Gets you a good laugh. I didn’t expect to like it at first. But Tina’s got a good sprinkling pot light hearted humor throughout the book.

My Favorite. I honestly cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is my favorite. No matter how many times I read it, I still laugh out loud.

Bossypants. Of course Tina Fey is a good writer, that is what she does. But I was surprised and amazed, she is a great writer. Wise and brutal and hilarious with perfect pacing, like a live performance. Stunning.

Great. It was funny, sweet, & inspirational.

Interesting. I wish it pulled me in a bit more... Overall great book

My first book. I have never read any English before this book. Bossypants is a great introduction to the language. In case a word or phrase may confuse you please refer to the photos or notes at the end of the book for context clues. Tina, you are very funny and extremely beautiful. One day I hope to host SNL the same night you return to Weekend Update with Jimmy to break the news of America's first gay female president. Headline reads "From she to shining she" with a photo of Mrs. President and the second lady holding America in their palms. *My favorite moments of yours are from 30 Rock. Whenever you raise your voice, protrude your belly, and make an uncomfortable face it feels like I get to watch you and not Liz. I'll only know once I meet you and buy you a dozen cupcakes while picking your brain (metaphorically…I may be from FL but I'm not crazy). Can't wait to watch your new films and read your upcoming books. Mike Buonaiuto Jr.

Funniest book I've ever read.. Seriously

I'm laughing out loud. I laughed out loud many times and had to read full pages aloud to my husband. When I read the chapter "Growing up and liking it" I remembered finding that book in my big sister's drawer and wondering...."what the heck" ( we didn't use the "F" word in those days! Anyway, I love you, Tina Fey and hope you keep on writing and doing what you do. Congrats on the new little one, I am sure you will have lots more to write about now!

Laugh 'till you pee. This was, by far, one of the most hilarious books I've ever read... Despite that I've never really read any other funny books, I'm still pretty sure this book is probably still, at least, kinda funny.. Don't think too hard about it, just read it.

Higher Hopes. Feel like Mrs. Fey really shorthanded her readers with stories and experiences at SNL and 30 Rock, there was also no mention of movies she was a part of or hosting award shows. It's an okay book but very passive throughout. Wouldn't have hurt to get a better insight on both her personal and professional life. She played it very safe and sometimes that hurts more than it helps. Would recommend a pass on reading this one. ~ I'm male BTW

Best thing since self-serve ice cream. I laughed so hard with this book that my husband banished me to another room because he could not hear the television. That's the hallmark of a funny book. Thanks, Tina Fey!

Interesting. I for sure love comedy and I know the Tina Fey can make me laugh. This book keeps my nose in it for a long time and I can say, this story of her life is funny and interesting. I recommend you read this if you like to laugh!

Hilarious!. Lol'd when I was in class and almost got busted for reading when I should have been listening!

Made me laugh. I love tina fey and enjoyed reading more about her life and am still a fan of hers. I think I wasn't quite sure what I was reading at first, all the short stories and chapters were pieces of her life but it was a little too scattered and random for me, but a lot of it tied in during later chapters. I still laughed and enjoyed the read, just wasn't my favorite.

Loved it. My type of humor all the way. A great read and a welcome escape from academic research. I was sad when I finished. Highly recommended!

Absolutely Fantastic!. I have always loved Tina, theater, and *interesting* autobiographies. This book has a mix of all, and, as a special bonus, every page includes embarrassing facts and "light" humor. Enjoy!

Laughed the entire time!. I Ioved this book! I'm not much of a reader. Tina gives me reason to believe that there really are interesting books out there. ;-)

Bossy Pants. This book is remarkably entertaining. The unflinching narrative on her formative experiences offers enlightenment in a fast, fun read. Her take on excelling in male dominated settings without compromising self or spirit offer more and better insight than any self help or management book. I loved it.

Loved it. Tina Fey writes with a real woman's voice! I loved it, and related to so many parts, usually the embarrassing or gross parts....

A+++++++++++++++++++++++. This book is a literal masterpiece. If you are a feminist, comedy fan, or human being you need to read this. I read this on the plane and scared everyone around me with my frequent (and very loud) laughter. It's funny, real, insightful, and relatable. Tina Fey is my hero.

Funny. It was a pretty funny book. Lots of personal stories on her upbringing and going through her days at SNL and 30 Rock.

Bossypants. LOVED this book. It made me laugh so hard I cried every other chapter, and I peed myself a little every third chapter or so. Tina Fey is so talented and witty. I often imagine we are best friends, living in New York, our babies playing together.

Smart and funny and witty. A really wonderful read, I love Tina Fey's voice and point of view. "They " ( I don't know exactly who 'they' is, but those who set the rules on such things) should make this mandatory reading for girls age 13 & and up. Tina is funny, smart, witty (not very good with the adjectives, sorry about the repeat). I'm just so proud to be a woman, knowing there are those like Tina Fey out there too. Thanks for sharing your pov Tina!

Bossy pants. This book started out VERY FUNNY. However, in my opinion, it went downhill from there. Not bad, just not funny.

bossypants. I have missed laughing reading Erma Bombeck books. This is the first book that I have laughed out loud and annoyed those around me, since her last book. It was worth getting into a spat with my husband as I would not let him use the iPad till I was finished with this book. Please write more

Awesome!. Very funny, easy read

Very Entertaining!. Not only is this book wildly entertaining, it is fun to read, keeps you engulfed and on the side low key teaches you life lessons for everyone to learn! Must read! You won't regret it.

Not hilarious. I really thought this would be much funnier. I laughed some, bit was disappointed.

Strong & Funny. There were definitely moments when I laughed out loud. A lot of them. I enjoyed reading about the rise of a hard-working, determined, awkward, silly, and real woman. In her honest stories and thoughts, there are words of wisdom for success in this world. It was a joy to read.

Laughed the whole way through.... What a fabulous picture of reality... I loved every chapter, laughed and got every joke, generational or decade reference and felt like I was reading the words that are in my own head by with a much funnier cover and perfect timing. Ms. Fey, you are delightful. Thanks for sharing.

Bossypants. I loved this book. My long suffering family dutifully laughed as I read almost all of it aloud to them so they loved it too. Bossypants, you are one of us.

Great Read. I am not a big fan of SNL, just not my type of humour, but am a huge fan of 30 Rock. Love, love, love this book. Smart, funny, witty, honest.

Bossypants. Tina can be humorous but it is over shadowed by foul language which is a distraction. Carol Burnett, Lucille Ball & other famous comedienne's did not have to resort to foul language to gain popularity & respect from the fans. Tina, be funny but still be a lady - it has been done!!

Humanly hilarious. This book is a great insight in to one of the funniest people in comedy today and gives you a chance to laugh and empathize realizing we're all a little Fey.

Writing = good! Tech = bad.. Tina Fey can write the hell out of a book. This piece of writing was funny, touching, smart, (not overly)political, sexy and smelled like donuts. The enhanced bit malfunctioned, which sucked out loud and distracted me from the good bits. The sound clip was funny, but about 80% of the photos didn't render, causing jokes to go flat due to lack of reference and making me concentrate on thinking "Is that bit a cow on fire or a photo of her Grandma?" Otherwise a tour de force

Loved this!. Clever, insightful, funny, funny, funny. It makes me proud to be a middle-aged, funny woman myself. I read chunks of this to my husband and he laughed out loud, too. Then we watched Tina and Amy do Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton on You Tube, and both of us guffawed. Great fun. Great stress-reducer.

Starts strong. Great for the first 3/4. If you don't finnish it, don't sweat it.

Comical, engaging, interesting read. Tina Fey makes this, not only an easy read, but an enjoyable read. If you enjoy her on tv, you'll love this book. You can read the sarcasm on every page, and that's not easy to convey! I applaud "Bossypants" for being a humorous and realistic book. Her stories of growing up, work, marriage, being mom and everything in between were great!
