just one of those books that once you read it,your outlook on the topic of “power” is never the same.

Highly Recommend. This book is a lot of things. It’s an analysis on power, and an analysis on what Greene believes to be our human nature. It’s rooted very firmly in historical and sociological analysis. Highly recommend

Worse book I’ve read. Very disappointed. I don’t agree with the premise and many examples he uses are of the worst types of characters in history and it usually never ends well for them. Should be called “The guide to be friendless, alone and miserable”. Wish I could get my money back.

Sloppy Production. D- Work.. This product is miserably proofread, if it was proofread at all. Some paragraphs, especially the indented paragraphs, will have so many misspellings that a reader has to pause to figure out what is intended. One has to wonder how a publisher can be so sloppy & invest so little, & still expect the consumer to pay top dollar.

Amazing. Read this to learn more about the world around you and how to interact with your fellow humans. Even if you do not always use the laws of power it is important to know them because someone will use them on you.

Fantastic compilation of information, stories, and fables.. You have got to love Mr. Greene’s hard work that shows in his usage of all types of relevant information and the method he uses to deliver it to the reader.

Awful.. The last thing we need in this world is a manual on being dishonest and selfish. I suggest trying to be a human being instead.

It was alright. I felt like more of the beginning had more relatable things, there were a lot of old stories so I think that’s what made it less relatable and not giving a lot of information.

Powerful. Very powerful book. Grasp the knowledge and apply it to your everyday life and begin to see a change. Take a time to reflect on your past and present events and you can be able to plan for the most successful future.

Ebook full of errors, unreadable. This book itself is easily a 5-star read. Unfortunately, the iBooks digital version is a mess. What starts as a few confusing typost quickly gives way to bizarre formatting errors. At one point, sentences from two separate parts of a chapter are mixed up on after another, requiring decoding to read. In another place, half a chapter is simply missing and the next chapter begins as if it were over. (Perhaps the over half of that chapter is floating around somewhere else in the book; I’m not far enough along to know it yet.) Even in areas without these egregious mixups, there are frequent typos that make me think the ebook was scanned from a paper copy. Reviews indicate others have noticed these same errors; save your money and get a hard copy instead.

Before you read this book.... You must know that you should not compare this book when it comes to having power in real life scenarios. this book is mostly only fitting for work places/corporate. for example, for those out there who works at a really good job where you have a CEO and you want to be on the CEOs level. or for example if you are working in anything as big as a mayor and you want to know how to be able to say the right things this is perfect.

Must Read. It’s amazing. I just love the background of the stories and understanding the concepts of their behavior for each scenerio.

Five stars ⭐️. Exposed weaknesses and strengths, all of which will be noted and improved. Awesome.

A book that makes you think. There is a lot of valuable information in this book that makes you pause and think a lot. Using multiple examples throughout history keeps it interesting and better illustrates points made.

NOT FOR EVERYONE. A truly great read not for everyone but one of my favorites.

Mesmerizing. Couldn’t put it down.. The quirks, twists and surprises kept me reading this book. Factual, yet cunning and insightful. If you want to manipulate manipulative people or entice people to do what you want, I’d say read this book. I thoroughly enjoy each excerpt of historical situations used to reveal different messages and a new lesson upon turning each page.

Jedi mind trick. A Sith Lord’s handbook on use of the dark side of the force. No, the dark side is not stronger than the light. Master Yoda once said “Quicker, easier, more seductive, but not stronger.” You’ll damage your body/soul without a doubt if you live by these laws. Remember the high ground and the inevitable fate of Vader.

Great book. laws for life

Definitely a good read !!. It has taken me a while to finish the book, as I wanted to really take in the laws presented from this book. This is definitely great for those that need a quick crash-course on building up social awareness and cues.

A must read. Pay no mind to those who argue that Greens’s book is a how-to for sharks and ruthless people. The core idea behind 48 Laws of Power is that people are motivated for personal gain. Everyone. Some are better practitioners, but even fewer are those who recognize it in the actions of others. This book stands up well to repeated reading. Indispensible when you’re first joining the workforce, you’ll find new insight reding this in your 40s and 50s in understanding how people work and why they do what they do.
