Yes. Loved it! Good read!

Mercy. I love all of Patricia Briggs books but the Mercy books and the Anna and Charles (Omega series) books are my favorite. I’ve read all of them several times!

Good book.. This is a good start to a promising series. The author creates a very immersive universe. I can not wait to read the next book.

YES!. I love the main character of Mercy. Her moral compass always points north but she’s funny and snarky enough to be relatable. Hope this series never ends!

Friends. An excellent well written story. Mercy and friends have a mystery to solve. Yes, there is action, magic, mystery and romance. Some humor but I really enjoyed the interaction between Mercy, Adam, and Samuel. Let's not forget that there even vampires involved and one with a Scooby Doo sense of humor. I really enjoyed the book and plan on reading the next I the series. I would tell more but I really hate to spoil a good book for the reader!

I love it. I love the mercy series it’s all I love this makes me laugh and cry and gets me into a different universe at hard times I really recommend this book it’s helped me and my mother go through bad times

A sassy intro to a lady coyote who stands for right at every turn. Mercy is always the underdog with the in to the worlds of werewolf, vampire and fae. She is a mechanic taken in by the werewolves. She is always fighting for herself and her friends just doing her best even if it gets her into trouble. In Moon Called after she helps a new werewolf out the Alpha and his daughter get into trouble and it is Mercy that must step up.

Awful dialogue. This book reads like a sexy after school special. The dialogue is horrible. There are 50 cent words just scattered about as if to add sophistication, but they just make the prose awkward. I was looking for something light to read, but this is actually painful.

Loved it!. I really liked this book. It can be slow at some points but overall it’s worth it. I love the Mercy universe.

Grammar errors and tense mix ups.. The writer stumbles over stiff prose and tense inaccuracies, making the excitement of the story fall flat. Character development is low, which creates confusion whenever she adds a new character. But the story is decent, and it's a fun read for what it is.

Good start to a great series. It took me a while to get into this book, but I'm so glad I kept going with it. The pace picks up after the first few chapters after which it's a roller coaster of werewolves, witches and fun. The writing is great and the characters are instantly lovable. There is a small romance element that builds slowly throughout the series, never getting in the way of the larger stories. Briggs is one of my favorite two writers in this genre (the other being Ilona Andrews for her Kate Daniels series).

Standard Urban Fantasy with Female Lead. This is another crockpot urban fantasy with a female lead. The main difference here is decent writing and the fact that main character is a skin walker. Unfortunately, there isn't much to distinguish this from other similar series yet.

can't put it down. Mercy is such an amazing character, strong, caring, intelligent. She doesn't play the typical damsel in distress role. This is a woman who takes care of business! Above and beyond my favorite series.

Loved it!. Great start to a new world! i love these types of series.... nothing like anita blake or cassandra but the overall idea is there just very dif...this has the shapeshifters as main characters....i love Mercy... her personality is awsome and i love the way she deals with all the problems....the tension with adam is nice to c too, i wish there were more sexual tension or scenes....

The best of Urban Fantasy. Love, love, LOVE this series!!!! Patricia Briggs is absolutely brilliant! I love her style of writing because she seriously has the talent to balance the right amount of emotion in everything from serious, to funny, sassy, sweet, intense, etc. And she makes her characters come alive, and feel so real, I just can’t get enough of Mercy and the gang.

Amazing!. One of the best series I've ever read. The author really knows how to draw you into the characters. I couldn't put the book down!

Solid Read!. Great first installment of a long series. I really felt connected with Mercy within the first few chapters. Briggs kept race, sex, and sexuality tasteful in here which is pretty hard to come by these days. I enjoyed each character and I cannot wait to see what Mercy and her 2 alpha males get into next! Briggs, you just gained another fan!

Truth/Dare. Truth=This is great book that will make you only want more. Dare=I dare you to read this and not read the rest (not gonna happen) healthy challenge, but I adore Patricia Briggs so if you want to read them go ahead.

Amazing. 5 stars! Engaging series through and through, should be recommended to Sookie stackhouse readers :)
