Set over a period of twenty-four hours, Run takes us from the Museum of Comparative Zoology at Harvard to a home for retired Catholic Priests in downtown Boston. As an in her bestselling novel, Bel Canto, Ann Patchett illustrates the humanity that connects disparate lives, weaving several stories into one surprising and endlessly moving narrative. Suspenseful and stunningly executed, Run is ultimately a novel about secrets, duty, responsibility, and the lengths we will go to protect our children.

Simply a good book.. I just want to enjoy what I’m reading and be inspired. Mission accomplished with Run.
Not my favorite but a 5 star none the less.. Everything Ann Patchett writes is more than worthy of 5 stars and "Run" is no exception. While not my favorite I did enjoy this book so much. The character development in ALL her books is flawless. It does't get better than Ann Patchett so read them all!
Run. Too bad. This book is a train wreck.
An emotion story, I wish it was true.. Simply beautiful...so many emotions, so many moments to savor.
Kept waiting for something to happen, but nothing did. Based on the book description, I went into this read expecting something more exciting, so my review is definitely skewed by that, but I just found Run very boring. It was well written, but I didn't really care what happened to the characters. Once I realized it wasn't getting any better, I stopped reading. It took me a long time to realize that - I read 9 out of 11 chapters.
Run. How did I miss this book? Ann Patchett can spin a tale, but she is a master at the the mental, emotional, and spiritual machinations of her characters and how they weave into each other’s lives. Very good read.
