Incredible!!!!. From the beginning to end this book will have you on the edge of your seat. I couldn’t put it down.

Not a page turner by any means.. Slow…. And some pretty glaring errors in editing or proofing. And having paid $14.99 for an ebook with editing errors is pretty cruddy. I’ve read worse…. but not many. It’s no Reacher or Gray Man.

Great. Great thriller, with politics and what they have to do and how the people doing the dirty work have to deal with the situation between those confines.

Great Read!. Thanks to all the previous reviews of this author and his works. My first book by him. Wanted to start at the beginning of the series of Mitch. Characters very well developed--and the action, places & people were so easy to picture. Been looking for a new "main-character" similar to Ludlam's, Baldachi's, Cornwell's & Brown's. Couldn't put it down... Except for essentials. Reading this book on the iPad was a great experience! Found the ending to be both enjoyable and relevant. Thanks!

Transfer Of Power. A real thriller! A previous reviewer claimed it was boring, too slow, not like Vince's others in the series. Hello! This is book one in the Mitch Rapp series and I can't wait to start book two. Another said it has already been done in a movie. The whole time I was reading it I thought to myself that this would make a great action thriller with a few updates to today's technology since this was a pre-9-11 era.

Fantastic. This book was fantastic. Vince Flynn draws you in immediately and his characters are so believable that you become immersed in the action from the get go. Pure genius...

Fast forward?. Thought I’d missed another of Rapp’s adventures in Paris because the book picks up a few years (and scars/wounds) after the problems with Victor. Putting that aside, it seems that there was lots of “30,000-feet” information that was superfluous to the plot.

Classic Vince Flynn!. Great red from beginning to finish, it flows great and keeps you enthralled until the end! A must read.

Didn’t feel like the other Flynn’s. I liked this book, don’t get me wrong, but it almost felt like it wasn’t Flynn writing it. It had a different feel to it I don’t quite like but overall, still a good book. It might just be me, but other than that, 👍🏻

Captivating, exciting from page one to the very end. Mr. Flynn, You have an amazing gift! "Term Limits" was fabulous! Please write faster because after you read "Transfer of Power" you can't wait to read the next book "Third Option", then " Separation of Power" and on and on. I love the Mitch Rabb character. I have to go......gotta start the next book!

Great read. Just finished reading this for the second time ( first was several years ago). It was as good or better the second time.

I couldn't put it down!!. ....and why is it there are no movies based off his books???

Transfer of Power. Excellent plot filled with plenty of tension and violence involving the best counter-terrorism people in the Government and every elite combat group in the Military trying to rescue the President and retake the White House after terrorists seize and hold it for three days. The weaknesses are in the stereotype politicians and others trying to exploit the crisis and the contrived actions--a woman reporter planting a kiss on the cheek of Rapp, the hero and one of those ultimate killers working for the good guys, just seconds before he murders one of the terrorists. Things like this were hard to swallow and distractions in the middle of the excellent action sequences. Overall a very good killer-diller, You'll just will have to put up with some of the phony characters and typical plots that undermine the action. TwoMeterMan

Already done!. This sounds like a familiar plot! I remember seeing a movie encompassing this same exact story-lines! I can't recall which movie this is! But nevermore, riveting plot! I rates in three stars cause I haunt red the book yet. I just wanted to make that comment

Wow!. What a great non-stop ride this read is! I had serious difficulty putting this book down at night. This is Washington DC at it’s best, and worst, with a few good guys and gals pulling out all of their tools to save the country from losing it’s President to fanatical terrorists.

Getting it right. Vince Flynn writes some of the best political thrillers. His characters are easy to get into and you'll find yourself turning the pages to find out what happens. Mostly I appreciate his high regard for the men and women who serve our country so diligently without recognition, military as well as our under appreciated CIA.

Best book I've read.. This was probably the best book I've ever read...couldn't put it down. It had all the elements necessary to keep the reader on the edge of his/her seat. Kudos to the author. Now, I need to download another one and let the fun continue.

Fun but .... I read the newest two Vince Flynn (Mitch Rapp Series) novels and loved them, so I decided to go from the beginning and read all of them. This was my seventh and I must say it is a bit different than the rest. Namely, it starts real slow and that is unusual for Flynn. Basically, you could take the first half of the book and condense it into two chapters. There was so much repetition, I spent most of the time skimming. He included a lot of word for word background from pervious novels and I found that very disappointing. If I wanted to know what happened in previous books, I would have bought them (and I did). Anyway other that a LOT of repeating himself, the story finally took off as I had hoped it would and became a fun read in the second half. I did NOT notice this repetition in any of Flynns other books so don't give up if this was your first one. Overall they are great, fast paced, hard to put down novels. This one is just three stars for a repetitious first half. (I've already bought the next one, so I have high hopes that this was a fluke).

Solid summer read. Started this on a Jet Blue flight out of Fort Myers and couldn't put it down. A bit wordy here and there, but writers do like the sound of their own voice. It goes where you expect and it's a great ride.

The epilogue could've been a bit better but the book is definitely one you want to read! I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Vince Flynn is a master!
