I began to see a description the christian faith that I received from my forebears displayed in this story. I saw that people's behavior in this time period was not very different from behavior today. Ms. Stowe revealed herself as a story teller frequently through the book by speaking directly to the reader. The longer I read the book the more I enjoyed it. Even though none of the characters had my surname, I still recommend reading it.
