Many Lives, Many Masters Book Summary

As featured on Oprah’s “Super Soul Sunday,” the classic bestseller on a true case of past-life trauma and past-life therapy from author and psychotherapist Dr. Brian Weiss—now featuring a new afterword by the author.

As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the “space between lives,” which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss’ family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.

Having being touched by anxiety my whole life- I myself and multiple family members- this book helped me on so many levels. I have only recently discovered that I am a deeply spiritual person. It has come in waves for me over the last year a half. This book made me realize that I have been given a gift, I am conscious- I am aware of what I need to do as a person on earth to advance my journey towards spiritual happiness. Reading Many Lives, Many Masters has truly given me hope! Thank you Dr. Brian Weiss., MJ Cremin, NYC

This was a lovely book! I couldn't put it down and reluctantly finished it in 2 days. This book has wonderful spiritual implications, and should be on everyone's to-read list.

This was by far one of the most impactful books I have ever read. Easy to understand, well presented and rationally explained. This has changed the way I view the life process and our journey as souls.

For as long as I can remember, I have "known" things for no reason that I have been able to explain. I have an unbelievable connection to my best friend to which neither of us can explain. I have always strongly been aware that everything in my life happens for a reason and that there is most definitely a lesson associated with the experience. This book confirms what I have always known to be true. It's a beautiful book written with the utmost respect for both the living and the dead. If you are looking for confirmation or simply for possible answers, this is the book to read.
  • Fun topic with a scientific approach

I enjoyed this book. It was my first venture into the subject of past life regression. Although very interesting, the book is fairly vague and mainly focused on one patient. I would recommend for anyone who is new to the subject matter but will probably be too light for a more knowledgable part life readers.
