Seriously.... I love it!!!!(;. Yes buy it!! I haven't seen Ellen's show in awile but this book reminded me of how much I love her.. And how much she is like dory from finding nemo.. Haha.. I am reading this for a book report and I have been reading in class and I have busted out laughing many times.. And gotten looks all at the same time.. Prefect book!!!!<33!!!!

I'm not kidding. Read this book if you want to relax and have a good time. I certainly did. The world should have more people like Helen. It will be a better place.

Seriously...I love it!!. I enjoyed reading this book so much! It's so funny it left me laughing out loud ! Every time I'm in a bad mood I just grab this book and start reading it, It always makes me feel happy! Ellen never fails to make me happy :) I don't know why some people didn't like it that much but i highly recommend it.

Disappointing. I agree with the other reviews. I am a big fan of Ellen. She is a great person and has a great show. This book was very disappointing. It has nothing to do with her life, it's just a bunch of rambling thoughts on different subjects. Those jokes would be funny and charming if she was saying them on her show. They are not reading them in a book that I just wasted $12.99 on. I unfortunately could not recommend this book to anyone. If I had bought a regular book and not an iBook I would be heading to the store to return it ASAP. Ellen I am a big fan but this was a real dud. :/

Hilarious!. This book is great! I definitely recommend getting the audio version though. In the audio Ellen narrates and she makes it so much funnier! For example, there is an entire chapter of her making noises! It's a great in-between carefree book. I highly recommend it.

A real funny book!. If you want to really really laugh, have a great time, relax and be happy, buy this book and read it!!! Thanks, Ellen for a great job. Two thumbs up.

Is it done yet?. I was super excited to read Ellen DeGeneres's book "Seriously I'm Kidding". It was not what I thought it was going to be. While it started out funny - halfway in a got to be redundant and exhausting to read. The summary of every single chapter has been summed up in a 20 second PSA on TV or written on those horrible posters inside your former elementary school. I was waiting for the next chapter to read go sit in the corner with the dunce cap on or go to the principals office - it would've been my childhood nightmare coming true again. The only way I can recommend this book is if you like standing and staring at the microwave waiting for your chicken pot pie to be finished. However, if you value your time don't waste it on this.

Love. I just love Ellen DeGeneres. Not only is Ellen funny, she gives great advice and shares some awesome information. I read this book in less than two days. I loved it and had so much fun reading it.

Great advice. As always Ellen has something to say but she delivers it in her gentle, non-threatening way. Lots of chuckles throughout and lots of truths. Enjoy.

Funny, but not funny. Ellen has some good points and good stories, but they are mired by scatter brained tangents that lose focus. The book is written like her monologue on her talk show, so this would be a much better audio book... if she recorded it herself

I Love Ellen. I don't get much time to read and this is the 1st book I've purchased and downloaded on iBooks. I'm so glad I did! I just love Ellen! I watch her show Mon-Fri and this book did not disappoint. She is so hilarious and brings much needed smiles and laughs to my life :)

Ellen's new book. Well by the time I'm writing this review her book isn't exactly new, but it was to me as I was reading it. Her book included every thought I was thinking...seriously, I'm kidding. If you want to laugh outloud, focus on joy rising, and better understand texting language, this book is a must read!

Fell short. I truly am a fan of Ellen and I am not a big reader but I had to get into something with the cold weather approaching. I picked this book dying to read it and getting into the middle it was hard to even want to finish it. It wasn't all that funny and most of it was babbling....I even began skimming some pages! I was disappointed but, that will not stop me from reading her other books. I love all that Ellen does for people and what she stands for. If she writes another book hopefully she can redeem herself.

So boring. I couldn't wait for it to end. Furious I wasted my money on it!

A good light read. Maybe I was expecting too much from this book when I first purchased it. It's not bad, but wasn't spectacular enough to make me want to rate it any higher. If you are searching for some light humour then this is it. There were certainly numerous fun moments that put a smile on my face. Also, the book was rather short and could be finished in a day or so. I wished it was longer to make my money's worth.

Meh. I love Ellen - her show, her spunk and what she stands for. But I agree with many others, this is all fluff. It's not about her or her life much. It's more a stand up routine put in short, broken chapters. Funny, yes. But more like bubble gum than a meal.

Seriously...Are you kidding?. Some readers are complaining because there isn't enough about Ellen and her "real" life in this book. Why should there be? Her life is none of our business. What she does provide is the humor she finds in life. And in doing that she encourages us all to lighten up and loosen the sphincter. I love her humor. For those of you who complained about the length and price, you should have read the description. It tells you how many pages it contains, and you could have gotten the sample...it's free. Seriously!

Ellen is the funniest person alive.. Though I have not met every single person alive, I'm relatively sure Ellen is the funniest person out there. Just thought you should know

Not worth the hype or the money. I read the book and was expecting so much more, its so light that is almost anoying. Its a book full of fillers like she had three days to finish the book and had to start putting junk and nonsense into it, im a fan of Ellens humor but this is highly dissapointing

Fun easy read!!. Ellen's book is written just as if she were speaking to you. If you enjoy Ellen, you will enjoy this book. Great for the beach or when you just want se fun light reading.

Seriously.im kidding. This book is lame and a huge disappointment. I'm a fan of Ellen but this is ridiculous and she could make better use of her time and my money.. I bought it at a time I was low and eventually gave up in disgust. Such a waste all around..

Not very memorable. Uninspired, unimaginative, unfunny and, most of all, unremarkable. Ellen fails to present any new or original thoughts on any important subject and her humor falls flat.

Great. I love Ellen's show and although I don't get to watch it every day, when I do I ALWAYS LOL. I never laugh out loud at tv shows but I do when I watch Ellen. This book is like watching her show but you have to picture her saying it. It makes it more funny. I should have bought the audio version. Overall, very funny (as usuaul) and full or ramblings and getting off topic, in between truthful life lessons. I love Ellen!
