Finally!. I pre-ordered this book months ago and was thrilled to finally see it on my reading shelf... Along with fun, gory story lines that are characteristic of the series (and the wonderful thrill a witch thrown in once and awhile for good measure), the "In Death" series has it all! J.D. Robb's brilliant and witty spin in this book is delightful not only because it gets to poke fun at itself because of the self-referentiality but it also provides a unique glimpse into the inner workings of the media in all it's glory. The character development of Eve Dallas never fails to fascinate. Eve is a self made woman who fulfills her heroic potential by having the courage to face her traumatic childhood to love and trust again. Robb has created wonderful complex characters that we grow to care about along with Eve and never fails to surprise. I'm in for the long haul... Keep them coming!

Just ok. This one was just okay. I am usually a huge fan if the In Death series, but this book was predictable, and not really up to the usual standard I have come to expect.

who took over?. for J D? this is a different writer. after about 200 books you can spot a fake. too bad. but after 200 books, understandable.

So-So. Not her best work. It dragged some and felt formulaic. I've read every other book in the In Death series and typically, I really enjoy them. But somehow this one just didn't have a compelling plot and it lacked character development. Overall, not one I'd recommend. I hope the next one serves as a better reflection of the authors great story telling skills.

Another good book!. Another good book to add to the in death series. I have read all of the series over the last year and I was instantly addicted. It's a great read with a great mixture of sex and action!!!! Can't wait for the next one!

Dull in Comparison. I've listened to every book in the series and Celebrity in Death is bland compared to the books before it. I was greatly disappointed by the plot of this book. It wasn't particularly poorly written but lacked some of the development. The only interesting part was the real character/celebrity relations. Though it introduces a ton of extra characters pretty much off the bat, which was a bit brain numbing. It was simple. Bland in comparison to the others because it lacks the intensity some of the older books have, but this book standing alone is decent.

Celebrity in Death. As always I enjoyed reading a nag this book by J D Robb. She’s an unbeliever writer when it comes to developing charters, both good, bad or characters to be used developing the plot.

Celebrity In Death. What a great read! I enjoy books that bring me back to earlier books in the series and this definitely does. I also like the development of Eves relationships with Peabody and Nadine.

"Celebrity In Death", AWESOME!. I absolutely love the 'In Death' series with Eve Dallas, Roarke and all the other characters J D Robb has expertly developed in these books. I started with the initial trilogy and have read every "In Death" book at least once! Not only are the mysteries great in these books, but the relationships, humor and psychology of the murderers always fascinate me. Celebrity In Death is another slam dunk by (Nora Roberts) J D Robb, and I wish she could write one every month! I read every day, almost all of the top mystery novels (James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Iris Johansen, Jonathan Kellerman, James Rollins, David Baldacci, and Catherine Coulter to name a few), and J D Robb is my all time favorite hands down! Thank you Nora Roberts for bringing me another incredible novel to completely absorb myself in! Eve Dallas is such an incredible character.... I really wish they would make these books into TV shows or movies. They are so much better than Prime Suspect based on the books by Lynda La Plante! Keep writing Nora! Please keep the In Death series a priority because this reader loves them!

Delusion in death. I have enjoyed all.of Nora Roberts, J.D.Robb books. All the characters come to life for me. Eve and Rourke are the ideal couple.

I want to be Eve Dallas. While this was not my favorite in this series it was pretty good. Slow in the middle. Great interaction between Peabody and McNabb I love their relationship. Nadine is back and her fabulous self. I always think these books need more Mavis, she is such a character. Fun story line around Eve's new coat.

Fantastic. Another great job by J.D. Robb. Now the only thing better is to see these all in "Vid" too.

Celebrity in Death. Not up to par. Characters are not as fully-developed as usual; internal dialogues of Eve and Roark are limited...less emphasis on them and too much on plot. Ok but disappointing. I'm always looking forward to learning more about the main characters and this didn't deliver. Even the one intimate scene seemed perfunctory.

Love it. I love all of the in death series and this is the best one yet!! Keep em coming!!!

As usual.... Nora Roberts has done an excellent job of telling a story of murder and deception. The novel is a quick read containing suspense, intrigue, and a delightful amount of humorous dialogue. Enjoy!

Another winner!!. Another fabulous read in the in death series! I couldn't stop reading! My only disappointment is reaching the end of the book and having to wait for the next one!!!!

Celebrity in death. Another page turner from JD Robb. Aka Nora Roberts. I could read her novels for days. She is such a prolific writer that I am sure I will be able to Preorder her next book soon.

Great. Yet another really good in death book!

Celebrities can Also Kill. First there’s a twist, then there’s more deaths than she first expected, then Dallas has to prove what she already knows. Not always an easy task.
