the jungle. I always enjoy a good Cussler. The addition of Lawless fills the need for added fire power and speed, and one would suspect guarantees future books which make the future bright. The plot of the supercomputer living and befriending the Oregon crew is also an addition that will probably surface in the future. Juan Cabrillo seems to make rinds whatever their existence. To the Oregon File followers this book has all that you come to expect of Clive, although the influence of du Brul is evident, the ending was lacking and did not have the typical Cussler flair. all in all I would have to give this a 3 1/2 - 4 star rating.

The Jungle. This is a classic Cussler. Ever since Dirk Pitt and his escapades Clive has given us the same thrills with new characters and stories. This one was entertaining from the start and kept the pages turning to the exciting finish. As always he left you wanting more and a tease of the continuing saga......

The Jungle. A good book and plausible story line. JER

Simply classic Cussler. I was supposed to get this for my birthday but spied it in the house. As soon as I started reading I couldn't put it down. Cussler writes Juan at his best, and I finished the book the same day.

The Jungle. One of the best Clive Cussler books in the Oregon series. In conjunction with one of his writing partners, Mr Cussler's cast of characters, the Oregon's crew, has matured into a very interesting and complimentary group, which interact like a large functional family. The bad guys keep the Corporation busy, with plot and subplots, in The Jungle. The storyline is Fast moving and gripping which makes it difficult to put this book down.

Relaxing read. Nice easy read with enjoyable story line. A few editorial baubles, but easy to get past

Terrible portrayal of Muslims+ rip off from Hal in 2001. And disrespectful when re.ferrying to the bad guy " I will not meet Allah" in this state in the last chapter. Finally the whole " Hal space odyssey 2001 theme " ... Really??? We're in the 21st century and it's been DONE so many times already ... Couldn't the bad guys have been neo nazis or something running around with iPads??? LOL.... I loved the silent sea but hated this one.

Disappointing. This is my third novel by Clive Cussler in this series and I have to say, it is poorly written. He clearly phoned this one in. I'm only about 250 e-pages into it, but the writing is so amateurish it's at the point of distraction. The characters are there, if not a bit over the top, and the timing is fine. It is in the basics, the story telling itself where things can get so messy, you have to ask yourself, "where was the editor?". I don't buy a Clive Cussler novel expecting Shakespeare, I don't even like Shakespeare, but I expect better than this. For example, the following sentence; "The lighting was either tasteful sconces hanging on the wall or cut-crystal chandeliers.". What? Which is it? Simply eliminating the word "either" and switching out the "or" for an "and" would have made for a much better sentence, instead of the puzzle that the author presents. Also, how about "wall sconces" instead of "sconces hanging on the wall"? If that sounds picky to you, ask yourself, have you ever seen a sconce hanging someplace other than a wall? This sentence is just one example of many that represents inexcusable writing from an experienced author. I want my money back.

The Jungle - classic Cussler. Great read. Cussler always weaves what could be the future in hs books. Great stuff.

The Jungle. Modern adversary from parts of the world most people only read about. Worth a read!

Great from start to finish!. You didn't know what would happen next.

Wow. Wow.

The Jungle. First Oregon files I ever read and it was absolutely thrilling in every aspect!

The Jungle. I have been reading Clive Cussler books since I discovered his work many, many years ago. I have enjoyed each and every one but I really became a die hard fan when I discovered the Oregon Files . I have patiently waited for every new book in the series and each time I read the new book and then re-read all of the others in the Oregon Files series. The Jungle, like all of the others became my favorite, and will remain so until I read the next book in the series. The Jungle is a magnificent store and I found it difficult to put it down. I was caught in the conundrum of wanting to read it but not wanting it to end. It is wonderful to immerse yourself into into the world of the crew of the Oregon and to escape reality for awhile. Thank you Juan Cabrillo and crew for the wonderful ride.

The Jungle. Great read. Clive Cussler does it again. Riveting can't put the book down. Chairman Juan outstanding. Like the addition of MacD Hated to finish the read because I know it will be a while before a new story comes along. Loved the idea that the computer is still out there

Real page turner. This is one of Clive's better books. Thoroughly enjoyable, shows he just keeps getting better as a writer.

Best Story. This has been the best book of the series. I could not put it down. Way to go Clive! Keep the comming.

Appropriately Titled. Throw in terrorism, politics, impossible propulsion and a quantum computer that stole lines from an 70's sci-fi movie and call it jungle. I used to read all the Dirk Pitt novels back in the eighties but haven't read Cussler in a long time and decided to give it a try. Either I've matured in my expectations or other people just can't recognize poor writing but this book doesn't deserve your money.

Breath-taking book. This book is a perfect blend of adventure and pure awesomeness. The ending is the best though.

The jungle. The best of the oregon series. Great read start to finish.

Jungle. Action and plenty of it. The problem is the characters are cartoons- not believable people.

Love it. I'm a big Clive fan, but also a big Jack DuBrul fan. This was an excellent combination of both writers skills. I really enjoyed Mercer being worked into the story the way Cussler would put himself in earlier solo books. I think this was the best Oregon series book yet. Please keep them coming!

Mr.. Excellent job once again this time adding a new character and bringing him into the fold. The intrigue and twist were cuss let's best work yet.

Terrible. This is a ridiculously far-fetched story that limps from unbelievable scenario to the next. Riddled with inconstancy and poor continuity. Very disappointing read. Never again!

The jungle. The book was less than the usual Cussler standard. The style is refreshingly new and how the authors bring it all together was very good. The disappointment came from the characters being less than advertised. They made mistakes that should have gotten them retired in one form or another. The plot got predictable at times. For example when the placement of the computer was discussed and analyzed, the method that was going to be used to destroy it was spelled out as well long before the team said what they were going to do. The ending was a surprise being what happened to the key components that made the type of computer possible.

The Jungle. Another excellent Cussler adventure. The Corporation is a kick butttake names outfit, and Clive tells the story well. Buy the book you'll like it.

You will never guess this one!!!!. I have read ALL of Cussler's books and this is the best one! Jack did a great job and what a twist!!!

The Jungle. Very good one of the best

Another great cussler title. Great read with an unexpected ending. Can't wait to see what happens next

Great!. Another great story full of intrigue, excitement, twists, and turns. Cusser has provided another great read. As always I look forward to the next one!

Relax. Good book. Fantastic action, the good guys win. A lot of fun with out having to think to much.

Another Home Run. Mr. C and team have done it once again! A terrific, fast paced read.

Jungle. Good read what you'd expect from Cussler. Crazy ending - either the computer will be in a sequel somewhere or we are missing the last few pages of the book!

The Jungle. I've only read the Dirk Pitt series, so I was hesitant to try this one. I have enjoyed it very much. It is easy to put down, and pick back up without losing too much. The details are great, the action is page turning. The characters I want to get to know better, so I will be looking for more on The Corporation. Thanks, this was a great read. W Hrncir

The Jungle. Clive Cussler's crew of the Oregon hits another home run with this book. The crew takes on a new member.

Tom. A little over the top in terms of believability, but very entertaining.

The Jungle. A great read.

The Jungle. Cushier ought to write his own books again. This one has too many loose ends, confusing connections, and odd attempts at being modern and relevant by using movie scripts. The US politics pieces sound as if written from satellite level rather than within the oval office. If you enjoy Clive Cussler - re-read one of his first books.

Very intense. Clive is da master

Page Turnet. Once you get halfway into this it's a real page turner.

The Jungle. Great book! Twists and turns never expected. Highly entertaining!

Great read. As they say "a real page turner"! One of the best of Cussler's and I read most of his works. Excellent plot twists without giving away any outcomes.

AMAZING FIRST READ. This is the first of Clive cusslers books that I have ever read and may I say it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. My fiancé didn't like it to much cause as she tried talking to me I ignored and kept reading. That's how good it was. Now that it's over, it's time to apologize to my fiancé for ignoring her haha.

Sweet. Awesome would totally recommend to others

Jungle. I am amazed at the imaginative range of the authors. Very easy read. Escapes were challenging but believable. Look forward to the next sailing!!

Jungle. Great suspence and adventure you hold your breath till you know what's next. Then you start all over again

The Jungle. Another five star for Mr. Cussler. I have read all of his books and this one is in the top three! I strongly recommend.

Interesting....... To say the least. Somewhat of a departure from Cussler's normal genre, but a good read. Hopefully, there will be more to come from the "Corporation" in the future.

Jungle. Jungle is probably the best of Cussler writing. Never stop adventure with lots of twist. Story line is believable because of the writing and story development.

Really enjoyable. Written well, very interesting and overall a joy to read.
