Message Bible. The content is great! The downside is that you can't do a search by chapter-you have to keep flipping until you reach your desired verse (not good).

Prepare to be annoyed. It's no substitute for one of the authoritative translations and it's definitely not a study Bible. It's far and away the best of the common speech renderings but almost useless without chapter and verse searching. Fix that and it's worth 5 stars.

The Message. Not being able to select chapter & verse makes this book useless for bible study. You should issue refunds to all who bought this book.

God's Word in modern text. Easy to read. May lose some of the famous verses we know from KJ. But easy to spend time with.

The Message Bible. Why does the table of contents just go to Kings? It's very difficult to get to the book of the Bible you want after that. Would be great if it had the table of contents for the entire book. Can this be fixed?

Search function non existent. The Message is great. This e-book is very poor in terms of searching. If I enter “Genesis” it might find the first reference, I.e. it will take me to the start of Genesis. If I try a usual Bible search of, say, Gen 5:15 it will not find it. I know verse numbering in the Message is different from other Bibles but even a search of Gen 5 or Genesis 5 will not take me to the start of Genesis chapter 5. The publishers should fix this and give all e-book users a free upgrade.

The Message. No scriptural search feature; only first page of Table of Contents is accessible; VERY user UN-Friendly. FORGET IT!

The message. I found this book not user friendly as I could not easily pull up a list of the books of the bible and their start pages. Once while opening the book an index came out of nowhere and I have not been able to find the index page again. If the index was easily accessible the book would be wonderfully useful. As it stands now it is just frustrating trying to locate information and I feel ripped off for paying for the download.
