Kill Alex cross. Another hard to put down book, however,it was different from most Patterson books as the ending left me looking for more. This story didn't have much of a twist, and really not much to do with killing Alex cross! It was only mentioned I think twice in the whole book and never attempted. So I felt the title didn't really depict the story line. I knew what was coming and how it would end, but I wasn't expecting it to JUST END. All in all a good read but not my favorite cross book....looking forward the PRIVATE!

Great book. But the ending was fair

Kill Alex Cross. Kill Alex Cross ended with one of my favorite detectives still very much alive, but this book killed him for me. The plot must have been designed by a committee using "cut and paste" to string together enough words to make the Christmas book market. What a waste of my time and money!

Disappointed. I am a huge fan of James Patterson but I find that his books are coming out too fast and as such they are losing substance. There was absolutely no plot to "Kill Alex Cross" so I really don't understand the title of the book ... James take a break then come again ... We expect better from you

Disappointed 😢 Save Your $$$. I'm sorry to say...After being a fan through the entire series, this was my last. This book was a real disappointment. What happened to the ending? Was Patterson in a hurry? The last two "Alex Cross" books were not what fans have come to expect and I won't waste my money on this crap! Time to catch up with John Grisham

Huge Disappointment. I have read every Alex Cross book James Patterson has written. This story was all over the place and lacked focus. The story line was choppy and the ending left me feeling very disappointed. If you cannot wait to read it, I recommend to borrow a copy from your local library and save your money.

Kill Alex Cross. Wow- what a mess! If this is one of Patterson's " best " , it kind of makes me wonder how he keeps getting published.

Terrorism in DC. Anytime children are included in the drama/ mystery, it can be more intense. Loved that the children were the son & daughter of the President and First Lady. International terrorism strikes a modern day chord.

Alex cross. First book of the series I have read can't say It did not hook me.

Must read. It started out slow, but once you start reading I will say 100 pages you won't want to put the book down. A great read!!!

Roxiefan. Well for those just getting into Patterson this wasn't a bad book but I have read all of the Patterson books and found this to be the same version of another book. I thought the title, "kill Alex Cross" would indicate something but it didn't. It was a good book but not the Patterson I love to read.

Just a shadow. I've read most if not all of the Alex Cross books & must say that I was somewhat disappointed. The story was thinly flushed out and the ending seemed rushed and incomplete. I'll think twice before my next purchase.

LOVED it!!!. Someone gave me a copy of this on my way to a deployment and it made me a fan- kept my attention with every page turned. What else should I read?!

Disappointing. I really wanted to like this book but constantly felt as though I was wasting time waiting for something to happen. No real development happens here. We wait, follow obvious leads, get evidence from nowhere and wrap it up uneventfully. Alex's emotions run inconsistent throughout the book making it more a chore that joy to read. Too bad. If this is the treatment this character deserves perhaps it's time to really kill Alex Cross.

So So. Patterson is one of my favorite authors and I enjoy the Alex Cross novels the most. That being said, this book is lacking that really good storyline associated with the Cross novels. It's like that thrill in the plot never really ascends to the level it should have. In short there seem to be no real climax to me, therefore mid-way to the end of this novel was somewhat fizzled out.

Absolutely terrible!. I haven't read Patterson in quite some time, and decided to give him another chance. What a waste of money!! I will NEVER read another Patterson book. It was boring, predictable and the ending lacked imagination. Patterson is obviously cranking out books in order to increase his profits. Save your money on this one!

Kill Alex Cross. After 40 years of trade journals, reading a good book now and then has come back into my retired life. Patterson's "Kill Alex Cross" didn't let me down. Thrilling from the first chapter with twists and turns along the way to keep me glued to our hero Cross. Patterson's skill as a writer was firing on all levels of a great detective. Can't wait to pick up another Patterson adventure.....

Missed. I wrote before his books were the same but this one wasn't I loved it. Kind of, i llove Alex cross books but this one seemed short on my iPad. I have to say preview of the next book seems the same s??t. But I'll buy it any way and be bored. I guess I am programed to buy his books.

Kill Alex Cross. I wish I could get a refund! This book was a total disappoint. All of the characters were shadows of their former selves. In previous Alex Cross novels the suspense kept you turning the pages and the criminal and Alex always seem to be caught in a macabre dance. They were exciting. This novel was not. I say bring back the real Alex Cross!

Huge Disappointment. This book was such a disappointment. The plot was thin and predictable and the book just seemed to ramble on. I can't imagine why others rated this with five stars. If you're a big Alex Cross fan, which I am, then you will not be satisfied with this one.

Action on each chapter. Great book, easy to read as it let you stop whenever you like due to very short chapters. The history becomes very intriguing and catches you from the first chapter, never letting you go until the end.

Couldn't believe I was at the end. Big James Paterson/Alex Cross fan but this is the biggest let down I mean the ending was as dry words fail me. I searched the internet wondering did I buy and download the wrong version of the book. I feel very disappointed after reading the first 27 preview chapters and could hardly wait to read the other remaining chapters. The explanation of why the kids where taken was weak at best the capture and killing of Glass lacked the usual James Patterson creativity. Very very very disappointed. I am now hesitant to get a copy of the book "Private". Did I mention this book was on my Christmas wish list! Ugh

Kill This Book!. If ever an author could be guilty of mailing it in, Patterson did in Kill Alex Cross. It's as if the fourth runner up to take over the series when Patterson 'moves on' wrote this thin gruel. No character development; poor plot development and weak ending. Save your money!

Kill Alex Cross. Has James Patterson ever written a bad book? I don't think so. This one os no exception. It is a non-stop ride from beginning to end. JP displays unheard-of insight into every subject he tackles. I suggest you find a cozy corner, put on the coffee pot, and get involved in this book!

Addictive. Another amazing novel by James Patterson, the Alex Cross novels are so addicting. By far my favorite series of books, and also my favorite author, he never fails to hook me and make me feel as though I was living the stories. 5 stars, another fabulous book.
