Great. Such a cool story definitely worth the time

Robinson Cursor. Enjoyed reading this book. Full of adventure and action.

DDot. This is one of the best books I have ever read. Yes, the language is dated but I found it easy to get past this after a few pages. The moral insights and discussions by Defoe are exceptional and cause one to reexamine one's life.

I love it. Classic story worth reading

💖. Favorite book ever Love it!😃❤️😃

ROBINSON CRUSOE NOT LIKE THE MOVIE VERSIONS. I've seen several movie versions of the story of Robinson Crusoe, but the actual book contained many years and much drama in the first few chapters before he was actually cast away, plus the drama of his ultimate rescue wasn't the end of the book, but he lived many more years and another whole life after his rescue, including adventures in Europe. Also, Robinson Crusoe's story contained the understory of his conversion from a callow, sinful, immoral youth to a God-fearing, faithful Christian after his being castaway to the island. The movie versions all omit this very important part of the book because without that conversion, there is no logical explanation for much of Crusoe's behaviour.

Robinson Crusoe. Great classic!

Okay. Not a lot of dialogue. I got bored of it.

Good classic!!!. I love this old classic tale!!:)

Challenging Read, Good Book. Robinson Crusoe is a great novel, but it is definitely a more challenging read that requires time and patience. Daniel DeFoe’s incessant use of commas, semicolons, and excessively long sentences can confuse readers. However, this is a great classic, published in 1719! It takes patience to read this novel; in fact, most people agree that it doesn’t truly get interesting until around Chapter 8-9. Robinson Crusoe discusses in length the cannibalism of some of the Caribbeans, and the shooting of several animals and people. But, it ultimately has a good message and a happy ending!

Robinson Caruso. It is a classic, what could I add?

I'm not a fan of Robinson Crusoe. This book has a lot of hard words that are confusing. The only part I found good was when Crusoe found Friday. -Caroline (age 12) Maryland

A classic tale we all know - well worth a read. Interesting to read this 300 years after it was written. The writing style and some terms took some getting used to but the story telling manner was appealing. It’s a well known classic that should be read.

Boring. Reading this was worse than subjecting myself to 17 hours of torture. So boring there was barely any character development. There was only 1 exciting event and I found that forcing me to watch idiotic musical.lys was more educational, has more health benefits, and didn't make me want to get on life support.

Great classic. If anyone says this is just a boring classic, they probably just don't understand what they are reading. If you can get past the old English it is a very enjoyable book and is worth the time.

Great book. Amazing twists and a good feels book

Robinson Crusoe. Heard of the book growing up and sometimes seen even cartoons about this story.Im now over 50 years old and just reading this classic. It's hard to put down and I love the part where he finally comes to his senses and realizes there is a God who desires a relationship with us and through out life is trying to get our attention vis. Is always knocking at the door of our heart!

Good novel -- bad ebook. Encoding problems on several important passages...worth the free read, but try to find another copy...

So satisfying!. Defoes writing style is akin to Jane Austins although his is more concerned with the intricacies of survival vs success in society. Loved it more than in HIgh School although some if the religious aspects were a bit tedious. Film remake please!

Great. I was obliged to read this for my novel course. It took me a great while and a lot of powering through to finish this, but I find the result rewarding.

AWESOME!!!. This is the best book I have ever read!

Robinson Crusoe. Classic. Much better than the numerous inaccurate and suspensless movie plots. Loved the 300 year old use of language viz. English. Read to your kids.

Thriller. Let's just say you have to read it to experience it 😅LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

Boring. Difficult to understand languge. Author drivels on and on about unnecessary and insignificant details.

Help?. Does anyone know if this is the abridged or unabridged version of this book?

Mr. Very good book. I enjoyed reading.

Robinson Crusoe. A good yarn, but DeFoe's writing style is archaic. You have to really want to read it to wallow through his 500-word sentences and triple negatives.

Robinson Crusoe. Engaging. Thought provoking

Classic as advertised. It’s a great book that keeps the reader intrigued.

True classic for all time.. It has been a while since I have read Crusoe but hard to forget. How does a hopelessly stranded man live and think for decades alone with himself and an island? I like the stuff he creates.

Robinson crusoe. Defoe's imagination runs much wilder than his ability to tell the tale. A Classic I will not be tempted to reread.

A Dry Classic. Understandably important to the history of the novel, this mythic story is never-the-less dry.

Great read. I had difficulty understanding some of the old English language but was able to figure out most it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Boring. Not a very good book for class read aloud. Didn't even finish the book before the end of the year. Boring words. Good if you are in a highly advanced college but nothing else.

Good. It was really good book

Robinson Crusoe. Very interesting and one of the very best I have read.

Robinson Crusoe. This was overall a great and truly enjoyable book! It was quite an adventure and I definitely don't regret reading it. Keeps you guessing and on your toes, wondering what in the world is gonna happen next! Definitely would recommend reading it if you love travel and adventures and stories of the humans ability to survive and keep fighting and carrying on in spite of horrible circumstances and crushing adversity with the help of God, prayer and faith. Very encouraging! Also a great reminder that amazing blessings often come after hardships if you keep fighting and never give up. God always brings you out even better off then you were before if you are faithful and persevere!

Fantastic. Great book

Robinson Crusoe. An entertaining read full of adventure from beginning to end

Robinson Crusoe. Such a wonderful story, I am so glad I got the chance to read and I shall read the second part :)

Over long. Interesting story which is well known but rarely read. Defoe was a Protestant and his religious beliefs were very important to him as is clear from the frequent references. I fell after his rescue Crusoe's adventures were irrelevant to the story and held no interest for me.

A Wonderful Adventure. Was a slow start in first two chapters but after the incredibly visual shipwreck I was hooked. Enjoyed every moment of the book and his adventures. Did not want I to end!!!

So many lessons learnt!. From the beginning to the end, it teaches you what life is and what the living can do.

Robinson Crusoe. Amazing read. I lived every second of it.

A True classic that stands the rest of time. I somehow missed reading this book when I was a child but it was well worth the wait.

Robinson Crusoe. How fantastic to read one of the true classics again. Fascinating to read old English in its original format and to understand the origin of many of our English words.

Robinson Crusoe. I read this whilst on holiday in the Canaries. I had not read this for some 40 years since being a young lad and throughly enjoyed the tale of Crusoe's survival written in old English by Daniel Defoe. I was reminded of several adventures and mishaps endured by Crusoe and Defoe's injections into the story of morality and Christian faith. This is a book of it's time but fits extremely well into today and our world of Bear Gryll and fanciful survival against the odds. I thoroughly recommend refreshing yourself with this classic story as told in a time of imagination and a world less known. Several days of cold beers and hot sunshine in Fuertaventura whilst losing myself on a desert island as Robinson Crusoe was rather fun. Do try it.

Excellent. A best-selling classic for a reason. A great story, wonderfully told.

Fantastic!. I can't believe it was written in 1719.. it's fascinating & varies so differently from how modern novels read.. it's not predictable. I needed to skim the many pages of religious moral awakening (pretty much condenses into guilt about not lowering oneself before God & constantly praising his name), which give insight into the thinking at the time

Like a story told by The old goat at the pub. On and on endlessly extolling some ripping yarn about bravery, savagery, cannibals, wolves and bears. There are pirates, slave traders, mutineers and plenty of God and religion. What more could a reader want. Travelling in exotic and remote places, incredible luck and bad luck etc etc etc.

Robinson Crusoe. Very wordy and sometimes tedious in his descriptions, Daniel Defoe has, nevertheless, written a fascinating account of the times in which he lived. The very English attitudes to people of other races, colours and cultures sounds very dated today - as one would expect and hope. As a 'Boy's Own' adventure story it is full of surprises and infinite detail. A tall tales that has stood the test of time, being still in print, this book is most interesting as a window into a world long since past.

Awesome. This is a great book

Almost over the top, but a great read. It is slower paced than modern books. But it's fascinating in its own way. Had to use the define tool to understand a few of the words that are long gone from today's vocabulary. But overall a good read.

Book. It is a good book you will love it
