Book. Well very good book I know sixx's pain people laugh and make jokes about my daughter because she is different but like I tell her all the time she is beautiful and to always remember life is beautiful no matter what

This is Gonna Hurt!. OMG! Nikki has out done himself. I read the book, then bought one for my friend that was in the hospital withdrawing.... It changes lives. Just when you need it, Nikki will make you laugh, bring you to tears, and inspire you to move on. My favorite book of the year! Pictures are amazing, so much talent packed into one man is just not fair, give me some of that! Love the book, love Nikki. A must must must read.

Photographers and Therapy. While, I bought this book on the premise that it would focus more on Nikki's photography (I am a photography grad student, and I like to see other's work) it was his words that hit me hard in some aspects. As if you are privy to a therapy session, without realizing you have a lot to work on, too. I have recommended this book, and will continue to do so. But...at the same time, more photographs should have been included. Good work, Nikki.

Very very good. I'd read Nikki first book The Herion Dairies and was blown away by his story. Then came this book and it has given me a new prospective on looking at people that might look a little different than your average person. So, thanks for that and this book is a must read.

Not a sequel to The Heroin Diaries. Before I started reading This Is Gonna Hurt I feared it was going to be a lame attempt at a sequel to Nikki Sixx's excellent first book The Heroin Diaries. Upon reading, my concerns were put to rest. The original concept for This Is Gonna Hurt was that it was going to be a book of Nikki Six's photography, with passages explaining the photos, but at some point in the project the reverse occurred. Instead the photographs have become a visual interpretation of his words. My only request would have been more photographs.

Not even a fan.. I didn't even know who the author is, but it made no difference. I was intrigued by the title, so I downloaded a sample and was immediately impressed. So I purchased the book and read it through. It is a good head turner for anyone who is feeling down, regardless of the reason. The only thing I didn't like was the poor quality of the photographs. They are so small that it is impossible to see any detail. It's a shame, because I know Nikki would want everyone to be able to see the detail better. Regardless, this is a good read.

Probably one of the best books I've read. My title speaks for itself. An honest look at life, no matter how bad it seems, is beautiful. 5 stars Nikki!!

Radical yet Distinguished!. About half way through already and I just purchased today. Very inspiring and thoughtful. Spend the extra $ and get the Enhanced version. Very Good!

Amazing. This really is a amazing and inspiring book I could not put it down once I got started. I did not think it was possible to top the heroin diaries and he just might have done it ! Thank you Nikki sixx for another great adventure!

Amazing!!!. I loved it just as much -or maybe a little more than- The Heroin Diaries! Nikki Sixx is definitely my hero! Most kids my age -which is 12- would say their mom or dad is their hero but Nikki Sixx has won me! I absolutely love him & this book!! <3

Great Read. This was a very entertaining yet extremely well written book. I have always like Nikki and how he conveys his creativity. So much depth and color !! Great book Nikki !!!

WHOA!. Pretty self-indulgent. But isn't that our beloved Nikki Sixx?? Oh yes, he is like an onion with many layers and I love every single one of them. In a day where every book is written with the same old, same old ho hum subjects, this one takes you in so many directions. I absolutely LOVED it! Couldn't put it down! I hope he's working on sharing the next chapters of his life, and until then, I will be here anxiously waiting!!

Little Piece of Nikki. Just like the Heroin Diaries before it, This is Gonna Hurt is a look into the sometimes public, sometimes private life of this man I have come to admire greatly. This book has challenged the way that I interpret beauty and see everyday life. I love the brutal honesty Nikki shares with the reader. He can really make one feel like he/she has truly had an intimate experience with with him. Brian
