Lame fake James Bond attempt. This book has no substance. Very bad writing style. This is the first and last exposure to "New York Times Best Seller".

Quick read. I like McDermott’s style of writing, his words flow easily and and he likes to throw in the occasional big word that brings you out of your zone and think about what he wrote. The stories are predictable but entertaining enough that I keep buying them. What I do find annoying is the politics. I read his bio and know he was a journalist so his views may lean toward the left. My main issue with the books are that it seems that all the major villains are major right wingers bent on global domination and controlling everyone. I always felt that that was liberal left’s agenda.

DON'T BUY IT!. I love Andy McDermott and the Atlantis series but I hated the fact that I spent 10$ for this book and part way through it they totally cut off the end of one chapter! I am already paying more money to IBooks to read this then I would going to Barnes and noble. The least they can do is make sure I get the whole book and not part of it! DON'T WAST YOUR MONEY! Just go buy it at the store and save yourself a few bucks and get a COMPLETE book.

Atlantis. Well written, made impossible scenarios seem possible, riveting adventure, found myself squeezing my smart phone. Great!!
