I Wish.... I zoomed through the first three books, but when I got to this one, I just couldn't get into it!!! I know it's about the past, but I want the story to remain on Thomas and his best buddies! Not some random people in the past that experienced the beginning of the Flare.

Most Put Together Book I’ve Ever Read. Honestly, when I started the book I wasn’t happy about having to meet new characters. But as the story came along, I couldn’t put it down. The ending will leave you shocked, satisfied, and in tears.

Love them but. I love the Maze Runner trilogy and think it is much better then the Hunger Games trilogy but the Red Rising Trilogy trumps them both and is a definite must read if you liked these books!!

Wow. For a second there, I thought you lost it with Death Cure. Nope. Kill Order is like the key that unlocks everything. It gets you to understand the entire series.

MORE MOVIES. Thomas if you see this you need to make more movies or I will be mad. The book was good but you need to make a movie about it and same for fever code just look for a little kid who looks like Thomas and just get a new character for kill order just please make more movies.

Good, but.... I felt like in this story James didn't flesh out his characters enough for the amount of action he had. There was only like 4 or 5 chapters that were not about Mark and/or Alec running and fighting. It was kinda like reading a paragraph that ends everything in an exclamation point. You still can enjoy it. It's just the action parts get repetitive.

Favorite.... I'm really hoping you might make a 5th book. It might not be just me but maybe other fans to, but I want to know how they survive after book 3! Do they go to attack WICKED or do they build a village?

Ehh. I read The Maze Runner series and then decided to read the prequel. I was pretty disappointed. For some reason I cannot get into it. With the first three books I read all three of them within a week. I'm going on a month with The Kill Oder and I'm only half way through. This book is boring. I love this series but just not this book.

Best book ever. This is a great book if you have read the rest of the series and I will never forget it.

Amazing. I really loved this book. The author did a good job writing this book and I hope they are making a movie for this because I would be thrilled. I wonder what it would be like in Mark's shoes? Probably interesting

The Mazerunner. Surprisingly enough the book and the movie are equally good. I liked them so well I immediately ordered "The Kill Order" and "The Death Cure" to followup.

Wow!. I thought I would not like it, but I LOVED it! Really good! I liked the characters, and the end was just AMAZING! This book really shows what a dystopia is like. I wish they had a movie. The Maze Runner is one of my favorite series! Worth the read.

So so. I'm half way through this book, so far it's awesome (great series). However, the review/spoiler kind of ruined it for me and quite frankly p*ssed me off, not cool dude.

Wow. This is the only book of the series I didn’t give five stars. This book didn’t really pick up until the end. My family and friends said it was there favorite book of the series. It left a lot of questions but answered a lot as-well, this book is good although it’s slow and really confusing at the start. I recommend reading it, I read the other three in a week (all of them) but this one was slow and I don’t really wanna finish it so I read it in two weeks. Again I do recommend it but it’s not as good as the first ones especially cause I didn’t see newt lol but it’s alright not bad not great. It’s good.

So confused!. I loved the series and decided to read this one. In the beginning, I was super confused on the characters. Who is mark and Alec?! I searched it up on google and it just said it was a new set of main characters! I love thomas and the old characters and I miss them! Reading this book without them in it is boring and confusing :(

The Kill Order. The novel, The Kill Order is a suspense filled thriller about survival in a new order. The main characters exhibit strength of character and the ability to persevere against great odds. In addition, The Kill Order explanations how the world came to be for Thomas in The Maze Runner. Read this novel!

Surprised. Flipping amazing it has a slow beginning, but you come around and get to know and love mark. Sad ending :,(

Ehhh. I couldn't get into the book. It was very boring and repetitive. The whole book is basically Mark and Alec endlessly running and fighting and there is no character development or solid plot line. It did answer some questions left by The Death Cure which is the only reason I kept reading. I'm a pretty fast reader so I was surprised that it took me almost a month to actually finish the book. I was very disappointed. It seems the author used up all his decent writing in the first three books and rushed through this one.

My Heart's Still Racing!!!. This book was absolutely amazing! I love The Maze Runner Series and this was complete icing on the cake!! My heart was pounding non-stop and the ending was PERFECT!!! A definite MUST buy! I have this on my iPad and I'll definitely get a copy for my bookshelf too! X)

BEST BOOK EVER!!. I started this book and finished it about a week’s time later. This book was a real page turner and had shoved me into a world of, death and disease, head first. I dove right in and picked up on the characters right away. Me being only still a tween I would recommend this book for all ages. James Dashner’s word choices were impeccable. He let me grasp onto the characters and feel their pain and hardships. When I read this book I felt the group’s pain with the heat considering I read this during summer down south. Mark’s affection for Alec, Lana, Deedee, and most of Trina intrigued me. His hope and determination, his willingness to not give up hope when hope had been buried many miles below untouchable ground. James Dashner has touched deep into my emotions and grabbed them and mixed them together into an angry yet fearful and fearlessness with sorrow and affection to top it off. When this book was over, I had gained so much, yet I had lost a piece of me that I would never be able to find even if I had crossed the world, that piece of me was lost in the infinite amount of space beyond our world. It was almost as if James Dashner was predicting the future. With climate change it may as well turn into the world of sweltering heat caused by the sun flares. I can’t express enough about how there will never be a book as amazing, as emotion grasping as this book. I wanted to cry when the book was over for so many reasons. I am not going to spoil this outstanding book so I will only mention one reason. I started to tear up that this book had come to an end. Me and my brother will pretend we have the Flare, and walked around in a gimpy sort of way. Thank you James Dashner for helping me come into this world with Mark, Alec,Trina, Deedee, and Lana and others who have been lost. Sincerely, Eloise V.A.

VERY good book. This was 1 if not thee best book I have ever had the pledger in reading and the ending made me fell kinda sad and gloomy but like I said before VERY good book

I'm confused. So is this the last book in the series? I've just started reading this series and its SOO good so far. But this is the first one I'm reading.. And I don't know if this is the first book or the last..

MUCH better than The Maze Runner trilogy!. Let's be honest: I wasn't a big fan of The Maze Runner book. It was okay. But I liked The Scorch Trials and couldn't easily stop reading it. The Death Cure was slow but then got really good with the last 10-20 chapters which I couldn't put the book down. And then this book was MUCH better than the other three books! It explained almost everything you needed to know. But it's not just that, it was also much better written. And the one thing I loved about this book is that they didn't use "shuck" and "shank" and all that (those words really annoyed me in The Maze Runner trilogy). But it's not just that. It's EVERYTHING. You don't even need to read the trilogy to read this one!

Unbelievable.. That one word. Unbelievable. That was amazing. The maze runner series, then this the story behind it all, amazing. This is one of the best series I've read. I can't wait to start reading his next series.

Worst of the series. This is by far the worst of the series, unless your preference is for books with endless fight scenes and almost zero quality plot. Really unimpressed.

My four star review. This was an incredibly good book. I'm giving it four stars because of all the flashbacks. The book would've progressed much better if they would've started it in the subway area, I highly recommend the book despite this issue.

Fun side story but not important to the main one. It’s kinda like the “Rogue One” Star Wars movie. Important to a degree, but if you skip it your not missing out on anything. The main characters have almost nothing to do with Thomas and the others (we only see Thomas and Teresa in the first and final chapters of the book) and it’s kinda a let down. WAY to many characters die in the beginning, like we didn’t even get to really know them. The five characters that didn’t die immediately were separated from the story (like they were alive but we had a very small emotional connection to them because they weren’t really IN the story if that makes sense) and was honestly a little bit disappointing. If you wanna cry and have a funish survival story.. then this book is for you.
