Life changing!!!. I highly recommend this book. It's changed the way we run our household and also the life of my youngest. This book isn't just for parents of strong willed children but for all parents. Not religious? There isn't an over powering amount of God-speak.... The messages and lessons in this book are priceless. This book has given me a hope in raising my little ones that I had thought died out. The techniques or tools provided actually work!! They work immediately!! I noticed changes in my children-all of them-from the moment I started reading this book (though I have to admit that I didn't set it down until chapter 4 or 5). I look forward to reading Dare to Discipline and Raising Boys.

A must read. This has been my "handbook" for the past few weeks as we have entered the season of "Kindergarden"! This book was so intriguing, literally filled with divine wisdom... I could not put it down! I am more equipped as a Mother because of the knowledge shared. James Dobson is brilliant to say the least, my family is so thankful for this faithful servant!

Great Book. I have a strong willed child, and this book comes with great wisdom and advice. Recommend for any parent dealing with a strong will child.

Must read. James Dobson is n amazing person. This book made me feel for the first time that I was not the only mom dealing with a strong willed child. I actually cried because so many of the moms in this book are going through the same thing. A strong willed child is just more of everything. But this book gave me hope. Hope that there is always a new day and that my child is not abnormal just strong willed.
