Jack Reacher - not Tom Cruise. As an avid female fan of Lee Childs and Jack Reacher, I was so thrilled about the upcoming movie.....Jack Reacher come to life. Okay so NOT! 6'5" 220 lbs of brilliant character does not equate to Tom Cruise and Jack would never use a line like, "so don't play with guns"! ( yes I have seen the previews). Tom Cruise may bring the bucks to the movie only if you haven't read the books. I would never pay to see this fabulous authors character diminished in such a way and thereby destroying the vision of all future novels. As for me I will keep Jack in my imagination and leave the rest to the "I don't know Jack" fans......the movie is "reaching" for sure. Keep them coming Lee.

Another enjoyable Reacher. Enjoyable and fun to read as the many other reacher novels.

Tripwire. This is the third Jack Reacher book & I am totally obscessed! The writing is superb and suspenseful. There is barely a chance to catch your breath on the roller coaster ride of your life.

The best Reacher novel I’ve read so far. Excellent plot and clever twists. Good pacing, clear prose. and the Reacher character continues to entertain. A little bit mushy on the romance side but to each his own.

Reacher never disappoints. What can I say? Especially now with the TV series going on? Reacher just doesn’t fail. Usually, he doesn’t even struggle much!

A Reacher classic. A fast moving read, with twists and turns to keep you flipping pages.

Good. Very surprising ending

Order?. Do other readers recommend going back and starting this series from the beginning?

Another hit. Admittedly, this book starts off kind of slow. The development of the plot is very long and well though out. Lee Child did a great job weaving in some unforeseen surprises too. Overall, another quality book in this great series.

Disappointing. Lots of superfluous descriptions. Story is twice as long as it should be. Lots of time spent with support character development but a postscript of the outcome of their ordeal is not revealed. Hokey ending especially the use of morphine for three weeks to induce a coma. Not realistic. It’s like the author got bored with writing this story and quickly tried to tie up loose ends but missed many and was sloppy about it.

Gruesome story. But I am starting to fall a little bit in love with Jack Reacher. The details are great, except when they’re gruesome and then I skim over them. I’d really like to see him married but I have a feeling he’ll be Rambling Reacher, Master Crime Solver, forever.

My favorite so far. I have only read a handful of Jack Reacher novels, but this one has more suspense and has the most interesting side story, in my opinion.

Only good in the last few chapters. I was expecting something as good as the one before this. "Never go back" was great. However this one was not suspenseful at all. Only the last few chapters got my heart pumping.

Ending. I was disappointed that nothing was written about Chester and his wife after they were released. She was such a strong woman and was the only one to try to help Reacher, then it was like they had never been an integral part of the event leading to Allen’s (Hobie’s) demise. (I hope I got the names right. I went back and wrote this after reading another book and was too unfamiliar with my iPad to figure out how to get back into a book after marking it “read” and I am no good with names.)

Reacher. Good reading for sure. Everybody would like to have Reacher as a good friend.

Another winner. Lee Child has never failed to deliver a fast paced, character rich story, and this one is no different. Loved the twist in the ending, didn’t see that coming. Thanks Lee, your the best

Tripwire. Great book, a good read. BUT…………….. there is alway a cut! Child must get paid by the word. He uses way to many. Ask him what time it is, he tell you in six pages, how to build a watch. Other that that, great read.

Best (worst) villain in the series. I’ve reread many of the novels in the series but this one gets me every time. Perfect balance of Reacher’s past and and invisible, but incredibly formidable adversary. Suspenseful until the end even if you’ve already read it!

Loved the movie!! And Reacher novels!!. As a female fan of Jack Reacher and Lee Childs books, I can see how Mr. Childs gave Tom Cruise rights to play the part and produce the movie. Tom Cruise brings the spirit, quiet toughness, intelligence and physicality to the role of retired MP, drifter Jack Reacher. Yes, he is not the 6'5" 200+, but, if you can't move beyond height and believe ONLY the looks of a person makes the part, then don't see the movie. I cheered, as did the rest of the audience, when Tom Cruise/Jack Reacher whooped behinds and killed the bad guy thru only an inch of hair. I guess they were Jack Reacher fans also. Hope this becomes another franchise.

Downloads OK now! Great story. Apparently Apple has fixed the download problem, They took it off line for about a month until it was working correctly. This is another great Jack Reacher story and this one has one of the most unpleasant adversaries yet. Reacher makes it all work out. "That's for damn sure!"

Amazing Read. Excellent plot, characters, and surprises. One of the best Reacher reads.

Suspenseful, difficult to put down. Tripwire is full of suspense and intrigue. It keeps one guessing throughout the book. Excellent characters, especially Reacher’s new love. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see if Jodie is part of Reacher’s life.

Tripwire is my favorite so far. This book is written in similar layout as the first book. I liked this book the best so far. I was sort of on to what was going on.. I say sort of because the book contained a few twists that I didn't see coming. It really held my interest. I'm "hooked" on these Reacher books.

Really enjoying the series!. These books are great and a joy to read. I am a fan of book series because I don’t have to worry about what I will read next.

Jack Reacher is great, Lee Child needs to do better research. Jack Reacher is a very fun character. The books are very entertaining. But, Lee Child's misunderstanding of the American military and military life is epic. In every book he tells a back story for Reacher's childhood that no living being on Earth would have ever lived. No one moves that much, and families don't deploy to war zones. Even little things like in this book when he calls the base in Hawaii Hickam Field. It has gone back to being called that now. But it wasn't when the book was written. And it hadn't been called that since shortly after World War II. Or the fact that Air Force police are called SFs rather than MPs. These are little details that are distractions rather than details that draw you further into a book. Perhaps it's because Child is British. Maybe he thinks the military in old movies is reality. But it's really not acceptable in this era to not do better research.

Tripwire. Excellent read! From beginning to end. Everyone needs a Reacher in their life.
