Perfect Timing. This book came to me at a time when I really needed it. I learned so much and it was so inspirational to me during a very hard time in my life. I owe that to God and I owe it to Joel Osteen for writing this book and encouraging me to move forward at this valley in my life.

He is not a Christian. This guy is not a Christian. He says he is but it's always "be happy for yourself" and not "be happy for God." His focus is all ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME. No Christian should read any of his books

Not Christianity, Self-Help. Joel Osteen is a good motivational speaker, but as someone who is going to seminary to become a minister, it is necessary to step forward to make the distinction between self-help (under the presumed banner of Christianity) and the Christian faith. There is nothing wrong with this book in essence, but it is necessary to understand that Osteen isn't an ordained pastor - meaning he hasn't sought a higher degree in ministry. He is good at the self-help stuff, but shouldn't be confused with your local pastor/minister and congregational life. Look to him for life issues, but spiritual stuff should be dealt with with a pastor/minister in person! Osteen tells you to follow God for the wrong reasons…only you can choose to follow God, and for only the right reasons IN YOUR LIFE, not ANYONE ELSE'S!

Lighten Up!. Some so-called Christians are the most bitter, unhappy people I've ever met. They are missing God's message and that's sad to me. If you find negativity in this book, or Joel, you really need to find a new pastor because you just aren't getting it. No, we can't be happy 100% of the time because there are times for mourning and other heartaches. If you don't have the common sense to understand that then no book will help you. I feel sorry for those who gave a negative review. You really need to ask God to change your bitter heart. WTG Joel! Great book and as always, great message!

It's Friday for sure! Exciting, anticipating the blessings of his next great work.. God flowed through Joel. He did it again, what a terrific book, if you need a bit of encouragement, love and this is the book it will challenge you to live love and laugh and expect God"s handful of blessings, thanks be to God for Joel Osteen for writing this book at such a time as this. Joel’s new book is very inspirational!. It was great as usual. There was nothing really new. But it helps to hear it often as a constant reminder as what we should do.. I all ways feel great after reading his books.

I feel really good inside. I love hearing about myself all the time. I think good thoughts about me all day and do go things for others when I can stop thinking about myself and thats probably never. Gret job Joel on all your message, they are not very biblical or sound doctrine, But Hey who needs that anyway, the bible is a old book any how, maybe Joel should write a new bible and we could arrive and become Joelitians. YES...... I used to think about jesus, but after hearing Joel I thought to myself who needs jesus anyway I got Joel. And even better than him I got ME, and I feel fine.

So wonderful. Nobody cheers me up, lifts my spirit and inspires me to become my best me like Joel Osteen. I feel so blessed to live at the same time as him and get to enjoy all he has to offer! One day I will take my daughter to meet him. Thank you, Joel!

Reviews. I hated to see it end. I truly enjoyed reading page after page as I began my morning. Joel sees the glass half full and has helped me continue to see life this way.

Positive energy. This book is helping me to realize my many blessings, it could not be any any easier. Only started reading this yesterday and already feel uplifted from my depression! Thank you Joel!

Wrong Motives for following Christ. We follow God because HE IS THE ONE WHO DESERVES TO BE WORSHIPPED. He is our motivation, not happiness in this lifetime. Yes, He gives us peace, joy, happiness as gifts but many people who followed Him well in the Bible had true grief, sadness, anguish (Our perfect Christ, himself) That is part of living in this world. We should have times of being grieved that others don't know Him and that the world is broken. We should have times of joy that He is our King and that He lets us live another day. But our emotions (happy or sad) are not the reason we love Him. We love Him because He first loves us.

Joel Osteen New book rocks!. I get amazed about how many people out there envy Pastor Joel Osteen. They just wish they were used by God as much as he is. His new book is a great one full of hope and positivism. If any review of Joel book is below 4 stars just be aware of people who work for God's competitor. They represent the evil. Shame on them pharisees!

Gratitude. I am normally not a book reader. I love to read other sources of material but not really books. I heard about this book and thought I should read it. My family has been through a lot of changes over the last year. We put our home of 15 years up for sale and decided to move. The Lord blessed us by selling our home in about a week. Our new home would not be ready for 2 months. We lived in a hotel for those two months while our daughters finished the school year. My wife and I were worried about our two daughters adjusting to new schools, making new friends, etc. Everything could not have worked out any better. They made new friends quickly and are happy. My wife's business is doing well but I felt my career path was not what I wanted. Reading this book has put everything into perspective and made me thankful for what God has blessed me with. I see my blessings more clearer now and know he is in control. Theron Williams

Smile. This book will convince you to try to at a minimum catch yourself being negative. Over time, with practice I will be a more positive person. I won't feel guilty about my blessings because they come from God.
