Awesome Book!. Guys, been following you for a while and do not write many reviews, this one was a must. Unforgettable read!!! It lets us know we are not crazy at HCi. I have been in the corporate arenas you speak of for over 15 years with the "dynamic cultures" and the likes. They don't mean the first word of it. Ah, how simple!. This book nails it when it comes to simplifying your business. Such a breath of fresh business management air. I’ve been Slacking excerpts to my management team from almost every page. (Yes, they are reading it too) Real, fresh, actionable, nicely done!

Great Book! Easy Read! Great Info. I read some of the reviews here and I can picture anyone who doesn't give this book a five star is probably older and at the end of their career. If you dont think this book is great after reading it, you have issues. Everything mentioned in this book is what makes companies successful now a days. Take a look at Microsoft, their old ways keep them in the same old crappy boat yet companies with the rework model like 37signals, MailChimp, Apple, Facebook, Google and many other are at the top of their game. This book is worth every penny. Thanks 37signals, great book.

Great for all business large and small. As a consultant, I have worked at companies of all sizes. From AOL to 3 person companies. They all run into the pitfalls described in the book. Even if you don't want to start your own business, read this. It will help you transform your current environment.

Good ideas, but little real life detail. I don't know that I object to any of the assertions in this book, but that's all they are - assertions. There is almost nothing backing them up. No data. Not even specific stories from the company. That's what disappointed me most. There is a real unique story and lessons in what they achieved, but not enough of that comes through here for me to really learn from that.

Great Book!. Very down to earth book and a great read. It's very helpful in looking at business differently and minimizing stress when starting and maintaining a small business. I would definitely recommend this book!

It's ok. This is a business book written by very successful Y2k geeks. They basically do everything the opposite of what's normally done in business, act nonchalant about and expect us to believe that their approach is something that works. Bleh.

Its an ok book. The book is ok, a few new views, but nothing revolutionary.

Different view. Takes a complete opposite approach than 99% other leadership books. While his ideas are worthy not all would stand up in a traditional business model… but that may be his point?! Almost becomes comical to start a new chapter and see the title and know exactly what the author will say!

Different Way of Looking at Business and Life. I like the way the authors' challenge the status quo of being traditional. We live in a much different society today. You don't need to have 20 people to start a business anymore. Technology has taken care alot of things for the "STARTER" (not entrepreneur) We should be thankful and embrace the new world of business we live in because it's only going to get better.

Quick and insightful read. This was a great read. Main points I took away: hiring is a guessing game, remote work opens your options for great people, eliminate meetings that do not have specific goals and an agenda.

Over priced for length.. Thought it was a good read. It is very short in length but it has some solid principals. Brings clarity for a startup business in the software industry, less so than some other industries.

Must read if you are in SaaS. This book is a must-read for anyone looking to work in SaaS (software as a service), online business, or want to simply run your company better. Avoid the pitfalls that most businesses go through and read this book first. After I read this book, I bought 10 copies to give away, and they're all gone!
