Great Message. I always enjoy reading Seth Godin's work and Tribes is another great masterpiece. I appreciate that Seth doesn't write "How To" books and give you a step by step guide on how to be successful. No, Seth gives us ideas to digest and act upon. And that's what I appreciate most--the challenge to act. Thank You Seth.

Trite and Uninsightful. Unfortunately Mr. Godin's observations are neither very insightful nor very original. It is one part mediocre community college marketing strategy class and one part social/new media obsessed blog cast rambling. Don't mistake my point here, Mr. Godin's observations aren't wrong - they just aren't worth your money or time. Look elsewhere.

Short but massive. Seth Godin makes it very simple... Leadership is one of the greatest deficiencies in our culture today. Choose to destroy the status quo and change the world today. We need leadership and we need it now.

Just read again!!!. I learn something new each time I read this book. Get the audio book so you can hear Seth read it to you. So good.

You either are, or you aren't..... This book is amazing! The concept that people might do something, for any reason besides money, is foreign to far too many people. The thing is, if you're not already doing what this book says, odds are you won't understand it either. The book is more philosophy than business as far as some of us are concerned. Give it shot though! Maybe you can get the courage to change the way things are done too!

Amazing. This honestly was one of the best books I’ve ever read.

Another Self Help. Tribes is one of those self help books that you can listen to for hours and learn nothing from. It repeats the same old tropes of "be a rebel", "don't be a sheep", and "lead don't manage". It offers no scientific information on human leader ship and no business information specific enough to be of use to anyone. In short, this is nothing more than several hours of pep talk which will have you walking away feeling great and having learned nothing of value.

Meaningless nonsense.. If a freshmen business student wrote a book, this is what it would look like. Tangential, basic arguments, and absolutely a slog to finish.

Amazing. An amazing read. Very good read and the knowledge given is incredible.

Totally Inspired & Re-Invented Businessman. I just finished reading Tribes. I have to say I'm really inspired by the concepts and ideas presented here. So much so that I'm starting a project with the business I work for that is radical and completely impractical and totally inspiring! So far I've got some buy-in from the power that be. I'll be moving forward with it in the next couple of weeks. I'll be re-reading this book for more insights and confirmation of my path. I have no doubt whatsoever that what I've read here will change the way I do and have done business. Best of luck to you lucky enough to find this book. Of course you won't need it because you've got a tribe supporting you. At the very least...the tribe of fans of Tribes and Seth Godin. Inspirational.. Truly teaches you about leadership

Remarkable. I have a small car detailing business, and I'm going to implement some of Seth's ideas. I highly recommend reading this book even if you don't own a business.

It's worth the time to read. ... and may just change you

Jumps around quite a bit. I found this book difficult to keep engaged with. It hops around quite a bit and more than a handful of stories are quite a bit out of date and don’t hold up today.

Truly Inspiring. This is for sure a must read! The books gave great insights on how to start leading a tribe. As someone in a leadership position at work, it really gave me a new perspective on how to approach problem solving and how to ignite change.

Typical Seth: many useful tidbits. Just like his blogs, every paragraph contains useful information. No words wasted. I recommend it.
