Nice read. Not my favorite book, but a nice read. Story could have been expanded on, seemed a bit rushed.

Sweet. Funny sweet and sometimes funny, the plot is not typical at all and the characters are well written. But unfortunately the male protagonist character was weak and too sensitive for a man. I wanted to read the next book in the series but I didn’t when I noticed some reviews saying it has an explicit scene.

Loved this book!. I absolutely adored this book. It was beautifully written, had a great story line, and a beautiful ending. The only down fall to me was, it wasn't long enough!! Lol, I wanted to read lots and lots more!!! I can't wait to read the next book!

Not A Fan. Sorry! I found this book poorly written and completely amateurish. It makes me wonder if the author is in Junior High School. If that be the case, then it is a good effort indeed. I'm really glad it was a free book. If I'd paid for that, I would be very put out.

Sweet, simple...almost bland. The tone of this book is like something for 6th graders from the 1950s. They weren't kidding when they characterized it as G-rated. Omigosh. I read it so I'd have the background for the R-rated sequel! We'll see.

Sweet Love. This novella is funny. I couldn't help but sympathize with Tom and admire Jessica for her kindness. She is also a wise girl who knows what is good for her. This story is an enjoyable read. It's the light read one may be looking for.

A Bride for Tom. This book lacks authenticity for the time period in which the story is set. It's not well written, but might be appreciated a bit more by a much younger reader.. like a middle schooler.

Joe’s thoughts. I liked the story for the most part. Tom was easily flustered. I would like to say his steadiness improved but, not during this story.

Good books, lacking a little depth. I'm loving the author and her stories, but I am wishing there was more depth to the books. More detail and longer books. She really has something going here. I read 4-6 novels a week, and have very much enjoyed these books. I would recommend her books for a good short read!!

Good read but.... The story was enjoyable but there were some continuity error, specifically with the name of Tom's sister. Throughout the entire story, her name was Jenny but in the epilogue, it was Wendy. Either two different people wrote the story or it wasn't proofread enough.

Just ok. It is a quick read but not much depth to the storyline. Good thing it was free. Not sure I'll continue with the series.

Bride for Tom. I thought the book was cute. A nice romance novel that dated in past history but was written in modern language. It was also easy to follow. There were not alot of side stories so it was easy to follow and a quick read.Very enjoyable. I would recommend this book to others.

Unimpressed and could not finish it. I do appreciate the effort, but I got to chapter 4 and could not read any more. It was not written well. The story was not believable, cutting all her hair just because she got a few strands caught in a button when her hair was her pride and joy? I don't think that's believable.

Cute book. I graduated from highschool 3 years ago and havnt read a book since. I saw this book and decided to try it..once I started reading it I couldn't stop. It was a cute book, and well written..but it was easy to tell what was going to happen before I finished reading it.

Far too simple. This book is short, incredibly easy to read but that is about it, there's not much storyline and the writing is too simple. Compared to some books in this category, this was dull and I felt like I had wasted the time I spent on it! It might be good if you had a short amount of time and wanted something easy and fluffy.

Truly amazing!!!. This book is beautiful... I just couldn't put it down. I stayed awake until 4 in the morning reading this book. I have also now downloaded some more books from Ruth Ann as I think her writing is really good. It's defiantly a good read and im know moving on to read a husband for Margret :) a bride for tom is a really good choice to read in my opinion.

A Bride For Tom. I Loved the book! I’m a bit of a drama/romance fan. My Favourite bit is when Tom thought that Peter and Margret were hiding and Tom Kissed Jessica. The writer put in so much detail it was like I was seeing it.
