Cool if you look at it as a fantasy. I'm an atheist, and I got this book to have a good read. I don't care if you think what happens in this book is real. But I was reading this book as if it was Harry Potter and it was really fun

It's true. You guys can believe whatever you want to and write as many reviews about this book as you need to, but I am a Christian and I believe in this book. Now those who are saying that this book is nothing but fictional and is just a fantasy, well that's your opinion. You can debate about this as much as you want but it's not going to get anyone any where. The fact of the matter is is that there will always be believers and nonbelievers in this world. Those who don't believe are probably making assumptions and haven't even read the whole story. If you are a nonbeliever either try to read the story again or respect the ones who do and their views. When we die someday (and we know someday it'll come) were either going to face the judgement of God or just be buried in the dirt, rot and not feel anything anymore. All I know is that if God wasn't real and the whole book of Bible was just a fantasy I still wouldn't have anything to worry about. I would never care about wasting my time over a useless belief because I still spent my life very well by sticking to what I believed in and telling others about a religion that gives people hope and makes them happy. By the way if you need a real great Christian story try reading Soon by Jerry Jenkins. :)

The Holy Bible. I really enjoy reading scriptures from this Bible. The scriptures are well written, and they’re very easy to understand.

I pray for those who are.... I pray for everyone. I am on my way to fully accepting GOD through Jesus Christ...I want to make sure I am honest to myself in heart, mind, and spirit. I am thankful that I am submitting myself to GOD through Jesus Christ. I want every word in the Bible to live in me, I want to be the best I can be and to do this through living the words in the Bible.

Garbage. This story makes no sense at all. I'm so confused. The authors wrote it 300 years after the supposed events. Why do people think this is a true story? I'm very confused about the character of Jesus. He shows up halfway through the story saying he's the son of God. He has good quotes but I'm not quite sure about his magic powers. This book is really trying to be the avengers, but it's not a true story. IDK but 1/5.

Relatable. Alright, first off I really did enjoy the story. There were very relatable characters, like Jesus and Abraham. I really liked a lot of the stories Jesus told too, they had great morals and added a lot to the plot. I also liked the twists, like when God was like "I'm gonna flood the world" and Noah "Was like ok, Ima build a huge ark." and God was like "good idea! " My main criticism was that it seemed a little unbelievable at some points, like creating the world in 6 days.

I love the bible. I became a Christian about a month ago I'm ten years old and i think the bible is the best book there is in the universe. God is the one and only no one can love us more than Him. God is our savior and he protects us everywhere and there isn't anything that he can't do. That is why I love the bible and God's word!

forget religion. GET FAITH.. -FAITH: now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) -just as others, i can not fathom what type of person would review "the bible" as they have, so foolishly. to say it is: fictional, fantasy & to make fun and be so disrespectful. it's amazing to ME how a person who doesn't KNOW God, is the quickest to find negativity in God. -"thou lovest evil more than good;and lying rather than to speak righteousness" (psalms 52:3) -one of the best reviews i read, talked of what i often say to non-believers. WHY would you choose NOT to believe in a God, salvation and eternal life after death, when NO ONE really does know what happens after death? do you REALLY want to take that chance? it doesn't hurt to believe, but it might not to believe. i would choose to be on the SAFE side, even if i wasn't raised in a christian home. my daddy always said bible stands for: Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth -yes, how cute, right? but honestly.. if you choose to be spiritual (as i do now) you'll find that this book IS a tool. a guide that provides wisdom, love, peace & comfort. -you do not have to be "religious" to believe in God or the bible. but you must have FAITH that He is real and WILL work in your life, if YOU allow him to. -best of luck and many prayers to the ones who speak blasphemy. i pray for your souls.. that you may find the light in this dark world. the truth, the way.. and live a life that consists of meaning rather than nothing. peace<3 check out the band: forever oeuvre (not a "Christian labeled" band, but a band that speaks of hope in desperation & rocks!) -& to the believers! keep on keeping on, i pray that God blesses you for spreading his word! Great sci-fi read!. Omgosh! This is such a lovely tail of a mystical creature that brings to life a man and woman named Adam and eve. Eve is really dumb and eats from a tree that god said not to eat from. Adam and eve become really embarrassed because they are naked. God gets pissed off and kicks them out of eden. Adam and eve have a lot of kids and those kids have kids and those kids have kids and ext ext till god gets pissed again and floods the earth. This dude name Noah built a ship though that god told him to build. Well Noah saved like EVERY animal and birds and creepy things. Anyway this story goes on to tell like 30 more stories about all kinds of people. One being Jesus. Jesus is a baller turning water into wine. Healing people left and right. LOTR has nothing in this book!

Good book, but the movie’s better. The main character was a little weird tho, he sorta thought he was like...some kind of god. He’s a nice dude mostly though. Long book. I wish it was shorter. Idk if the author’s still around but I want him/her to sign my copy. I couldn’t finish it in one sitting, and I think the author’s autocorrect didn’t change a few typos it should’ve. Overall a pretty easy read.

Disappointed. I do not like the substitution of Yahweh for the name of God. In The sample the only name used is God in the book of Genesis. When I purchased the full version I find out they use the Name Yahweh starting in Exodus instead of God. I know Yahweh is another name for God but when reading during Church or bible study I prefer to read the name God. Another problem, no matter how I close out and return to library when you open the book again it defaults to the last chapter and verse you were reading. I will stay with the NIV or KJV version. Money wasted on WEB.

WWJD :). Love this app! :D I wanted to check the reviews on this app and see how cool it was, but to my Dismay I saw conflict... Mathew 5:39 "But I tell you, do not resist them who is evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also." John 15:12 "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you" We are to be Christ like if we want to change the world :). Okay, who are we to say what's what? Were we there in the beginning? Can we even make people to begin with? Where were we when light was formed, when man breathed its first breath, and when Christ our Savior died for the sakes of Humanity?... We have no saying against the Everlasting Creator. Fantasy? *heh* hard to believe right? That's GOD for you, defines the laws of life. For HE IS life. Well done. This is NOT only the book of Genesis, contrary to what some reviews say. When you first download the book it will open up to the first page of Genesis - simply go back one page or go to the table of contents to see the full list of books of the bible. It's easy to go to a particular book and chapter with this edition, which is nice.

Boring. Got to page 120 and can't go on anymore. 1 this is the most boring book I have ever read and I've read some naff in my time! 2nd how to people think this is all real? Some people are backwards I suppose. All I can say is the proof of evolution is in our DNA...

Very poor. Seems like an odd, contradictory, dangerous mish-mash of nonsense. Mostly disturbing, uninteresting and boring I'm amazed it's still being published! Heard some people might think its all real though?! Very worrying... they need help!

The Bible. I really enjoyed reading the Bible from one cover to the other. I can understand why it's so important to keep reading it.

Terrible. Awful read. Characters don't work together and stories need work.

Worst fictional book ever. No pattern to the story, different and un-named authors! All pretending to be preaching facts from a man who lives in the sky. No proof found of this guy of course! And yet people live by this unreliable tool of garbage! I'm convinced it was just a practical joke - continued by many jokers through the generations!

Brilliant. This story of an insane man who thinks that he is the ruler of humanity is great. Read as he causes pain to his people just because they think he's not real. But the best bit was the second half of the book. Where Mary must lie to her husband because she aphid that affair with that black guy and says that she was seen by a angel and this baby is the son of god. Then her lie go's so far that the king now wants to kill this baby. Then read how her baby is very confused and it actually believes its the son of god! This book is simplely brilliant. GET IT NOW.

Price. This book used to be free but now you have to pay which seems a bit ridiculous but otherwise it is quite helpful.

Decent. This novel is fairly good book for those who enjoy mediocre written fantasy story.

The Bible. This book used to mean nothing to me, but now when I read it, when I live it out in my life, it means Peace, and healing, and its the truth in love. There is no greater sacrifice then one who gives his life for others. In this book it shows me that he loved me even when I hated him, and that kind of love is what has transformed my life.

Bible. The navigation between books is slow and not well organized

Best E-Book Bible you'll find for iPad. Some of the other Bibles on iTunes have some basic functionality issues, such as being unable to select a book from the Chapter menu. This one, however, works quite well--you can choose which book you want to read from, and from the first page of each book you can quickly jump to the chapter you want to look at. The search function, unfortunately, works the same way on this book as it does in any other book. Which would be fine, but given the slight word changes in successive translations of the Bible, it makes it quite difficult to quickly look up a verse if you know its content but not its location. I.E. "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" or "Let him who has not sinned be the first to throw a stone at her". So unfortunately google is still a more reliable way to look up the location of individual verses. In any case, the usefulness of having access to a Bible at all times, even if you aren't a Christian, shouldn't be underestimated, and this is the best one you'll get without opening your wallet.

Author prone to rambles bordering on the bizarre at times. ** Language and views expressed may be offensive to readers, may not be appropriate for young children. Fans of the genre (historical fiction/fantasy/mythology) are best to look somewhere else.
