God-inspiring. This book is certainly a God-given gift to those who are willing to either render their lives to our kingly Savior or to those who are already journeying in this marvelous Christian path. Thanks to The Lord for this magnificent book.

Must read!. DL Moody has an unparalleled gift with words and the exposition of Scripture. He is able to take passages I've read often and point out truths and principles I've never seen. GREAT BOOK!

Truly a blessing!. I have heard pastor Moody on the radio several times. As I read this book, I could imagine his voice and prayers being spoken. His simple but yet so moving speech will set your heart and mind in instant prayer of joy and thankfulness that he has been chosen to deliver God's message. I for one am glad that I have had a opportunity to listen and read his teachings. Thank you for writing this book Pastor Moody.

Well worth the read.. Short book, easy read - a collection of several of Moody's sermons. This book let's you see a glimpse of who Moody was, and his heart for souls.

A new perspective. Moody brings a new perspective.. Never did I ever think Herod of all the people could have considered change, but alas it's his Sin that kept him from being saved... It's a great read and definitely opened my eyes about a lot of things.... A must read

Men of the Bible. Very inspiring and thought provoking. I thought it would be about the usual famous men in scripture eg. David,Paul,Moses or Joshua. Instead he wrote about the faith of men we tend to think about less often. Perhaps people more like ourselves.

Moody Scores BIG. GOD had His way with Dwight as I pray that GOD would have with me. My abiding love for the Master has a secure berth in His Kingdom. Out of this love I desire to do all I can for my King now just as Mr. Moody. Yes, well written and gripping all the way through. All of Moody's men come to life with his pen.

Must read for Men. The author describes the lives of men who have lived their lives through faithful journeys. This description will carry the modern man in our world today. We must be moved to live with our faith on our sleeves. The pressures of our world are destroying the hearts of men.

Big punch for a little book!. Though it was written 100 years ago it reads just as true as today! Excellent read, quick, easy, with deep meaning and reflection via simple stories and narratives. A must read for believers and people that are just curious too.
