Reads like a thriller!. An inside look at a historic election, a real page turner. Buy it, you will enjoy it!

Riveting. I finished the book in 3 days - didn't want to put it down. I actually am not a fan of Sarah Palin - still not at all - but she was used by the McCain campaign and she knew it. It explains why she went "rogue". Verifies my vote for President - that is for sure.

Thriller. Even though you know the outcome, the story told is a page turner. Glimpses of the inner workings of the candidates are brilliant.

Excellent. Makes one wonder how such an incompetent,unqualified candidate such as Palin could make it as far as she did. Just a stunningly disasterous choice. Could not put it down as I'm a political junkie.

Authored by Obama. Interesting reading, but far from impartial. The authors obviously are in love with Obama and rarely criticize him other than by pointing out the enormous ego he has. If you want to read more propaganda from the Obama machine, then this is the book for you.

Great read for political junkies & everyone else. This book reads like a great story - the fact that it actually happened is icing on the cake.

The movie was great, unlike the book. I saw the movie first, and it was great. That's why I bought the book. I didn't count them, but my guess is that the book only has 30 pages about Sarah Palin.

Don't know yet. I hope the book pays more attention to typos than the description does.

Entertaining Electoral Gossip. A fun, gossipy read - although the sections on McCain are a bit dry compared to the others - but don't expect the erudition or depth of a Theodore White look at the electoral process. Less history than histrionics.

Wow. I'm not really into politics but I couldn't put this book down. I highly recommend it.

Game Change. I normally read espionage and spy novels, but who needs fictional intrigue when we have the real thing. What a cast of characters. This book gets a little gossipy at times, but this is a very easy read and hard to put down.

Great read. This is the first book ever I've read from beginning to end, and in a matter of days. That's how captivating it is. The political junkie in me could not stop reading it. Great read if you too were enthralled by the 08 election and want a deeper look at the events around it.

Marvelous Read. A truly outstanding account of the 2008 election cycle. Really interesting insight into one of the most defining elections of a generation, with information given in a way you won't find anywhere else. I feared this was going to be a trashy, tabloid-esque rumormongering book, but it wasn't at all: it provided a clear view of what happened in 2008 behind the scenes, and it was absolutely fascinating.

Game Change brings you up close and personal with the people who did and didn't make it happen. I found myself turning pages like I didn't know how it ended.

David H. For anyone with an interest in politics and specifically the political drama that defined the 2008 election, Game Change is a must read. It takes you behind the scenes, beyond the sound bites that you get on television, and puts you right along the characters in this riveting drama. Heinemann's and Halperin's detailed accounting offers a no-holds barred view of the slugfest, depicting a sometimes unflattering, but authentic portrait of some of our nation's most prominent politicians in one of the most historic elections in recent history. Although we all now the outcome, the book will keep the reader riveted, and salivating for more, well beyond the epilogue.

Best political book I've read. Somehow, the authors made me genuinely interested in -- and empathetic toward -- all of the candidates. I feel I experienced the election from each politician's perspective. Moving toward the 2012 race, I feel more connected and understanding of the process.

So much fun..... If you had a pulse during the last presidential election, then you might be aware that it was the most historical event in modern American politics. With a slew of characters and incidences that couldn't have been dreamed up on a raunchy soap opera, this book is an amazingly written tell-all of the inner workings of each significant campaign. If you have any interest in politics, current events, history, or even comedy, give Game Change a read.

Great Insight. The book reads like a novel from the throwing of the hats into the ring to the acceptance by Hillary of SOS. The insider details were exceptionally interesting, but not overly expanded. The authors were very balanced in their reporting and no candidate was left unscathed.

Game change. New info with inside stuff, but want even more. Everybody needs a bathroom sense of humor to tolerate our current crop of politicos.
