Drew me...I'm hooked!. The story started slow and took a while to grab me but once I was in I was caught. That feeling has been justified as I've been pulled in even tighter with books 2 and 3 (getting ready to buy #4 as soon as I finish this!) the storyline takes a while to develop and you might be tempted to give up, but don't. The characters are well developed and I truly enjoy the protagonist. There are a couple of blips in the story arc where her actions/thought processes are unrealistic for the way the character has been developed (also true in book 2 but not so much in book 3). Ancillary characters are also interesting. Highly recommend!

Never Say Spy. (Sorry! I sent this a few minutes ago with the wrong title.) Really fun! The network idea threw me when it was first introduced, but it was really innovative. I’m going to read the next book.

Great start. Really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

A good read.... In my estimation Diane is a very good writer with a very down-to-earth approach to her Books. The characters she developed are ones who keep your interest and make you chuckle throughout the book. I would recommend it to anyone and look forward to reading more of her releases.

Refreshingly Different. Fast-paced book kept me hooked and not wanting to put it down. The main character, a middle-aged female, was an untypical female. She was a carpenter, bookkeeper and do-it-yourself type of person who is most comfortable wearing jeans and tee shirt. Unwittingly she becomes involved in high level espionage with killers lurking around every corner. I recommend reading this book, you'll enjoy it.

Never say spy. This book was engaging and intriguing, completely easy to read. The storyline was well written and fun to try to figure out. I did not see the twists and turns coming.

Wonder Woman. Finally! An intriguing story involving a woman as the main character who doesn’t give in to the raging sex fiend that supposedly lives in all women. I found this interesting, exciting and humorous. I read this long into the night unable to put the story down, wondering what would happen next! I want to be Aydan Kelly when I grow up (although in my mid 40s, I’m not sure when that will happen...) I can’t recall ever reading a book about a heroine that held my interest as thoroughly as this. I’m really looking forward to reading the next book in this series, and then the next, and the next!

Unique Read. I hadn't researched anything about the book prior to reading it. At first I was thrown off by the Sci-Fi. But the characters, style of writing, plot are all very well done, making it a thoroughly enjoyable read. I can't wait to enjoy the series.

Never Say Spy. An innocent bystander gets pulled into an espionage operation. I liked the characters enough that I bought the next in the series. The author leaves the tension between the two main characters unresolved. If she does not resolve it in the next book, I'll buy no more.

Awesome. I love that the main character is a woman around 50 years old. It was hard to put this novel down. Spies, guns, bad guys and a little romance in the perfect combination. Can't wait to read the next book.

Good title. This isn’t normally my usual read but it was a fantastic book! Funny, heart stopping action and a little sexy to boot. What more could you want? LOVED IT! Can’t wait for the next book.

Never Say Spy. Never say Spy was a great read. Didn't get much housework done because I wanted to know what was next to happen. It had a very interesting plot with portals, sims and computers which gave me a window into possibilities of future things to come. I am 90 years old and hope I see some of them happen. I'll get "The Spy Is Cast" when my next SS check arrives. (Maybe you could include a 5'2" gray-haired great-grandma in your cast of characters in one of your literary endeavors😊.)

Caught my attention. I started and worked hard to completion. Meaning if a book doesn't grab me early I typically won't finish the story. I will buy the next and if it is a successful of gaining my attention as the first did I will return for the fifth star.

Just bought the next one. This is a fast paced fun read that doesn't take itself too seriously. It starts out amusing then escalates into a full blown panic before tying up loose ends and opening the way to future developments.

Brilliant - a must read. This is the first book of a fantastic series. An easy read that still manages to be funny, touching, sexy and exciting. Amazing. This was a freebie. It's after midnight and I have just finished this book several hours after I started it. The characters are well rounded, the story was well developed and kept me guessing. I'm feeling pretty good about continuing with the series. If you like strong female characters who are still regular people, this is a very good read.

Never say Spy.. Couldn’t put it down, had to find out what happened next. Loved Ayden, great to have an older woman starring and that she is strong and has real emotions. Look forward to finding out what occurs next as I am sure she won’t just live quietly on her farm.

Never Say Spy. I have never been into fantasy and was a bit disappointed when the story headed into this area however the longer I read the more I got involved and it didn't seem all that impossible. The characters were fantastic, some reminding me of people I have worked with, looking forward to the next book.

Spare some time. Almost read the entire book in one sitting but 2/3 of the way through, after reading most of the day, my eyes stopped focussing and I was forced to put it down to get some sleep. I finished it the very next morning. This book is fun, unexpected, exciting and CANADIAN in all the very best ways.
