A good read. A bit lengthy in description of events, but that goes for the time period it was written.

Wonderful classic. This book is intriguing and will pull you to the edge of your seat. Jane Eyre is a classic everyone should read!

Beautiful. Wonderful and amazing this book

A Beautiful Story. I had the opportunity to read this in high school, but sadly the class decided on another. But still, I’m glad I didn’t read it then, because I don’t think I would have enjoyed it, or appreciated it. As I read it, I found some interesting parallels to my own life in Jane’s story. Some of her hardships and views are remarkably similar to my own. I love the fact that Jane found faith and a relationship with God in her youth, although I didn’t form my relationship with Him until my early 30s. In the end, this was a very good, wonderful, worth-while read.

Must Read. I love to read classic books. Jane Eyre was a very well written book that kept my attention to the end.

Read this book!!!. Some time ago when I was little I wanted to read this book but I stopped halfway through thinking that it’s boring and not worth my time. Seven years later I tried to give it another try. The beginning wasn’t as exciting and interesting but the second half of the book gets crazy. Once you get through about 150 pages it’s impossible to stop. It gets extremely interesting and very emotional. 100% worth your time.

Jane Eyre. Excellent read. Thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end.

Engrossing, exciting and perfect in every way. This book is now my all-time favorite book. I felt like Jane Eyre was a part of me, and at the end of the book it was hard to leave her. Charlotte really did a splendid job of creating a beautiful, romantic, suspenseful, and brilliant masterpiece... I rest my case:)

A great read. A passionate book written in eloquent prose. Only implacable stone would be unmoved as you live through life's sorrows and bliss with these characters. Excellently written and a must read.

Jane Eyre. I could not put this book down. Literally. Usually, I take my phone with me everywhere I go, so that I don't misplace it, but on days where I was busy with tasks other than reading, I had to force myself not to bring my phone to the bathroom just to pee, because I would surely go on my iBook app and read more of Jane Eyre and get caught in her romantic story. I loved every minute of it!

Captivating. The writer did a very beautiful job captivating the reader with detail and imagination as a friend telling you a story. Although at times it’s very wordy, as Jane goes on and on…I liked it well. Touches plenty on religious beliefs but it was due to the times. Good read for a old classic.

Excellent. I love this book. It has made a huge impact on my life & has became my favorite. When I first watched the movie it was so suspenseful & had me wanting more. When I read the book I was so disappointed in the movie & on how much they had left out on the ending. This book touched my heart & has warmed my soul so much.

Inspiring Adventure. I last read Jane Eyre in eighth grade, over 50 years ago, but remembered little. From the first page, I was compelled to keep reading. Wonderfully written, filled with critical thinking and adventure, a must read.

I did not expect to love this book (8.5/10). I cannot believe that this book was written in the 1800s! Any person can relate to how Jane is feeling in this book. Falling deeply in love hurts, and so does the ending of this book. I now understand the cover of this book, the Thornfield fire… I love the ending, it’s perfect. The characters were all flawed and human like. The book did not feel rushed and had good pacing. There were some parts that were a bit flat for me but other than that, a superb book! I definitely recommend this to people who are starting out with classics.

Great Book!. I read a Hampton Brown version which left out a lot of detail but it was still interesting... When I came across this book I saw that it was much detailed it informed the reader about Janes childhood and told what happened.. Overall I would rate this 5 star classics . Definitely one of my favorite. The movie was terrible with Mia W. & Michael F. I watched a older version of Jane Eyre on YouTube It was like a episode series and it went by the book not the whole thing. I like the ending the ending in the book is really deep and thoughtful..

Jane Eyre. As a man this love story surprisingly moved my heart in love and devotion to my wife. As a Christian man my heart was moved and drawn to Charlotte Bronte's Lord and Sovereign. I would recommend this classic highly to all. There is a reason this is a classic.

Different than your average classic. If you had to read only ONE classic, read Jane Eyre. I’m not a fan of classical literature (before this book) but I decided to start reading this and give it a try. The themes that are touched in this book are so related to our modern culture, I definitely see what people mean when they say it’s written ahead of its time. I do have to say after some time after the middle it started getting slightly slower but you definitely get over that quick and it doesn’t deserve a lower rating because of that.

Utterly Amazing!. This book is fabulous! It is definitely a must-read for everyone. I am only in my teens and I enjoyed this book tremendously. Whoever is reading this, download it and read it!

Jane eyre. Books come in all forms but this one I couldnt confine it to one form it is a great classic and very diffrent than what im used to I had great thoughts on the story line so i'd say an overall great book for teen-young adults who like to read

Jane Eyre. I have heard abut this book for years. Interesting use of words/turn of phrase. I don’t understand why editing was not done to correct the use of Janet instead of Jane In some of the later chapters. Tsk, sloppy work!

One of my favorites. Something about the character of Jane sticks with me. I’ve read this book several times now. I always find myself rooting for her, because she’s been the underdog her whole life. It’s definitely worth your time.

Every Teenage Girl Should Read this Book!. I absolutely loved this book, and I can easily say that it is my favorite classic novel of all time. First, let's start with the main character, Jane Eyre. She is the perfect role-model for all young girls. She's smart, sensible, kind, modest, and I love how she's not ready to just throw away her life and dignity to a man, even if she loves him with all her heart. I loved her independent spirit. In short, instead of reading Twilight, which is a novel with a crappy, and weak heroine,Bella Swan,read Jane Eyre, and you won't regret it. My only complaint was that the beginning of Jane Eyre was rather slow,but once she met Mr. Rochester and came to Thornfield I was hooked!

A classic for a reason.. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. I feel like it’s written in a way that may not be as popular now yet, it is still well written. Worth reading.

Perfectly woven love story and life journey. Charlotte Bronte unfolds a greatly knitted blanket of life and romance. Her product starts out with cruelty and hopelessness but the reader begins to see quickly it is this trial that forms a finer heart in Jane whose path is singular into the arms of Mr Rochester. Charlotte’s eloquence is musical and just as important as her content. Her words create a vivid imagery of Jane’s surroundings and how Jane felt about them which would influence the reader’s mood. She addresses the societal pressures and expectations, ridiculing their existence in sincerity choosing people who have more enlightened things to say than those who speak highly of their own looks and societal status. A favorite re-read!

Good Book!. This is a great book for leisure reading. There’s a ton of underlying themes that you can delve further into. Jane’s development is wonderful to see develop throughout the piece. Friendly heads up: The actual book is broken into a series of three books or parts. This one is not. Do not let that throw you.

Loved It!. Read this on vacation and fell absolutely in love. I definitely recommend this to you as an excellent piece of classic literature and also a tragic, but romantic story. Satisfying ending, but many twists and turns throughout the book. Please read this!

Classic. Of course, this is must read. This edition contains many typos. The lovely drawings are only partially visible. I will buy a paper edition for my permanent library.

Page TURNER.. I picked up this book when I was bored. I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I read it. It’s starts off a bit slow, but one needs to understand Jane’s childhood in order to understand the person she is and becomes. It is my favorite book, I love all the characters especially Mr. Rochester. The character development is amazing and I absolutely could not put it down once I started reading it. A true classic I will never forget and will definitely read again.

Boring Classic. I’m all for classics and slow burn books but this was just... too much. Fell asleep so many times trying to read it. Cannot say anything about the writing style but I’ll never get how this book is one of the greatest classics.

Wow, Jane’s Alright!. I really enjoyed this book. It was my first time reading it and I can see why people love it. Jane is pretty gangster. She’s stoic and strong even tho the world has been cold and bitter to her. I still have reservations about Rochester, but you know if she likes it, I love it. I feel like the heart wants what it wants even if it is a blind man, twice your age, hiding a secret wife and lying, laughing and playing in your face. Couldn’t be me. However, it was a different time. Yo, maybe it could have been me!? Nah, yo. I’m lying. See that’s what it feels like when people be playing in your face! Anyway, the writing was remarkable, it made me feel all the things. Charlotte Brontë is a legend with this writing. You felt every moment — despair, insanity, desolation, sparks flying, growth, renewal, everything. For that alone, this was a delightful reading experience!

A page turner !. Vivid descriptions and colourful characters.. the story has enough plot twists to keep one interested.. I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Wonderful. Charolette Brontë truly is a genius. This story has so much feeling, I loved it.
