The Fate of Destiny by Danielle Bourdon Book Summary

Up until three days before her eighteenth birthday, Farris Landry's life fit neatly into three categories: consuming, troublesome and downright tricky.

Consuming because of the unnatural passion (obsession) she had for writing 'stories'.

Troublesome for the mother who descended into the realm of the insane right before her eyes.

Tricky when she found herself on her own, forced to carve out an existence by the skin of her teeth.

Farris quickly discovers that consuming-troubling-tricky is nothing compared to the Chaos that ensues after a visit to her grandmother. Determined to go on with her life, Farris finds out the hard way that sometimes, Fate has other ideas. In the blink of an eye, her life gets turned upside down: a tornado rips through town, her loft catches fire, and an explosion decimates her workplace.

A stranger, Emerson Ferrera, inserts himself into the violence, becoming guardian and protector. Farris begins to suspect her grandmother's warning of impending death might be more serious than she thought.

Tragedy and betrayal follow, throwing Farris into a tailspin. Will she be able to trust the stranger she's become close to, or will his deception tear them apart?

Find out if Farris' writing obsession is just a unique gift or a clue to a talent with a more supernatural twist in The Fate of Destiny, book #1 in the Fates series.

Great. Really nice book it's so addictive !! I couldn't put it down :)

Uh... Very interesting. Extremely disturbed by Larissa dying. Disgusted with ending. And I found beelah, or what ever the heck her name is, exceedingly annoying. Not to be mean , book wasn't really that good (the ending) and why u chose to name them "theron, Farris and BEELAH? that answer is BEYOND me.

Cannot read it. I'll be honest, this might be a decent story, but I can't get past the title to even read the story. honestly, what author would choose "The Fate of Destiny" as a title??? while I understand that fate and destiny have some different connotations and associations, today they are used interchangeably, so technically the title makes no sense. it sounds like a poor attempt to sound mysterious and dramatic.

Fate of Destiny. Enjoyed the story but the abrupt ending was very irritating... Sue Bainter

This book is amazing. This book was very different from any paranormal action/love story I have ever read. I loved how it began and how it held you until the very end and left you wanting more even while you're rereading I'm still waiting on book 3 thank you Danielle

The Fate of Destiny. Y. The Fate of Destiny 7.5/10 iBook. Interesting story based on the old Greek myths of the three Fates, who are actually people. Farris is nearly 18, and her Grandma asks he to stay inside coz a woman told Farris when she was a little girl that she was going to die on her 18th birthday. A hunky new guy, Emerson, arrives in their small town and a series of dangerous disasters befall Farris and her friend Beelah. Emerson saves them multiple times, but Farris does die on her birthday, and then she comes back to life, changed.

Good. It was good. It is different from werewolfs n vampires. Must read! Recommend for all ages

Slow. Loved The Royals Series but this book just didn't excite me. First two chapters were slow reading, after I finished the second, I just gave up reading.
