Good with bad ending.. Awesome right until the ending. I need more substance! I need to know what happens!

Had potential. I really liked the first 2/3 of the book. After that point though the story lagged for a good while and the ending was kind of disappointing. It was disappointing because they race across the country to find and help Margo but when get to her she is a horrid jerk to them. Also you find out that there was actually no reason for them to race across the country. But this book does not represent some of the other wonderful books John Green has written, so I would go read one of those and just skip this one.

Disappointing. So beyond disappointed about this book. Thought it would be a good read because I love John Green's other books. Throughout the book I had very little connection to the protagonist or to Margo and therefore didn't care to keep reading. I read until the end and was annoyed because the ending was predicable and frustrated me. I guess the quest to find Margo, a character I knew so little about, didn't interest me.

Love it. I love this book ( I love anything John Green rights) it was was so real and I loved it .

Made me love reading again. When I was younger I always loved to read. I stopped as I got older and spent more of my time in sports. Now that I don't play anymore I thought I would try to go back to something I at one time loved. This book DEFINATELY made me regain my passion for reading. I never wanted to put it down. I always wanted to find out what was going to happen next if you like a romance/mystery book then this is for sure the right fit. You will NOT be disappointed.

Terrible. I only give it a one star because that's the least available. The only thing this book had was a good plot that ended nowhere...filled with ridiculous language and crude sexual comments.

goals. i LOVE this book! it is no doubt one of my favorite. The one thing i did not like about this book was, everyone knew that margo and Q were mean't to be together, but HELLO! Plot twist! I understand that some people like the ending, others, (me) not so much. but overall, it was amazing, i wouldn't be suprised if many people use margo and Q's adventure, as goals.

Gave John Green 3 chances. Read paper towns, the fault in our stars, and looking for Alaska. Green has a lot of trouble coming up with new ideas. Paper Towns and Looking for Alaska are so alike it's embarrassing. The biggest problem Green has is creating literature that is too immature for young adults but too inappropriate for teenagers. After giving him 3 tries I can definitely say "never again". I wouldn't recommend these books to anybody.

I'm very disappointed. I don't really care for this one. I love the way John green writes, but this story wasn't exciting. Basically this kid is obsessed with this girl, finds a few clues, and then finds this girl, who left for the dumbest reason ever. Nothing too great about this one. And leaves you feeling like it isn't finished.

Best book ever.. I'm not much of a book reader but John Green really knows how to pull me in and get me to crying but I overall love this book and is my favorite of his by far.

Modern Romance. At some points of the novel get really time consuming, but overall loved the book. It goes to show tht we all have unreal illusions of each other and even when ppl have feeling for each other it don't always necessary mean tht we get our "perfect love story ending".

Paper towns. This book makes you think about life, in a good way! I love how well developed the characters are, and how strong the story line is. It's definitely one of my favorites.

AMAZING. I really identified with this book which is odd because I feel I'm total opposite from the characters, but I still felt that I wanted to meet them and just step into their journey and I haven't felt that way about a book in a while😊

eh-. ive read three john green books and this is by far my least favorite. margo is self centered and not a very good love interest. her character however is interesting but her personality is revolting. all the other characters are great, tho. it was super hard to get involved with the story particularly because its so slow, although it’s beautifully written. the beginning and end are the best parts of the book, the middle is extremely boring in my opinion. it gives me like the-classic-novel-no-one-reads vibes. if yr interested in reading john green novels start with the fault in our stars.

second favorite book. this book is so good, it’s not boring at all. even in the beginning it’s enjoyable and doesn’t drag on! the ending is upsetting, wish there was more. I will definitely read more John Green books. update months later: i read more john green books, only for this novel to remain my second favorite.

Boring. I was really looking forward to reading this book. I finally purchased it and am extremely disappointed. I never connected to any characters. It was easily put down, which I don't like in books. I thought it started to get exciting, but after a page it was a bore yet again. I've never finished a book and been so disappointed about the entire thing. I needed more from it, but I don't know if I would have continued reading if there was anymore. The concept was entertaining, but the writing was not.

Paper Towns. No words are able to describe my love for this book, other than Wow. Never in a million years did I expect to fall in Love with a John Green book like this. The connections shared between the characters are downright perfect, and the connection between Margo and Q was on point. The book was very well paced and kept me up all night reading.

EPICALLY AWESOME!. I love this book so much! It's not just another romantic book, but has lots of suspense & adventure. I love how John Green didn't over ride it with the romance, but focused on the journey. It wasn't just on Margo's and Quentin's relationship, but more going on an adventure.
