Fast, easy read. You know that quote “it all started when my mom met my dad…..hi my name is Ryan and my life? It’s pretty crazy”? That’s the vibe this book gives me. Which is an interesting accomplishment considering the subject matter.

Prolonged plot.. It started off very interesting, but by the time I got to chapter 12 ish the plot just seemed to get prolonged. It wasn't until the last few chapters that things picked up again. Not my typical mystery/thriller type of book.

Page Turner. I am always on the hunt for new authors and Chevy did not disappointment me. I could not put this book down, it was able to draw me in. Annie was an amazing character her strength and weakness came through the pages. I am looking forward to reading her other books.

Like a Bad Lifetime Movie .... I usually never take the time to review the books I read. For this one however, I have to make an exception. From start to finish this book felt forced and like a badly acted Lifetime Movie. I never felt bad for our heroine- she was nothing like the mother in the book "Room" (with a similar storyline) this woman was disjointed and had about as many family story lines as this book had pages. I soldiered through until the end but then in the last 50 pages the whole book went insane. I felt like I was reading the end of a completely different novel. Now it's her mother? A stepfather? What about that whole undeveloped step-uncle in prison? No? I could tell this was the author's first book and selling it for 2.99 still seems a little steep. Stay away- there are much better books floating around.

Still Missing... Still feeling it. I found this story to have grit and depth. It starts sucking you in with a plot you really cant figure out off the bat. It progresses with a few twists and turns that are realistic and make you feel like someone is telling you their personal story, not selling it to you. Several portions of the story really got to me and made me cry... Because this happens.... Great first novel from this no nonsense author and I am looking forward to the next read!

One word: AMAZING!. When I first downloaded this book, I was hooked from the first page. I finished this book in less than two days. I. COULD. NOT. PUT. IT. DOWN! I believe that Chevy Stevens is one of the better authors to come out this decade and I will ALWAYS read her books!

Wow: A Real Page Turner. “Maybe I should put up my own flyers: Still Missing. That smiling face belonged to the woman I used to be, not the woman I am now.” I can’t believe how fast I read this book. It was so good I HAD to know what came next! The story involves the abduction of Annie and her ability to heal and her strength to return to some semblance of a life. So you have thriller, mystery and the power of healing. The story is told through her sessions with her shrink. The author did a fantastic job of really going into the detailed emotions of Annie. She’s gritty; talks like a truck driver, angry, bitter and yet lovable. I really cared for her as well as the others in the story. And it’s because I cared this story really came to life for me and I felt like I was there with her and rooting her on. If you like mystery and thriller books, especially psychological ones, then you will love this book. It’s good great twists and turns and really keeps you fully engaged. I’m excited I found a new author and have additional great books ahead of me.

Good, quick read. I really enjoyed this book. It isn't the best book I've read in this genre but it is unique and held my interest. It's also a fairly quick read, which I always appreciate. The author does a wonderful job of painting very vivid pictures and does a fantastic job of wrapping you up in the story.

Chevy Stevens's Still Missing. This has to be one of the best books Iv'e ever read! The setting, plot, characters, etc. were perfect. I read the whole book in about a week, it was so addicting. I recommend it to anyone who likes the feeling where you don't know whats going to happen next. Nice job Chevy!!

Fabulous book!!. I could not put this book down. (I actually bought it in hardback when it came out). Riveting story. Odd little twists of the unexpected. It should be a must read for anyone thinking about being a realtor!! It is full of all the things that I used to worry about when a friend was selling real estate and she would be out be herself like that!! Incredibly well written. I highly recommend this book to any and all.

Loved It!. Loved this book! Every time I put it down I couldn't wait to come back and read what happens next. A little intense at times but a great, easy read. Highly recommend it, although I wanted a little more closure from the ending. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

Something Missing. Very good book/screenplay, but something was missing. Still missing. Enjoyed the book immensely, but it lacked another, necessary, level of development. Something that might take it from a TV drama, to a major motion picture; from a summer read to a real novel. Parallel plot? Psychiatrist's notes or opinion? Something. Missing. Otherwise, great concept for first attempt.

Save Your Money. What a landslide into awful. Not Annie Bear's life but the authors downward landslide of writing and believability of "the twist" that left me saying, "Why did I keep reading this?" The book started out great and I wanted to keep reading it but midway thru it starts getting awful and the ending is beyond terrible. Each chapter is a session at the psychologist's office. The characters have no depth, the ending is pointless, and I felt chaotic with the main character leading you this way & that way and literally tiring me out at the end with her indecisiveness. I thought I might give Chevy Stevens another shot but noticed her next book "Never Knowing" is written in the same fashion with sessions also. The publishers included a preview at the end of Still Missing. Now I see Chevy Stevens' style and I will avoid her other books as well. Don't waste your time reading Still Missing.

Longer than it needs to be. I couldn't hold attention to this one. The idea was good but I think it ran farther than it had to.

Exciting and boring at the same time. The meat and potatoes of the book were incredible, interesting. The therapy sessions of the book left me wanting more meat and potatoes. I wanted to skip over the therapy sessions. But it also left me trying to figure out clues to what was really happening.

Awesome. I couldn’t put this book down, the point of view is really shocking & I did not see the twist coming. This would be an unbelievable movie. Get after it Hollywood!

Loved it. I sampled this for my book club selection but discovered it was a bit too graphic so I wasn’t comfortable making others read it however I could not put it down! The ending was just perfect. You weren’t left with any questions and everything was all tied up. Will definitely be recommending but with some discretion advised.

A heart pounding thriller!. When I first picked up this book I didn't think I was going to like it but boy was I wrong. This book is filled with heart pounding suspense and a gut wrenching story of a girl struggling to move on from being held captive by a psychopath. This book is a must read for someone who likes psychology and loves a mystery that will keep you guessing till the shocking end.
